your hp could be higher than that. i have an account 58 range 57 magic and 1 everything else. my hp is 51 already. you might want to get higher attack. pulling out a r2h and hitting low when they have next to no hp could be extremely annoying, especially if you both have low hp and you get killed in the next hit?

one time someone tried a 'im a jagex mod, give me ur pass and ill give u a phat' or whatever i played along, pretending i was also a jagex mod, acting like i knew him 'oh your john arent you?' 'yeah' 'hows the kids?' 'huh?' 'your kids, steven and ellen' 'what?' etc then i told him i could do the same 'hack' as him since im a mod to. then he asked me to do it on his account. Lol no, banker killing was back in classic. A bug that let AR users attack and kill bankers. Bankers used to be npcs walking around in the bank, instead of bankbooths like rs has now. But being able to open your bank anywhere is possible, just very detectable.

Yeah i guess, when i posted it i was going by the fact that 99% of the people here think of hacking as what they see in the movies, when that kind of stuff can really only be done by people who REALLY know what they are doing. I guess you could call what was done a basic hack Sort of like when jagex first updated their new game engine, some members experienced health being taken away in splashes until they died. They claimed it was a bug. I guess they "forgot" to mention that the players in concern got messages along the lines of "ha ha im killing you" Either they forgot, or they just didn't want to admit that some kids hacked their shiny new game engine in a couple days, after they spent 6 months on it

For all the people saying "Stop complaining just pay for membership" Jagex is a huge company earning heaps. Chances are the owners make more money than anyone here will ever see. A little update in f2p wont hurt them. This is like when they took off f2p classic. They used to be about making a good game. Now that more people play it they spend all their energy on putting out more p2p stuff every month to rake in even more money. I highly doubt jagex will release another f2p skill, they prefer money rather than a good game.

he accidently found a bug in POHs that let him attack anyone anywhere, and thats exactly what he did.

um, it depends on your range level. im a non member so i wouldnt know about good members range training spots. But i know for sure the fastest and most cost effective way to train range in f2p is the following: 1-36 train on rats in varrok sewer, theres level 1,3 and 6 rats here 36-50 train at barbarians village, using the tables as cover 50-70 at guards 70-80, if you have def and decent hp then maybe giants Dunno what to train on after that, you could keep at guards/giants or switch to lessers or something

This didnt look like the right spot to post this, but it was the closest to it. Macroing is now pretty big, i mean at any one time i wouldnt be surprised if the macroers are in the thousands. The only way they are going to get banned is if they get reported. Maybe we can get a new section in, and have guides about how to tell if someone is autoing other than the "jim46, say something or ill report you", and reporting the level 3s. Because there are more autoers than people think, using high level accounts, and they get away with it. I know i could post guides there, i know heaps about macroing, the different types and exactly how they work, whats possible and whats not etc. being an ex autoer (classic, had all my accounts banned though eventually) i talk to a lot of cheaters/programmers. and i have also made a macro for a school assignment months back. (before i get flamed, id just like to say i never distributed it, and the only time i actually used it was on a level 3 for roughly 5-10 mins. I havnt logged into the account since) I could also post guides about the stuff like banker killing, and the history of cheating just for people interested. Basically its a 'know your enemy to fight it' idea It would also provide a place for people to talk about it, because i have noticed a few topics with extremely similar things in it.

(for the less intelligent here, it wasnt 'hacking' hacking rs is impossible. All it was, was a loophole in the server. which is just something that jagex either didnt notise, or didnt think anyone would figure it out (they got caught offguard with deob bots,- modified versions of the client) nope, the created phats were EXACTLY like normal ones. the only way to find out was the obvious- look for accounts with heaps of them, and also looking through game logs for the ar packet used.

once you have formatted a hard drive, its wiped clean. everything on it is gone. But people like police techs can probably get some info back, something along the lines of taking it apart, doing something with it. plugging it in as a secondary hard drive and running some stuff over it.

yeh get a rune weapon, either 2h+skimmy for pking. or if not get either a skimmy or battle. then get a piece of rune armor. either legs or kite.

Merching, people buy rune sets seperately and sell them for 200k to make a profit. some people buy rune as a set to save time.

rune skimmy and full addy. you should have around 20k left after that.

So then there was like 20 people who knew to do it, and basically everyone else knew about it, but just couldnt do it.

I know exactly how they did it, i was around at the time to. autorune was a deob bot. deob bots are basically a modified version of the rs client, made to run scripts. theses scripts tell the bot what messages to send to the server. Because of this, you can send any message to the server you want. (this is how attacking bankers happened) Now sixfeetunder was playing around with autorune, he used it to send a 'trade 0 phats' message to the server, which got fooled into thinking there was a phat up. so really it wasnt duping. it was item creation.

hp is way too low. you would probably own impures, but get owned by pures. Get your strength or magic up to gain some hp. my level 40 has 50 hp ffs

train your range on level 6 rats in varrok sewer until level 36, then go to barbarians until level 50. After that train on guards. With the magic, use fire bolt on guards. Thats the quickest and most cost effective way in f2p, no idea about members, never been one.

knights of the old republic, i have both of them. Easily 2 of the best rpgs ive ever played.

I pk because i enjoy it. Its lots more fun than clicking monsters, rocks or whatever. If runescape didnt have pking then i would have quit long ago. But rs2 pking really is nothing compared to classic pking. classic pking was the best. What i like to call "the good old days" classic pking was such a rush, with the 3 hit rule, catching etc. If anyone else here pked in classic then i know you will agree there was nothing like it. At first i hated rs2 pking, because it takes a much lower skill to pk in rs2. but now ive grown to like it, and get a small thrill from it. Also, pking is so much more intelligent then clicking giants or fishing spots or whatever. I just dont see why people like training skills when its just brainless clicking.
