  1. First, do you have your clue with you? Keeping it in the bank doesn't work. If you DO have your clue, are you sure you're in the right place? The house North of the Magic Guild is for this clue: If this is in fact the clue you have, then you should have received the following message when you tried to open the chest: It's only when these things happen that the key you get from killing a man will work on the chest. My guess is YOUR clue says to search a CRATE in Yanille, NOT a chest. If this is true, then you need to find the house with the piano. Search the crate in that house.
  2. You can't. Monsters drop clues on a totally random basis. You can get 3 clues in one day, or none at all for 3 weeks. Be patient and remember....the more monsters you kill, the higher yur chances for getting a clue. And you increase your combat exp too!
  3. You might want to try using the Treasure Trails Guide here at TIP.it next time.
  4. Do you have your sextant, watch, chart and clue with you? If you don't, you can dig all day and you won't find anything. Read FAQ #1 in the Treasure Trails Guide for more information.
  5. Absolutely. There is no limit to the number of clue scrolls a specific monster will give you. I've gotten dozen of scrolls from the Ardougne Market guards. But remember, you can only have one clue scroll at a time.

Yes, the mime is also available to free players. And just because you've never gotten one doesn't mean you won't. The mime is a random event, and you never know when (or if!) you'll get one. I'm a member and been playing for quite a while, and I've never gotten one!
  7. All that information is in the Treasure Trails Guide. Check the Basics Section for a list of monsters.
  8. You can't get it from a Treasure Trail yourself, because treasure trails are members only. You're going to have to buy it from another player. Either go hang out in the Varrock Marketplace (World 1 is good) and wait for someone to offer some for sale, or check out the Zamorak's Forge board here at the TIP.it Marketplace.
  9. A little bit to the West of the Northern mining area. You might want to try the Treasure Locator in the Treasure Trails Guide. All you do is enter your coordinates, and you'll be given a map with the location indicated. The link to the TIP.it Treasure Locator is in the upper right-hand corner of the guide.
  10. No. When you die, you lose the scroll. Take a look at FAQ #7 in the Treasure Trails Guide.
  11. No difference. A level 2 clue is a level 2 clue. It doesn't matter if your level 2 clue came from a level 21 guard or a level 57 ice warrior. What you get from each level 2 clue is totally random.
  12. You learn how to get into the Shipyard during the Grand Tree Quest, so you may have to start the quest to get in. BUT, you can try getting in without doing the quest by using these passwords when the worker asks for them: ka-lu-min Remember, you may have to do the Grand Tree Quest before you can get in. But try the password first if you don't feel like doing the quest.
  13. When you enter the Gnome Stronghold, walk West. You'll see the bridge. The hollowed rock that contains Brimstail's cave is just to the East of the bridge. Look here:
  14. Go into Feldip Hills. Like this: Fycie (Icy Fe) is located in a cave just to the Southwest of the quest start.
  15. PLEASE use the Treasure Locator Tool in the Treasure Trails Guide to find the dig location. Once you get to the general area, use your sextant to pinpoint the exact spot. That's what it's for.
  16. Can you be a little more specific, mate? Where in Feldip Hills? What's your clue say? Depending on the clue you've got you MIGHT have to do a quest to get there. Please provide more information if you want an answer.
  17. You probably DID get something, but the reward for getting the strange box question right is sometimes so small you probably didn't notice WHAT you got. The reward for getting the question right (and you only get a reward for the LAST box, by the way) can vary from a spinach roll to some gold coins to an uncut gem. You probably got a few coins, and that's why you didn't notice.
  18. Do the Regicide Quest and go through the Underground Pass.
  19. Sounds like a good plan to me. I'd drop it too considering you're so far away from the target levels. If you were closer, I'd say bank it and level up, but when you're off by that much, it's not worth it. Since you can't get any other clues if you hang on to that one, drop it.
  20. You need to start Legends. Sorry. And to even be allowed to start Legends, YES, you need at least 107 quest points, and you need to have completed the following quests: Hero's Quest Family Crest Shilo Village Underground Pass Waterfall Quest You also need at least the following levels: 52 Mining 50 Agility 50 Crafting 50 Smithing 50 Strength 50 Thieving 40 Prayer 56 Magic 50 Woodcutting 45 Herblore (or level 44 plus a Greenman's Ale)
  21. No. As long as you already have a clue, you won't get another one. It doesn't matter whether it's in the bank or in your inventory. Read the Treasure Trails Guide, FAQ #2.
  22. Sorry, mate, you need to go through the Underground Pass, and you need start Regicide to get to that area. And you also need level 56 agility. You don't have to finish Regicide to get there, but it does help. To be allowed to even start Regicide, you need to have completed the following quests: Plague City Biohazard Underground Pass
  23. And this link is supposed to help him how?
  24. LOL no problem. That's ALWAYS the answer when someone is in the right spot and can't find anything... Good luck! And watch out for the Zamorak wizard that will appear when you start to dig! There's always one when you have to dig on wilderness clues.
  25. Well it sounds like you're in the right spot, but do you have everything you need? Read FAQ 1. in the Treasure Trails Guide for more information.
