Is there a qay to set my desktop background to change periodically? i.e different one every time i start the computer.

abit of everything, internet browsing, school work. The most strenuous game I'ld like to play is the latest command and conquer and if possible maybe give WOW a shot though I'm not too fussed with that.

I know you get much more for your money with a desktop but i need the portability a laptop offers. My budget is £400-450. My step-dads after an ipod touch for christmas as a gift from my mum but she's abit put of by the price. I know apple has a tendency to up the price on their products that essentially the same as others. My question is are there cheaper alternatives to the Ipod touch with basically the same features?

GCSE = "general certificate of secondary education" i believe. Get my a/s results in a couple hours, hope all the second years got what they needed for uni.

How hard is it to put more ram into my laptop? would i, a novice, be able to do it without fear of screwing up the system or should i take it into a shop?

You sell 28 at a time, and you can probably do about 3 trips per minute. 28 x 3 = 84 per minute It really is quick to sell, I wait until I've got 100-200 and then it takes about 5 mins to get to Grand Tree, sell them, and then come back. using a more conservative estimate [2 trips a monute] that's about 895k every 18 minutes - that's pretty damn awesome! someone please correct me if i'm wrong 'cause that does seem like alot to me.

i'm guessing you'll be hunting chicnhompas? if so no chance of it in 2 weeks - it'll be closer to 4. 6 if you don't play so much. if you train on salamanders it's possible in two weeks but would involve not sleeping very much at all/
