Pietying on tasks...
Piety drains 2 points per 3 seconds with 0 prayer bonus. Each prayer bonus boosts the time per drain by 3.3333333%. So 2/3 X (.03333333 X 8) = 0.177776 extra seconds\point plus the original 2/3 = .6667 seconds\point drain = 0.8445 seconds per point, 1 / .8445 = 1.184 points per second. Nice calc ;) I did iron dragons with piety and profited 10k + i did task super fast! Thats why i want to know which are worth to piety... EDIT: I don't cannon...I want attack xp, not slayer. All you need to do is learn to piety flash, but the profit\loss from a task doesn't have much to do with piety being worth it. What's your best money making method (I didn't want to have to run the calcs tonight, now your forcing me :x )?

How to Get 99 Strength?
Did I give slayer rates for 1 hour? Nope. Just like I didn't give my Zombie rates for 1 whip hit. What I did give them for is hundreds of whip hits and hundreds of hours of slayer - where probability and statistics will balance out, and allow us to predict the most likely outcome. In this case, the sample range is large enough that the most likely outcome can be predicted very precisely.

Pietying on tasks...
Chivalry is precisely the same drain rate (2 points\3 seconds) for much less of a stat boost. How is it better? :-# Oh, is it an inefficiency club thing? :-X

How to Get 99 Strength?
Exactly the lineup of tasks? Here's a hint, if the tasks are evenly distributed and a million people get 100 tasks each, guess what? Each task is going to get the same number of people, accurate to +\- .000005% (using statistical variance with 5% chance of receiving one of 20 tasks, multiplied out over 100,000,000 tasks.) It's quite simple, it's exactly the same as calculating XP for an individual monster. Each swing of the whip won't get you the same XP, but if you take 1 million whip swings, you get a precise average that will be extremely close to the XP you will get over the next 1 million whip swings with variables standardized.

How to Get 99 Strength?
You most certainly can. Just as you can figure out the XP rates for Armored Zombies, you can average the XP rates for tasks. If all the tasks get between 40-80k XP, your not going to suddenly get 150k XP. And if, say, 5 tasks average: 40k XP, 0 profit 50k XP, 10k profit 60k XP, 20k profit 70k XP, 30k profit 80k XP, 40k profit , And you do each of those tasks 50 times, guess what your going to end up with? 60k XP and 20k profit. Not 90k XP and 50k profit, not 30k XP and -10k profit. It's very simple and predictable.

Stealing Creation Rant
The only people who are stuipd is the people who keep all their runes in their inventory, I leave around 300 in invo and the rest in my summon where they can't be touched. I've maged in around 50 games, been pickpocketed many times. Pickpocketers get around 2 trys for my 2 sets of runes out of 28 items before they're frozen, and that's only for the lucky people who get within pickpocketing range.

RS Died one year ago today
Gotcha. so being teamed up on by a half dozen people is not bullying. Really, is there anything more pathetic than 6-12 members attacking ONE person? Nope, the multi areas were designed to give teams the advantage, giving clans a place to PK, and as a bad spot for a singe player to be. For that matter, attacking and killing another person is 'bullying' - your beating them to obtain your stuff.

Pietying on tasks...
It has little to to do with how much the task earns, as most slayer tasks don't offer a large profit - it depends on how much XP you get from the task (and thusly, how much extra XP piety will get you). I don't have the exact figures to run calculations, but it hinges on how much money you can make; I believe that using the standard Avansie numbers outputs it to Bloodvields\Abyssal Demons\Spiritual Mages being worth it.

BTP works fine with a granite shield, the loss is tiny in either method. Bunyip handily solves the problem, making BTP much rarer and easier.

How to Get 99 Strength?
Point by point. Extreme training, to me, is training a specific skill for dozens of hours at a time. Armored zombies are something I do for an hour or two every now and then, as it is very close to a bank and quick to get into\get out of. Slayer requires a minimum of 150 or so kills for most tasks, meaning your not leaving until then. Slayer also requires much more overall hours, making for significantly more time spent training. Your theory: 600 hours at 1 spot = less of a life then 1,000 hours at a couple of spots The only problem with it is that many people, including me, only train for short period of time at Zombies - less time then I feel obligated and end up training slayer just to finish a task, then just to see what the next one is, then just to get the points for it, and so forth and so on. Slayer is 65k melee XP\120k profit, varying somewhat, but never exceeding 100k XP\hour. Armored zombies is an almost exact 103k XP\hour, with profit swinging somewhat but averaging 190k\hour. It's very clear cut. Training method A: killing green colored monsters for 103k XP\190k profit, but having to endure the knowledge of being 'efficient'. Training method B: killing white colored monsters for 60k XP\0 profit, secure and happy in the knowledge that you are not training efficiently. In comparison to whip vs. chicken: Training method A: Using a dark colored weapon for 103k XP\190k profit, but having to endure the knowledge of being 'efficient'. Training method B: Using a thicker, light colored weapon for 30k XP\55k profit, secure and happy in the knowledge that you are not training efficiently. A nice, fairly well fitting analogy; the chicken is getting less XP but more cash then bandits, albeit slightly exaggerated; it was, however, simply a metaphor to get my point across. It might have been better served by a rune scimitar instead of a chicken, which fits it even better.

