  1. I wish I could convince my friends to go trick or treating :(
  2. I don't think there are a lot of parties around here. And if I did go, I would be the guy who sits in the corner the whole time, and leaves early.
  3. :| Which sentence was that directed at?
  4. Paranoid: High Schizoid: Low Schizotypal: High Antisocial: Moderate Borderline: Very High Histrionic: Moderate Narcissistic: Moderate Avoidant: Very High Dependent: High Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate I didn't think I answered them that badly, but I didn't score very well on this.. There were a few questions I wasn't really sure about. For instance, the question about working with teams. I like working with teams, because then I don't have all the responsibility, but often I am unsatisfied with other people's work, and end up doing a lot of it myself anyway. But I answered that I do prefer to work with teams for that one. There were a few more like that.
  5. I just found out I will be attending an overnight LAN party on halloween. Thank Thor it is on a friday.
  6. Dude, where do you go to school? A 70 is passing mate. Maybe, but it's not very respectable. I wouldn't want a C-. I would work on that.
  7. Yeah, it's not a valid test at all.
  8. I don't think that that's a very good indicator of the general level of happiness here, mainly because most people won't answer these things honestly.
  9. [hide=Here you go.]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDQOpsm7ey4 [/hide]
  10. We call it skipping rocks in English, you've got it right. The worst I can think of right now is when I was about 7, I was really mad at my older brother (I can't remember why), so I went and played around with the tuning and strings on his bass. Turns out I really messed them up, and he had to get new strings. I can say though, that whenever I do things like that I feel bad about it for..10 years, as I still feel bad about that now.
  11. Really? I haven't seen the effects of this yet, as my city is one of the most affluent in the state, but I'm sure it will start soon. My worry at the moment is whether I'll be able to get loans from banks for college. Does anyone know the state of that? I was under the impression that banks don't make that much from college loans anyway, but if it's going to be a problem I would like to know.
  12. Can anyone tell me that formula for finding the daily intake of calories one would need to maintain their current weight? I've been running about 3 miles 3 times a week lately. It's probably not much compared to a lot of people here, but I'm happy with how it's going.
  13. I wore a sweatshirt and jeans to mine last night, but I was just setting up the lights/sound.
  14. I was wondering the same thing Ginger, but I don't have an answer for you. I think a little of it is racism, but most of it is just how they were brought up. Brought up to think that America is the best country in the world, and that liberals will bring it down; brought up to think anyone different from them is bad. Seeing that video you mentioned, and other ones like it just infuriate me. Also, I made another post here a few minutes ago, did it get deleted or something? It was responding to James saying that political debates will make people change their minds.
  15. Oh Fox news, you silly little thing, I despise you so much... Ever notice how the conservative people they bring onto the show are extremely loud, and never listen to the liberal people (who tend to be a lot more rational)?
  16. Saru, of course debating like this is useless in the long run, but it's still a good discussion. I've been reading the thread since page one, and learned new things about both candidates. Almost all political arguments are useless. Both sides come in knowing full well that nothing that is said will change their mind, and both sides ignore the negatives about their candidate.
  17. I might be mistaken, but don't you have something at Easter that's a little similar to the American version of Halloween? Like, kids dressing up as witches and hitting each other with sticks or something? I'm not sure what I'll do this year, I haven't gone trick-or-treating in about 4 years. Last year my friend and I hid behind bushes and jumped out at trick-or-treaters.
  18. Actually, you are born as a Muslim in certain countries, if your parents are Muslim too. It's put on your birth certificate.
  19. Well, I think Islam is misinterpreted a lot more than Christianity. It's not like people think of the Westboro Baptist Church when they think of Christianity.
  20. Islam is greatly misunderstood, it makes me so mad.
  21. Oh, you actually got in trouble for that? I'd love to see your principle at my school, he's get beat to death with Birkenstocks.
  22. I don't understand why everyone says that first timers won't feel anything. I would think they would generally feel a lot more, because of zero tolerance. I know my first time I was much more high than the other people, who had been smoking for a while.
  23. I think I'm missing something. What's bad about that?
