  1. Already answered. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=300705
  2. Please refer to our Treasure Trails Guide. The answer to this clue IS in the guide:
  3. The answer to this clue IS in our Treasure Trails Guide, in the Riddles section: Note: the guide HAS been changed to use the exact wording of the clue (Find a crate instead of Search a crate). You should be able to see the changes as soon as the revised version of the guide is uploaded to our new server.
  4. You say you couldn't find the answer on the site, but did you look in the Treasure Trails Guide? The answer to this clue IS in the Guide: There's even a picture of him, if you need it.
  5. Well, if you DO run into more problems, I recommend you read this post: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=43375
  6. You can use the locator in our Treasure Trails Guide to find your location, but you should use your sextant to pinpoint the exact spot you need to dig. The locator and the Coordinates List will only give you an *approximate* location. And remember...even if you already KNOW where to dig, you still need the sextant, watch, chart AND clue in your inventory to dig up the casket containing your treasure/next clue. If you don't have the items with you, you can dig all day -- you'll never find anything. So yes, you don't need to actually use the sextant, watch and chart to find your location, but no, you can't get away with not speaking to the Professor to get them.
  7. Corrections and additions for the Farming Skill Guide to be posted here. People who help will be credited of course. Topic being closed due to new submissions method.
  8. A level 65 or 74 Zamorak wizard appears and attacks if you're digging on a level 3 coordinates clue in the wilderness. The level 108 Saradomin wizard appears and attacks if you're digging on a level 3 coordinates clue OUTSIDE the wilderness.
  9. Well first, the sara wizard only appears to fight you if you're digging on a level 3 clue. So if you don't have a level 3 clue, don't worry about it. If you DO have a level 3 clue and you're digging on coordinates outside the wild, then yes, you'll need to fight the sara wizard. If you use prayer and have protect from magic ON, he will attack you with a poisoned dagger. If you have protect from melee ON, he will attack you with magic, so there's no simple solution. The best way to defend yourself against him is to wear full dragonhide and attack him with protect from melee ON.
  10. There's some really good information and pics too!! about the pirate (Capt' Arnav is his name) in this post: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=294394
  11. You'd probably get more answers if you posted this in the General, General P2P or Runescape Events Forums ... I don't know what this has to do with Clues or Random Events...
  12. To get into that area, you need to do the WATCHtower Quest, NOT the Clocktower Quest.
  13. You sure you really looked? It IS there, on the Western side of West Ardougne. Look here: Be sure you have your clue scroll IN YOUR INVENTORY or you won't find anything. And you need to DIG, by the way.
  14. Yes, Treasure Trails are members only. So if you're F2P and want some trimmed armour, you'll have to buy it. F2P players CAN buy and wear the armour that comes from Treasure Trails. Check our Treasure Trails Guide for more information.
  15. There is a huge list of monsters that drop clues, sorted by clue level in the Treasure Trails Guide. If you're tired of killing guards, then check the guide and pick something else.
  16. Kiara_Kat replied to lennie100's topic in Help and Advice
No it's NOT the same thing as the Gnome Stonghold. The gnome "maze" surrounds the "Tree Gnome Village", and that's how it's labelled on the World Map. When you look at the map, you can clearly see that the village is in the middle of a maze. It's just to the Northwest of Yanille, directly West of the Fight Arena.
  17. Yes, you're right, it should be "find" and not "search". I don't think this will "confuse" many users -- this is the first time anyone has pointed it out, and this clue has been in the guide since it was first released. Nonetheless, it IS incorrect as is, and therefore will be fixed the next time the guide is updated. Thanks, ~Kiara
  18. When you say you "searched through the whole section", do you mean you looked through a whole section of the Treasure Trails Guide? Because this clue IS in the quide, in the Riddles section:
  19. Please read FAQ #1 in our Treasure Trails Guide. I think this may explain why you're not finding anything.
  20. I think you might find these two links useful: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=43375 http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=182355
  21. You don't have to be so rude. I was merely trying to point out that in your original question, you said you were over "there" killing monks, which when you read your question, makes it SOUND like you were at the Clocktower. That's not the same thing as monks at the monastery. There are monks in the Clocktower as well. Since you NOW say that you've been killing monks at the Monastery and you're not getting a key, well then, maybe you should check your inventory. Do you have the clue with you? If you don't, you won't get the key.
  22. You got over WHERE? The Clocktower? Maybe it's not working because you're not in the right place. The locked chest said "Property of the Clocktower Monastery", NOT "property of clocktower monks". That means you have to kill a monk in the Monastery to the Southeast of the Clocktower, not kill a monk in the Clocktower. Try again.
  23. Don't listen to him, that's NOT true. It's to the North of Falador. Look at our World Map: http://tip.it/runescape/?page=atlas.htm
  24. skaterdude8t9 is right, but again, the answer is in our Treasure Trails Guide. You'll save lots of time if you look there BEFORE you post here.
