Back when i had your combat levels, i trained on Hobgoblins behind crafting guild lol. I got from 60-70 in all 3 ov my combat skills. Sounds newbish but i found it quite fast xp :-k

Well as i am only 50 slayer (And dnt intend to raise it sooner), it will.... annoy me? If it is the case, I'll raise slayer after i get 80 Range.

Can anyone confirm that you now need 55 slayer to be able to fire them. I KNOW that you need 55 to fire the broad ARROWS, but I've been told you now need 55 slayer to fire the bolts now. Anyone confirm?

I believe hunter is also profitable, with redchins. But as they are always crowded as i presume, maybe not as profitable as use to be. If still correct, the level to do red chisn to 99 will get you around 30M, and APPARENTLY it does't take to long to get there (I've heard less than a month) No pressure, dnt really get bored to, but it's the competition which would probably slow you down. And they say you could either sell the red chins, or use them to 99 range.

In 'my' opinion, if you want a profitable 99, then Hunter. Altho red chin hunting is harder now, as everyone does it, from the required level to 99, i BELIEVE is enough to get you to 99 range or you could sell em for around 30M+ But as everyone does it now, I'm not sure thats the case anymore :-k

Firemaking is the cheapest and fastest 99. I've heard its below 5M with maples, not sure ov exact price. But i can assure you, it's very tedious. Why not work slowly towards 99 with a skill you ENJOY?

When ranging. I've seen alot of high levelled people at Yaks, doing defence? Maybe you could try yaks, but they don't drop anything... SO..... why not try Fire Giants or something simple like Lessers?? I don't know really, i havn't trained combat in a while, but i guess Fire Giants are a good thing to train on :D

Set up at Yaks: (Below level 70) Robin > Archers Helm > Snakeskin Bandana Fury ammy > Glory ammy > Power Ammy Ava's Accumulater > Ava's Attractor Red d'hide (Chaps, top and vambs) Archers Ring > Any ring Ranger boots > Snakeskin Boots Bronze Knives (I recommend around 15k)

Yaks DEFO! I just got 70 range this week.. well.. i got 72 range now lol IO went frm 64-72 at yaks within LESS than a week. And i think i got 68-71 in a day at yaks.

Haha, well said ;) Yea basically, range is only weak against melee!

I would personally do controlled, as all 3 of my melee skills are the EXACT same xp, hence why i use controlled. Although painfully slow (Training 3 levels at once, so you'll need to spend 3 times longer there), it will increase your combat faster most likely.

Black ele' top and legs. Thats what i recommend. If not legs, go with flared trousers.

+1 - As i said earlier, i got all my books before the ge, just a little above the price you said. Whether or not it will everg et down to that price again is a question for Jagex haha

I feel that alot of clue rewards have been... quite a dissapointment. Looking at where the animal masks are on the tier's of clue rewards, they are level 2. So i decided to try get a few clues from guards. I managed to get one in my first few kills and i got the loot within 4 continuous clues. My luck? Adamant longword and 64 deaths. I try again, get another clue, this one slightly longer, had to go to 8 different locations, me thinking the logner the better. Nope. Adamant legs and 14 mind runes. I think that alot of rewards in all rewards sections are hard to get. The best thing I've gotten from a clue is 3A Vambs, and that was pure luck. The second best is probably Rune legs... The fact that animal masks and god pages never bloody coem up now is what i really think the high demand in these items. But these items, merchants/junktraders take advantage of and seem to scam people out of there money because there so little of them, and in very high demand. Now whether or not Jagex will sort that out is not in our hands, but if they don't sooner or later then these items will hit ridiculous price tags that the more that come available, probably the more thna will be sold for stupi prices. Anyway, thats my opinion haha...

Forum price for cat mask = 45M????? Thats the roguh estimate i have found in ALOT ov topics. I got wrong with a aniaml set is a godsword, its more like 2 godsword's.... Doesn't this make more people want to do clues and hoping for a mask/page?? Atm, it seems that people wuld be more happy getting a mask than a Third Age item....

I looked in the forums earlier, and what the hell?! People are offering 3M a Zammy PAGE in junk trading?? And with animal masks, i don't know. What I've heard, there in the double figure millions. Doing yews for more than 1M experience will take a hell of a long time, but give you alot of money.... Although you say Willows are boring, thats your best bet, as i don't approve of the tedious dropping of teaks. :roll: We're talking.. say... 6850 ISH yews to get to your 99, so that, at lowest in ge price, would be only 2.7M. Now.. if you are willing to cut that many, then please do so, as 2.7M in anyones bank is good, but... there are much quicker ways to get that money than cutting yews. If i was you, i would do willows, think... you wont have to cut another log again. (Well.. if you like gettign your own suppleis for firemaking and fletching... then thats an exceptionhaha)

Id recommened anything like this: Neitz Helm > Warrior Helm > D med Fury > Glory Fighter Torso > Granite Plate > Rune plate Skill cape > Obby cape > Team cape Rune defender > Obby Shield Dragon Legs/Skirt > Rune legs Dragon boots > Rune boots > Addy etc.... Abby whip > D scimmy > D long RFD Gloves > Combat Bracelet Warrior Ring > Wealth Obv some like Fury and skill cape are somethign tht is far reach from you, but i put them there anyway. Thats roughly what you should get, whip + Defender = Ownage.
