Hello again! I am currently ill and since I cannot do anything else(argh, I so hate being sick :S) I decided to try for the fire cape again; my mother went somewhere for two days(yaay!) and fother and brother were on ski jumping training. I was doing really good actually. Better than first time :) I only had to drink sara brew 2 times; once when I accidentally range protected instead mage and 360 hit me 30 something :P and the second time when jad came, just to get def bonus :D I faced jad for the first time today! I think I did pretty well, I didn't have much problems switching prayer since the animaton comes a lot before the actual attack :) He only hit me one time for about 20 but I quickly came back to routine. When he had just a bit more than half hp I accidentally clicked protection from ranged twice and BAM!! 75! And I was dead. But that didn't get me down! I will still try to get the cape. Actually I will try again tomorrow, since my father& brother are going to training again :D Before I go in again I will get 94 def, since I'm only 53k till level. I shall get that fast because i cheat(using Pest Control :S). Now, here are my stats: I only got one ranged level/with pest control -.-) since the last weekend as I wasn't on much :P If you want to giv me advice on my skills feel free to, but keep this fact in mind: I will not raise Construction, unless a blue Party hat falls from the sky! Ok, i might use Tears of Guthix to get some exp but otherwise not. This is my BANK. It is pretty messy and poor, but at least it is something ^^ Plus a picture from a "Dagganoth Kings trip" with my friend. He said that if you go directly to the safe spot the ranger won't hit you anymore. We went in, got to the spot, started maging rex, but something was hiting us hard. I looked what was and realised that it was the ranger :P We killed rex and my friend was quiet for some time, then he ran to pick the item and said: "Zerker!!!!!!" I have finally decided to go for the ultimate prize of the game; the nice glowing, moving Fire Cape :) And not that it's only beautiful, it has some good stats too. So I have been preparing for this thing for the last 2 weeks; I made Super Restores(got enough farming and herblore level and then I grew Snapdragons myself), got someone to make me Saradomin Brews, bought the equipment, trained my ranged a bit(well, just one level; from 83 to 84 ^-^), read a few Fight Caves guides, downloaded and watched Muggiwhplars' movies(thanks a lot dude, your guide owns :)) And today I finally felt ready(and had enough time) to go for it. In the morning I logged into world 2 and bought Veracs helm& skirt and Karils top, then i went directly to Tzhaar city. I prepared my inventory and everything and I was ready to go! Or maybe not. I actually remembered to go to the toilet and make myself something to eat and grab a glass of milk(\) :) I also did some things for my mohther and then I was really ready. I drank a dose of Ranging, Super Restore and Sara Brew pot and took full pots of of the bank and went in. The first 14 waves went without a problem, it went really good. I used prayer on 90s, sometimes I even forgot to turn it on, but they didn't hurt me at all! The next 16 waves were really refreshing as I could AFK for a bit while ranging 180s from safe spots and it really went great! They haven't even touched me! When 360s came, I had some problems. At first I forgot to turn on the prayer and in the matter of seconds I was left with 12 hp! I quickly turned the prayer on and drank a few Sara brews to heal and I was back to buissiness. Until wave 53 everything was fine, but then I had to deal with 360s, 180s AND 90s. I had some problems killing 90s while trying to get 180s somewhere where they couldn't get me. Used a few doses of Sara Brew here, but I wasn't near death. AT wave 58 my mother started to tell me to go off, that I have been on enough and I need to study. I said I'm almost at the end and I really was. Happily dealing with wave 59 when a note appeared in bottom left corner... System update!!! I went totally mad... Started swearing at computer and banging on the table. Was too slow to log out at the end of wave 59 and so I was furiously killing wave 60 to get to the end and I could continue after the update. When the last 180 was on like 10hp it logged me out... Now I have to wait for another week to face Jad at last, as I only have enough time on Saturdays... And why did they even do a system update on Saturday??? For a stinking world 126!!!! I spent two hours of my life for nothing and got a lousy world 126!!! That really pissed me off. I calmed down in a few minutes and thinking of revenge. Fight caves, I WILL come back and defeat your master TzTok-Jad! I will get the cape! One day. Here is what i got out from the chest :) I put 3M in it(at least i think) and i was left with 233k something. Sometimes i forgot about the island so approval rate got a bit low :P and this(+8 eggs) is what i got from the nests(164 nests in total): The herbs were: 125 tarromin 116 harralander 70 irit 63 avantoe 44 ranarr 41 kwuarm +some junk herb seeds could be better but it's fine with me. ^^

