Hi. I am speaking from experience; I recently got 85 mining, and I have always been F2P. The best mining experience in F2P is iron. If you want to bank it, the best place is in the dwarven mine / resource dungeon with the deposit box. If you want to power-mine, there are various options. To break up the monotony in my mining training I usually grab available mith and addy ores as they spawn. Obviously this slows things down but it is a nice break. Good luck with your goal!

Hi all, Today I decided to try some of the higher level graphics options. I've never used them before because my computer is an ancient laptop from my school's robotics club. To my surprise, they ran smoothly. There's only one problem - weird artifacts appear on certain textures and in the water in the game. Is this a bug other people are experiencing? Or is it my lack of a real graphics card? Here's a screenie: Thanks!

nice stats. Dont give up, cuz u gotta get to 1k! I would suggest getting mining smithing and rc up. Combat too, unless u want to stay low like that.

My only suggestion is to go for 1337 total! :lol:

Just to point out, you don't need to do this anymore because of the assist system... so I see your point about the gifts, but there is no need to complain about anything else.

I think the same thing happened to me, because yesterday after I played for a while, the ad changed and all of a sudden Spybot search and destroy went crazy. I closed everything and ran Norton Antivirus scan and it came up with four trojans, but they must have been old news cuz it isolated them all without a problem.

Amazing job so far, I love the fountain expecially, but there are two things I see: 1. The alch spell itself seems really rigid around the edges; I think it needs to be larger and more faded away. 2. The bank's bricks are way too cubic and perfect(especially the near corner); remember that there's no laser-cut bricks in RS. EDIT: one more thing, the tree needs a shadow too.

That's quite an accomplishment. It's nice to see someone who actually keeps training after 85. Like someone said above, try Al Kharid, it's so much faster because you don't have to move to reach all three rocks.

Really nice. I have the same goal, but I'm only 913 total. And that is an amazing cash pile for f2p!

only 1 problem with the above post...They aren't stackable, so you have to buy 28 at a time. (only 27 if you carry all your cash at once instead of just enough to buy all 28) Stick with iron and coal, and whatever you do, don't merchant rares!

Definately get 85 smithing. After that you can easily start making the money back, just smelt rune bars for a fee or something.

Nothing special, but it works for me. (Oh, I always have the weapon slot filled but that depends on what I'm doing) For some reason I have a mind tiara on here, normally I have air.

That's a pretty extreme goal :shock: , I mean 207k more gold isn't going to be easy just to mine, let alone smelt and craft. But good luck anyways :mrgreen:

Sorry for being negative, but there is absolutely no way you will make it in 50 days, even if it was possible to smelt 6k bars a day. It's just not gonna happen. Set a smaller goal, like being able to smelt full mithril or something.

Great guide, well written and thought out. The only real problem is that it is hard to find buyers for 20ea. So you might have to mine your own ess until 66 (which is a long, long time.) But otherwise very nice.

They wouldn't let us become a rabbit, because that would lead (once again) to the glitch that opened with Castle Wars. Namely, people would hop around the wilderness as a rabbit, and nobody could attack them but they could attack others. I'm pretty sure if they did this they would make sure not to make the the same mistake twice...

This is a great idea and I totally support, but there is one problem: it would be unimaginably hard to code. But who cares? Great idea!