Here's the entirety of my first post. Could you please point me in the direction of my 'complaining about how people do it' and 'posting saying this is wrong'? I'm really interested, I was of the opinion (har har) that tested XP rates were facts. I responded to your thread as a whole, then broke it down into points to debate each one individually. It's slightly interesting how you whine about how terribly I'm misunderstanding you without ever quite pointing out where and what I'm misunderstanding you about. Oh, you know, perhaps your statements about how untrustworthy I am for training slayer after saying it's bad XP, and that I shouldn't be allowed to post numbers because of it, despite me discussing exactly that in extreme detail round about page 15 of my thread. Here's the statistics I used for my Void calculations: 15% increased attack\strength equivocating to 13% XP boost at Avansies, as determined through around 20 hours of testing. 109 PC points per hour, having played 3,000 games at the old PC and an additional 1,400 games at the old PC, aside from obvious stats such as game length. 11.5m XP from 77-99 range Let me know which of those statistics you wish to debate. Further whining about how I made up all of my statistics without any actual discussion of them will be ignored.

How to Get 99 Strength?
What, pray tell, is extreme training? Training at a couple of different monsters for 1,000 hours (to make a point) for a 99 Training at a monster for 600 hours for a 99. Which of these is more of a 'no life'? Which of these is longer and harder? Which of these is more 'extreme'? Fighting at a spot inferior in every way just because it's 'inefficient' is precisely the same as fighting with a rubber chicken instead of a whip. Both are using inferior training methods just for the purpose of proclaiming how much one enjoys being 'inefficient'.

Tests have show void to boost max hit by around 15%, feel free to check it out yourself. Yes, I made up all those funky statistics about level 99 being roughly 13m XP and level 77 around 1.5 million. It's all lies, level 99 is 2m XP and level 77 is 13m. I'm just trying to misinform the RS population  Side note: I love how you use 'look like a tard' as an argument about XP, albeit one that you have clearly lost. It's obvious you haven't even read the first page of my thread, as you would have realized that Slayer is one of my favorite skills and I love training it. Actually, 60 / 1.13 = 53 pairs of dragon boots, leaving me 7 boots and 1.9m poorer. Yep, slayer is bad XP. Fight pits is bad XP. I enjoy both of them and do both of them regularly. That has nothing to do with my trustworthiness, for me XP does not correlate to in game enjoyment.

How to Get 99 Strength?
I love training various ways. But that's not what the OP asked. He didn't ask for 'what you think is the most enjoyable way to get 99 strength irregardless of XP'. What he asked for is methods that will get you good XP. I'm not telling him to go anywhere, simply stating that he'll spend twice as long at other places like Bandits. Now, on to your other points #1, 'unefficency club'. Does that mean intentionally doing things in order to obtain less XP for no logical reason, like fighting with a rubber chicken instead of a whip? That's what your arguing #2, 'playing the game it's meant to be played'. You still haven't answered. So you don't train at armored zombies because you think Jagex intended them for scenery instead of training?

77 range is fine, obviously you won't obtained the XP\cash I listed, but it'll all scale down. You'll do fine there with a tank outfit, you can save the money for 85-90 range before you start doing chins.

Looking for Range advice - 77 to 99 -
What's the problem with training slayer after a thread about how slayer is bad XP? I freely admit that fight pits is bad XP. I know plenty of people who would tell you fight pits is bad XP. Yet those same people play it. Does that mean they can't state facts? For what it's worth, how would you know what the 31 pages contains? You've never even read it. Anyway, we'll do mathematics - 77-99 range = 11.5m XP, 11.5m X .13 = 1,495,000 XP = 10.5 hours @ 140k XP w\o void. Void range @ 2.2 minute games w\ losses = 109 points per hour. Full void range = 850 points / 109 = 7.8 hours = 2.7 hours saved + much better earning potential for avansies\spirit mages (60 dragon boots obtained with void by me) after 99. Anything else?

How to Get 99 Strength?
And what great things, pray tell, does training slayer on slightly different colored NPC models for much less XP and far less cash get you, besides large piles of cash in a shorter amount of time? Unefficiency club. Play the game how its meant to be played. Making money from skills. And btw I was talking about bandits. And slayer > armoured zombies anyway. You still haven't answered. So earning twice the money and far more XP from killing Armored Zombies instead of killing the slayer monsters isn't 'playing the game how its meant to be played'? Bandits? That's camping\power training, my friend. The only difference is that bandits are 60k XP\0 profit\0 charms instead of 103k XP\190k profit\22 crimson worth per hour.
