  1. If any of you have visited RSOF forums or even any popular smelting/smithing place, you probably know that many people are angry at Jagex for making such "high" lvl requirements for "Rocking out". I myself, am training my smtihing from 68 to 69 so i can retrieve me quest cape from that my bank (who knows what the bankers do with ure stuff when ure not there :? ) So after I finish this new quest, I plan on wearing my quest cape proudly and doing my emote every other minute on f2p worlds but I feel like I'm missing out. Why can't I get that lovely trim on my cape and +4 prayer bonus? Are quests noobier than clicking 500 million times to get 99 cooking and fletching? But of course many will say that quests require lower skill requirements. I'm sure that if you added up all the experience needed for every skill for every quest, the amount would be pretty decent. Besides thats not what quests are about, theyre about puzzles, bosses, gathering required items(used to take a while before GE) and other stuff. So I think either we need to allow the quest cape to be trimmed like any other cape, getting an extra cape. The question lies here, should quest capes be trimmable? And if so should it be trimmable via a 99 cape or should a new achievement cape be introduced...say minigame cape, achievement diary cape or w/e.
  2. Yes, please tell me who actually BUYS these, so I can kill myself to get 83 Hunter for a not-so-guranteed sale. Well seeing as the price went down 4% in the last week and up like 14% in the last 30 days, it must be selling :P . Unsellable items dont change in price
  3. hmm Jagex isnt very good at hiding stuff...9mm revolver anyone? but yea I'm crosssing my figners that it's better than ape atoll course.
  4. Or u can make 1mil per hour catching d imps... That's completely random. Dragon arrowheads aren't exactly common, and Dragon Darts aren't worth a lot anyways. Dragon Implings, that's leaving it to the Higher Ups and your hidden "Luck skill". While chinchompas are viturely guranteed money... Actually dragon implings are sold on ge for 540k each so if you want guaranteed money, you can still make 1mil an hour even without the fabled "luck skill".
  5. People forget about the light sources. No firemaking = no lanturn = painful, horrible death in places like Scarab dungeon or Lumbridge caves. Skill I could live without? Hm...tough one. Skills are all inter-locked together... Might have to say Fishing, since it's (although fast-ish), some pure Cooking items are better than most fish (Manta Ray = painfully hard to get, while Tuna potatoes are easy-ish to make, and, well, they're potatoes...) I also predict that someone in the next Ten (10) posts will say Farming. Let's not forget about Shades of Mort'ton either! It's one of the main ways I make my money. VERY profitable at 85 firemaking, and is crazy prayer XP. As for a skill I could live without, I'd say hunter. I rarely use it, and only trained it ONCE for a quest. I just find it boring and slow and for the most part useless. But the same could be said for almost any other skill. How can you say that about hunter D: I love catching little implings :D But I personally havent dont Shades of Morton that much, is it really good money/exp?

I also predict that someone in the next Ten (10) posts will say Farming. I'm pretty sure the light source could easily be taken care of with...say magic perhaps? or crafting? However the chewed bones drop is pretty rare as I have killed over 100 mith dragons with about 5 chewed bones drops and crap from every single one >.<
  7. shh dont say that, I make so much money from pyramid plunder  oh btw chewed bones are a rare drop FROM Mithril Dragons. :P
  8. After getting my 4th pharoah's sceptre from pyramid plunder in just 2 days, I decided to go do a money burning skill and was debating between firemaking, prayer or construction. And then I felt stupid for even considering firemaking...I mean what point does it even have? Did you know that burning a magic log has no benefit over burning a normal log?(other than getting more exp). That's right, maybe you hoped that your magic log's fire would last longer? Too bad, the time a fire lasts is random. It doesnt matter what your fm lvl is or what log you're using. I have 72 firemaking on my character and I really see no point in it. So far I've used firemaking to....oh nothing, the only reason i even ever leveled it was first to get the reqs for some quests. Oh and then I used it for shade burning and balloon traveling.. but that's all..the basis of the skill (firemaking) is totally useless. Many have brought up points about hunter, etc but at least they still have reasons to train >.> However, firemaking isnt the only skill people could live without... so my question is, what skill could you live without? Please explain at least a little as to why that skill does not affect the majority of your playing and why it would not be a great loss. Also suggest alternatives to anything that is lost, for example if firemaking was gone they could add more ranges. ...and here are the results! THE TOP 5 Firemaking:84<-- i knew it would be first :P Hunter:28 Fletching:17 Farming:17 Summoning:15 Thieving:13 Construction:12 Mining:11 Smithing:10 Agility:10 Slayer:9 Strength:7 Prayer:6 Herblore:5 Crafting:5 Runecrafting:5 Range:5 Woodcutting:4 Fishing:3 Cooking:3 Disclaimer:I understand that no skills would ever be taken out as many people with those shiny orange capes might quit Runescape as their valuable time was wasted :P. This is a purely theoretical thread.
  9. Wow! Roleplay as argument. I give up! Obviously me and my familiar live in the same body permanently. I don't know where people get that "pouch" idea from :?: Oh wow, reading that I just realized that my idea of combat is simple minded and that I honestly dont realize theres more to combat than offence! Omg, I just noticed theres a defence level in melee! Thanks, it would have taken me atleast 3 more years to realize that without your help! Says who? Oh wait, right, you are God overlord Outsanity? Wow, I better watch out or Im going to get struck by lightning. :ohnoes: A maxed player with a steel titan beats a maxed player without a steel titan. Summoning affects combat. true dat =D> yea summoning haters need to go train it, theyll prolly like it
  10. well question answered already but i find it funy that a lvl 89 rcer doesnt know where an altar is :D
  11. lol after reading all the replies it seems like i just met a random noob :D. But really so far the only familiar ive used that much is my terrorbird and im lvl 55 summoning.
  12. Noooooooooo it logged me out while me and 2 other ppl were killing kq!!! i hope my ring of life works!!!!
  13. Just yesterday I decided to go to Castle Wars because imo its the funnest thing to do in runescape and its fun to freeze people with ancients and see *** *** ****. So this lvl 74 keeps coming into our base and I keep killing him.(im lvl 114) After the 3rd or 4th time I get bored and go to their base to get the flag. On the way there, I kill the 74 again :D. Anyway after the game the guy pms me and starts saying stuff like omg ure such a noob ure only lvl 114 because of summoning, my main is lvl 110 for real. Youre only lvl 107. You only got summoning to get more cb lvls, etc,etc So I just tell him that summoning is a skill just like any other albeit more expensive and harder than alot of others and i block him. Then later on tip.it.forums there are people who's sigs say 120 for real, 1 summoning ftw, etc, etc. So my question is why summoning is looked down upon when i think it's actually a lot harder than lots of skills and helps in many other skills (i love my terrorbird :D). I mean couldnt people have the same argument with prayer?
  14. 10/10 But now you made me feel bad =[
  15. I've had this account for about 18 months now and retired about 4 months ago(Beginning of February). I have been member for 3 months (I spent most of the 3 months getting a quest cape though). Anyway I don't play at all anymore now but I just felt like organizing my bank and I think I did a pretty good job. So rate pl0x but not only on whats inside the bank but also the organization. Edit: I have also added a pic of my stats and now you can rate those too  . As for my stats I have officially retired from Runescape the day my third (not in a row) membership ran out and that was around the time the Cold War quest was released(4 months ago). P.S. Each pic has one row of the pic before it and after. This is only to keep track of my pictures. And 234 QP Rate Nao! 8-)
