Sounds like a potentially faulty part, but it could also be caused by underdriven memory. I've had weird things like flashy colors and random freezeups from it. Try upping the voltage to 2.4 through the setup MB.

No, but visiting a page can give a hacker a direct link to your computer making it easier to attack and bypass securites measures and implant an key logger (this is based on the theory the webpage is directly set up for hacking). Err, he'll get your IP address and not much else. That'll let him try to run some port scanners and crack your windows password, but even with the default windows config a patched system won't let him do anything. Your not going to get keylogged from visiting a web page, obviously he did something stupid like downloading a virus without antivirus software or entering his password somewhere he shouldn't.

Even if RWT was not a problem, Jagex most likely would have (more gradually) phased out old style pking and replaced it with the newer system or another entirely different one just as they planned.~ 2. Of course, that's not to say that Jagex has no superior in the game. Unless you can mathematically or logically (through syllogisms and concrete postulates) prove Jagex to be wrong, we have to accept that Jagex is correct in their actions. It's all in the terms and conditions (doesn't anyone read it? #-o ) It's very simple. Jagex did what they could to milk money out of runescape for as long as possible. Getting rid of credit card payments would result in a drastic loss of membership fees. So they went the smart route and implemented tons of great changes that IMPROVED the game. Jagex is a buisness. Like every other business, they have a single goal: TO MAKE MONEY.

DD++ spec requires the same quest and is cheaper then the d long yet far outdoes it. End of argument. Actually, I've compared about 10 time to date, D long won everytime. I was using the specs of both weapons in the testing. Do you train using specs constantly? No? Then you didn't test it very accurately. You've probably got some POST troubleshooting to do. I had a similar problem with one of my builds using ram somewhat similar to yours; my OCZ Reapers needed a lot of juce, and the MB couldn't provide it unless I upped the voltages. I had to buy a cheap stick of ram to get it to boot into setup, then amped up the voltages to 2.4 so my Reapers could power up.

RWT is at fault for the price controls, but they virtually never bother me. The GE is one of the best updates in the history of RS, even with margins.

Assuming the average web page is 150 KB, it's going to have downloaded in less then .25 seconds on a 5 MB\s connection; it's mostly up to your browser render after that. I've got all the whistles and bells on the latest version of minefield, so I get a faster load then any other computer I've ever used, including ones with FAR faster connections. File downloads are another story, though.

One itty-bitty problem: it requires admin access to run that. Might as well add a hidden account with the GUI. That failing, it's extremely easy to use a boot CD to create your own admin account\change passwords, or get the hash and run it through something like John the Ripper. A few milseconds to a few days will crack virtually any short-medium length password.

Gimme a break. Booting into safe mood is something my 8 year old cousin can do. Geekiness is setting up an Apache server to run a SSH https tunnel to your home network, then redirecting HTTP packets through the encrypted TCP stream, then programming a java window redirect to block screenshots so you can be sure of a secure connection over a wireless network. Oh, by the way, you can't delete the main admin account, and almost anyone who installs windows will set a default password on it. Sounds like a good thing to me. Here's a better filtering solution - a dedicated, cheap linux server that sits between the modem and the router filtering content, locked in a server rack, with a set secure password on the account.

That's nice but you should know ring of wealth is being neglected when using LootShare, it means it won't have affect on drop. So you might gotten those rares because of the ring most likely, but anyhow well done. I am just saying :thumbup: had to recount my trips its actually 20 but we dont use ring of wealth i use life as on death im gonna loose about 20m. only ever had a hilt solo. Cool well i recommend using ROW. Here's why, if your gonna go there risking your items (You are even with ring of life), then do it with a good chance of a rare than a low. I did 8 trips at Dagannoth rex with ring of life, i got only 1 warrior ring. With Ring of wealth i did around 5-8, and i earned 12m+ ;) Even earned 5.9m in 1 trip! I always use ring of life at dk's and on MOST trips I earn atleast 4M PROFIT. Best trip was 11,7M and it was also while using life ring. In my opinion your ring of wealth just got owned. 8-) Ring of wealth increases rare drop chances by about 5%. To see an accurate indication of that, you would have to get 5,000+ (250 drops affected by ROW) rare drops, or 320,000 rex kills. Or around 4,500 trips. So trumpeting a single or even a hundred tested trips simply makes you look ignorant; the drop is too rare to get a good indication in that small of a sample size.

WTF??? man if there are 2 skills that can be trained together it is slayer and combat... i havent posted on this 1 since mostly ur to good to have a discusion against and win it(mostly) :lol: but, if it isnt already brought forward, spiritual magers are great if u need a balance between good cash and decent(i didnt say good so dont use that as argument) and get good cash... my mate(99 str/att) can get an avarage of 2 dboots an hour. of course in term of powertraining its not fantastic, then zombies are much better(ive checked it and they r great even at my lvls...) I meant that a skill can't 'suck' for being bad xp in another skill, he just doesn't get that the combat xp is a 'bonus' for training slayer. And slayer xp isn't a 'bonus' for training combat (while doing slayer this is) And that is incorrect, as I am discussing training combat via slayer, as the majority of the suggestions on the H&A forum are.

Ok, but your going to do less damage and get less XP and drops. Most RS players would rather get faster XP\drops then hit more often and harder. its a phycalogical thing though, if it seems that i am doing very little damage i start waning to train less and less, but if i see myslef doing 30's i will be like "wow cool this is fun! i shold do it more" ...see my point Not really, a quick glance at the XP\hour will show that your getting significantly less XP, something that usually turns off most people. Yes, dds is far superior to d long. D claws is far better then them and significantly better then AGS, though. claws aren't that great, brunokiller can own people with his blitz/ags madness. I have seen plenty of specials to know that it is overrated. a cheap dds can easily do high damage. gmauls can do high damage. [/hide] I've done 16 hours with claws, or about 600 specs, and at least 8 times that with AGS. I've spent literally dozens of hours with blitz\ags spec combos. D claws are superior to AGS; they are more accurate, have a higher max (and thus a higher average hit), and hit twice as fast. But did you test them before, or after they were nerfed? Because their accuracy is not what it used to be when they came out. There is a reason people are trying to sell them with party hats to get rid of them you know.. On topic: Ignoring any weapons aside from the scim and long and negating specials, scim is going to be faster on a xp/hr, but PvP a long is going to be a better option. The dragon long special doesn't always do major damage, but when it does, it hurts. Ive seen them hit 40+ before, and they can prove to be useful in certain situations. Scim spec is ALMOST uselss in PvP, and PvP ko's are pretty much all about specials(Unless you have a godsword of course). Of course whip and dds reign supreme, but the OP didnt include those, so they arnt really part of the discussion. They have never been nerfed, and people have always been trying to sell them with p hats now that most junk\3rd age is used. I've tested about 50\50 before and after the 'nerf' doing hundreds of specs in various PVP areas. They haven't been nerfed.
