I didn't find the comments in the least bit funny. The whole storm over this is ridiculous though. I just got back from holiday with two friends - 17 and 18 years old. All three of us couldn't believe Channel 4 managed to drag a main story out of this for four whole days. Brown and Cameron have got bigger fish to fry right now. I don't really find Russell Brand funny but he was a good "comedian" and he should have stayed. The whole point of Brand is that he's a little risque. Are we gonna take Moyles off Radio 1 because he makes some obscene comments about celebs? Are we gonna take off Fighting Talk from Radio 5 because it offends some supporters? The Man on the Moon thing is a bit suspicious. That said, there's nothing to say it didn't happen. The only conspiracy theory I even vaguely agree with is the Kennedy assassination. The "magic bullet" theory has been disproved and I think there is a clear motive for the establishment to stop JFK's policies given it was in the climax of the Cold War and many of his policies were seen at the time as bordering socialism (equality to blacks and all that). Of course, if that was their motive, it failed because of how the emotional reaction to the event perhaps ironically pushed forward the civil rights movement in America, amongst other things. On the whole, I have faith in the government that they're genuinely trying to do the right thing as they see it though. A handful are corrupt, but you'll find those sorts everywhere in life, even some doctors and lawyers. BREAKING NEWS from the Daily Mail, that fine bastion of Great British journalism: they've thwarted yet another attempt by the Labour Bloc to seize control of the nation. Z button comes down to personal preference. I can't really see any advantage from either set-up, except the obvious that Z is just one button. MK is good for anyone, newbie or otherwise. Silly broken... thing *wants to swear* I use the C-stick for smashes but I think if you want a more general consensus of good SSBB players then A + analog is better for smashes on the ground. Apparently it's better for spacing and timing. C-stick is better in the air though because it frees up the analog stick for DI. Basically, I left SSBB in the Wii, I didn't play it for three days, no one else played the Wii, and I went back to play a friend online and the CD had gone, along with the case. I haven't taken out of the house or anything so... it's either here or it's stolen. My brother texts people like mad though so I've got my suspicions.

Does that count? :P No seriously, the problem you've got is a non-platonic relationship demands a physical desire from both people, not just yourself. And it's nigh impossible to change that other person's view like that. I've gone through life so far not really bothering about relationships. All of mine have come from friendships and I've never "dated". Even I have to confess though that if you want something more physical, you need to get out and start flirting and being a little bit audacious, even if it's something I can't ever picture myself doing.

You meet up with a girl and have sex with her. Let's say you spend the night with her. Can you honestly picture yourself going to sleep with someone, along with all the emotional anxiety that surrounds the actual event? What positions to use, worrying about whether it means anything to her, what's normal and what's just plain creepy, whether what you're feeling is the *right* feeling. You wake up with that person the next morning, and you've no idea what she's feeling, how she feels about you, how *it* went. What about after? Sex is an emotional journey as well. What if she wants it again? What if she wants more? Hell, there's at least seven questions and that's just looking at the two days after. Let alone what happens if you don't use protection, or a condom bursts, or you get busted by friends or parents... Sex is a lot more than shoving a penis up there and doing the act. Are you telling me, with honesty, you're able to answer those questions in the intimacy of someone else?

A word of advice. BAE don't [bleep] around. You step out of line once during the selection process, and you can kiss the job goodbye. There's a local base near Preston, where some people from my high school applied for an apprenticeship. My point was that just because lots of people write about a certain tale of events doesn't necessarily make it true, unless of course it has some sort of evidence behind it. Arguing through a " They said this..." format is inherently weak, and does not convince me that either God exists or that Jesus is His Son. If by arguing that there are thousands of manuscripts, you argue Jesus was the Son of God, than 2pac must also have risen from the grave five years ago given how many people wrote about the whacko seven years prophecy. Of course, 2pac did not come back to life. Hence, by the same logic, I have no reason to have faith in these manuscripts.

Given the large amount of manuscripts present, why wouldn't you believe it to be true? I'm gonna commit my life to writing one thousands manuscripts about the Pink Elephant. If I do that, will you believe He exists? No? How about if I call him the Messiah then?

I don't think the bailout will be what he's remembered for. Dubya's two terms were dominated by one thing and one thing only - the War on Terror. Whether or not you agree with his stance is another matter. That, and all its various global consequences, is what he'll be remembered in the History books for. Foreign policy.

It's a cliché, but it's a huge leap. Just face it, at 13, you ain't ready, and if there are girls out there in your area looking for sex at 13, then you don't wanna get involved with them.

How exactly do you go about that when you're poor and struggling to make ends meet? It's not like you can just make a business for yourself in the current economic climate where you can't even get a mortgage, nevermind a loan to sustain a small business. There is a problem with unemployment and poverty, and it boils down to more than "laziness", especially in an economic climate where jobs are drying up like no one's business. Will you just step out of your ivory towers and start talking about other people with the respect they deserve as fellow human beings?
