  1. Aww, lighten up. At least some of the girls were cute. I think the only difference is that there aren't a whole lot of good RuneScape costumes to be made. We don't have conventions, either.
  2. That's 4 years of ideal (for you) updates. One every 3-6 months to keep the members happy in between all the quests and holidays and lame updates.
  3. I'll second this. What a way to give an update that turns out to be a swift kick to the balls at the same time... I dunno, I would think that around 400-500 f2pers could get the job done. But then, I guess they wouldn't get the members-only elixir and sigil drops.
  4. I think Jagex should give f2p those big nasty lvl 138 Cave Crawlers from the Smoking Kills dungeon. In fact, I think they should put them right in the middle of Lumbridge. That would be a nice hook to get more members. "Not only do RuneScape members have access to antidotes for the awful poison you just got, they can raise their Slayer skill to a high enough level to kill the Cave Crawlers that attack you just as soon as you respawn!"
  5. In most ranged/magic equipment sets the weapons have much smaller attack bonuses, but the class-5 weapons have such massive bonuses because the armor doesn't have any. It just wouldn't be right to have the +225 ranged bonus on top of the bonuses from your ranged armor.
  6. I guess if I was running it I would jack up the prices (again). Actually, I think I'd be more likely to sell it. There's one less thing for me to worry about.
  7. My school work is near the top of my list of priorities (You learn to value your education more when you're paying for it), and I like my friends a lot more than I like games. RuneScape is what I do in between, and I imagine if I wasn't playing this game I'd be playing another game.
  8. It doesn't interest me, but that's not to say I won't change my mind. I'm waiting to see what happens.
  9. I'm not a great chef, but I can tell the difference between food that is well prepared, and food that isn't. In the same way, none of us has to be capable of writing better than this article to be dissatisfied by it. Nobody wants to make the guy feel bad, but a lot of us really didn't like it. I didn't like it, either. I thought it was kind of uninteresting, and I'm not sure I would have finished reading it if it was longer. Some of you might be disappointed by all the negative feedback this article got. But I'm glad there are still people who are willing to be a little blunt and say what they think, even if it hurts, instead of encouraging something they really didn't like in the first place.
  10. I'm going to put "Steel Dragon" on my ignore list and see what I get for slayer.
  11. If you raise construction high enough to put in a gilded altar, you will save millions training prayer. Besides, it was blatantly intended to rob you of your money. Why change it?
  12. They were also worried about getting in legal trouble, because of stolen credit cards being used to pay for p2p bot accounts.

    Today...

My last day of college was friday, so I get to squander the next month before I go back in mid-September. Also today my brother came home after being gone almost 2 months. That's about it.
  14. Next offseason, one or both of these teams will be looking for a new head coach.
  15. I've always been afraid of dogs. I was bitten by a dog when I was real little, maybe a year old. Right on the forehead. I've got a scar, which is so small I couldn't find it, and I don't remember it happening either. But for some reason dogs still scare me a little.
  16. You're thinking of Asian/Middle Eastern and English accents. No, I'm pretty sure they're both US accents, but I can't find any good examples of what I mean. :wall: edit: OK wait. one of them is this guy with the beard
  17. I'm not sure about the areas, but I like the one where "water" is pronounced "wattah," and I like the one where it's pronounced "warter."
  18. Good for him. The Jets are still screwed, though  But seriously, why would the Packers take a trade like that? The Jets should improve from last year, but what are the chances they actually make the playoffs this season?
  19. Do comics count? I like Calvin and Hobbes. Here's one of my favorites: http://www.transmogrifier.org/ch-img/ch940109.gif
  20. I'm not going to vote at all. The government will do what it wants anyway. Everyone knows the politicians are corrupt, scheming liars, so why do we all believe what they tell us? It's stupid. They're just going to do what's in their own best interest, no matter what we think, no matter how it affects us, and no matter what they told us. That all goes out the window as soon as they get elected. Also, don't buy into what they say about it being your duty to vote. That is pure [cabbage]. Someone made it up so more of us would vote, even if we don't like the candidates. Don't be fooled into thinking that you owe it to your country to vote for someone you don't want to elect.
  21. Heh, Humans will never forget how to reproduce  . But yeah options are endless. I'm talking really long-term, like what they say about global warming. Don't be surprised when it happens. And you can tell we're heading in that direction because we have to take classes to learn it in the first place.
  22. I can watch the NFL Network without getting bored.
  23. Cell phones, tv, radio, and so on, will end the human race. We're going to be more and more and more saturated with this stuff until our brains congeal and we forget how to reproduce.
  24. I'm in the same boat as you. I was busy and stopped playing for a few months, and when I wasn't looking all my friends bailed out of runescape and the "clan" I was in fell apart. Besides falling behind on quests, there's really nothing new for me to do. But if you need someone to talk to, then add me.