I like everything except the compass not having W for West and E for East. Now I have to think which way is what :P Eventuall everyone will get used to it or even like it :) I know I will. :boohoo:

Well, I hated farming a lot, but I got used to it and eventually I started to love it :) Especially when i discovered the really nice exp from trees and higher level herb seeds :) I also didn't like ranged a lot, but now I bought ranger set and I seem to like it again :D

I was not asking why are the prices going up. I just wanted to know why do the prices rise so slowly and what is everyones' oppinion on what is better to have: Santa or Green mask depending on future rise or fall of the prices. Er, what was this moved to Help & Advice? It was not a direct question, more like a instigation for a discussion. Probably I should put it in General. Anyways, I have made a foolish mistake and now i'm left with one Green Mask, a Disk of Returning and 5M(which i spent), not going into details, I'm just telling you that I was "scammed" and lost around 10M, which i am not worrying much about -.- My plan was to sell one of the masks for as much as possible and buy a santa for as little as possible and get a little extra money which I needed. Because of that event I decided to keep the mask and wait for disk prices to go up a bit, so i won't have such a loss. Well, I am probably going to sell it when I need guthan for Fight Caves. Or maybe just wait for a drop of Santa hat prices and trade disk for a santa(probably won't hap.pen). I personally think it is better to have a mask, because there are less of them and their prices are more likely to rise, but a good thing would also be having one of each just in case(a smart idea by jessy87) I would ask a mod or admin to move this topic back(or to General), because it was not meant as a question. In the last few weeks of August 06, I bought two green masks, one for 23M and the other for 27M. In the last two weeks(after i completed my bology exam) I was checking the prices of them and wondering why they don't rise much. In the end of August, the prices were going around 25-27M(i bought for top price, because I am not a merchant-liking guy and I hate standing there and waiting for someone to sell for less) and now the prices are going around 27-28M, sometimes higher(up to 30M). The prices of santa hats(I had two of these before) seem to be rising more and faster than green masks and I have been wondering if santas will overcome masks. I would like You to give out Your oppinion about the slow-raising prices of masks and fast-raising prices of santas and tell if is it better of selling masks and buying back santa hats. in rsc when you could alch stackable things all at once, i alched all my nature runes(at that time i had around 350, which was a lot) :P now i always check what i have in my inventory when i am massive alching :) :boohoo:

i had quite a lot rsc pictures on a CD but i lent it to my friend and he lost it :x :x :wall: checked every single CD i have for any rsc pictures but there are none :( :boohoo:

try a different combo. i needed to get blue circle(5) for the first keyhole. i was trying to get it for more than 30 mins and then i found out that red pentagon is also worth 5 :wall: it gets easier with time. try writing down different combos, it helped to me ^^ :boohoo:

well, i just wanted to try it out and get some herbs& coal which i need to train, so i just did what he did lol :) mahogany and teak don't give that good firemaking exp, so i will stick on maples and use them for fletching (still have it on 85 :P) and i won't use them for construction in any way :P i just think that's a waste of money :)

rebdragon, 21 is a magic number of kubert7 :P so i also used it :) any nykon, that's some ownage loot! maybe next time i should also put it on logs. do mahogany and teak give good firemaking exp? :D

hello and wb :D i remember you although you don't remember me. i'm not a very good poster :P RS's going fine. except that autoers destroyed everything :S pure essences are 100gp ea. Lunar magic is useful for skillers but it's not that good without regular teleports. Houses have some good features(portals, altar, infinite glory ammy, repair stand...) but getting high lvl is really a waste of cash :) Cool training spots... blah just train slayer :D Dharok is. ummm... maybe... i don't really know. never knew much of the prices :) I am fine, thanks for asking :D Still enjoying the game :P Oh and i love these emotes too.
