Understandable, since you're unranked. :roll: If you can't even try the fruits of summoning (or hell, even see some pictures of what familiars can do for people [monster hunting for instance]) you shouldn't make a comment like that :thumbdown: There are already 1,000,000 people with 63 summoning? (I'm ranked 25,642, at the moment, and am getting 6 levels today, oddly enough.) Summoning has it's good points, but it's in no way worth the effort if it was put forth independently. I train it to shut people up about it, but I hate it. Sure, a bunyip is quite useful, but is that worth the hours and hours of charm hunting, and money gathering time that it requires? Not to mention the annoying frustrations of the time limit and such once you DO have 68 summoning. I was happy enough before, and I barely ever use it for anything but adding some more levels to my total. Summoning is a tacked on, hyped up skill, that's not worth it's salt. I'd like to see one familiar that on it's own can make back the cash lost making it, without spending a month collecting egg spawn eggs. There are 3 widely used summons. Bunyips, unicorns, and ). The War Tortoise sure is nice for armadyl soloing, but it'd take a hell of a lot of effort to make back the couple mil sunk into getting that level. And if you do, say, get an Armadyl Helm solo, it's not like the Tortoise did it on it's own. I think he means the person you quoted ;)

Ahh, I'm back to discuss(rant?) about another common insult that is kinda baseless. Why is it that many people are like omg nub you're 115 cb and you're total is only 1732. And then people will praise someone if they have (insert high total) and (insert low combat). Why should your total level be compared to combat :wall:? Some people like to do combat and not really noncombat skills(especially useless ones like fm which are only used to bring up totals :wall: ). Some people like to level up non-combat skills and not do much fighting. Why should either be better than the other? Discuss :

Yea I get your point, many avid PCers are angry about summoning because it makes more "low lvls" come into the 100+ boat. I understand their frustration as summoning is not allowed in pc and it messes up the whole way you look at peoples levels.

thats my view, i reckon when about 5 achievement diaries are out they'll add an extra cape, more of an incentive for people to do it, though as somebody else said, would capes untrim themselves once other things have been added? or just be toally unwearable? 5? :cry: that'll be at least another year

eh, if youre lvl 110+ I hope youre smart enough to not sue same pass on different places...but then again levels dont show intelligence. but imo this is a pretty bad way of scamming, if it is scamming. i think youre being kinda paranoid ;)

I used exp lamps, quest rewards for both herblore and summoning :0 I got 41 summoning without ever making a pouch(other than the one for wolf whistle).

I agree with fming and to some extent farming..but why is summoning getting such bad response? The questions is " What skill could you live without." A lot of people have played before summong came out and did just fine.. therefore being able to live without it. Lol you corrected me on my own question :oops: and yea youre right, many people feel that summoning is just a support skill, not a standalone skill and therefore being not that important.

No way. I'm fairly poor, with a bank worth of under 100m, but I would GLADLY pay 30k per crimson charm. I'm sure someone with more money then they know what to do with would jump at the chance to get 99 summoning in a few hours. Lol 30k a crimson charm? more like 5k >.< Do you have any idea how crowded waterfiends would be if crimson charms were 30k each? im thinking more like 30k a blue charm.

Yea 99 firemaking isnt the best goal. However slayer is pretty useful. The reason for slayer is so that everyone doesnt crowd one training spot thats supposedly the best. Slayer makes people move around and train at different places. and of course whips would be like 100k each w/o slayer o.o

I wouldnt even think about playing it. it would be a horrible game as whats the point of any achievements? i mean you can be like yay 99 in everything...now what.

Sorry I dont think Runescape is a good basis for comics. but then again thats just me.

But w/o woodcutting and fishing would your 99 cooking and fletching be possible? lol
