Yeah, if you have patience and money for 99 magic - get it. But let's be realistic. Do Witch's potion quest to get level 3 magic, then do Confuse/Weaken/Curse spells till 37. EDIT: well, if you want higher mage - Curse till 55, then highalch :P

You people take Communism as something bad. And what you said is pretty smart but you are wrong. This regime is not communism(nor absolutism as No_99_Melee said) and you should consider reading some articles about it. Try giving it a new name, maybe Jagexism or something like that. I think JaGeX is doing a good job trying to get rid of Real World Traders and people are way too ungrateful. Instead of whining, complaining and ranting, they should democratically team up and make some suggestions for making these updates better. I understand that a lot of you didn't care about RWTers, but they were actually violating JaGeX's Rules. In fact, they were selling something that was not their and that is called stealing. Even if they were stealing pixels it was still a theft. On the second hand, many of you were against RWTers and wanted to get rid of them and now, when the problem is solved, you are complaining. If you don't like the update, try thinking of a way how to make it better, don't just complain and demand the old RuneScape back. Maybe you don't believe, but JaGeX's intentions were good... I try to get as much things as possible by myself. And I don't like some of the new training methods, so I don't use them(like Pest Control or Gilded Altar/Ectofunctus).

It would be nice if they fixed the combat system and bank. I personally hope they won't release another skill for at least another year.. We still need to master Hunter, Construction and Farming. And Zezima doesn't have every skill at 200M exp yet. I just hope they won't make something that will ruin the combat system/economics/community even more..

Also Clue scroll you get from Iron(or Steel, not sure) dragon will always come with Rune darts :)

I believe you have been killing them and got nothing. But that is no surprise to me as you couldn't have killed a lot considering your magic/ranged level. Even if you killed them with melee.. I got my first dragon drop after almost 1M mage exp there.. So don't say you are more unlucky than me.

I don't consider myself lucky.. Considering I got around 5M exp here, this is very few drops and they don't cover the cost of runes(I cover the cost of pots with high alching stuff).. Did you even read everything I wrote?

I'm killing metal dragons to get 94 Magic(currently around 115k away from it :D) and I got my 3rd Dragon legs drop from them: I've been killing them since 78 Magic(with some exceptions, maybe 200-300k at Barrows and DK) and got these dragon items so far: 3ÃÆÃââââ‰â¬

WOW! That was extremely fast!! I love the reward! But I would prefer the quest was longer and more exciting.. What are those vines used for anyways? EDIT: use hide option for the reward, some people prefer not to see it before they have done the quest themselves.

The whole update seems nice :) Especially that monster who drops papaya seeds. I might start training Farming again :P Oh, jwrm22, in case you don't know - you can buy Greenman's ale from Yanille bar which raises Herblore for 1.

I have some people to tell you about: Mod Edit: Naming names in a negative light is not allowed. Q.V. Tip Mod - a huge pjer, sometimes even tagger. He will say that he pjs only dm runners. Do not believe him, he killed me once and he almost did 2nd time, and I've never EVER ran from a serious dm. (he's usually ranging and also runs if you attack him back!) Naming Names in a negative light - an annoying tagger/pjer. He uses melee. Again naming names in a negative light. - will say that you are a coward, noob etc. if you run from dm when he is in advantage(I told him about arobpl who came and I wanted to go to a different world so we could finnish our dm. He refused. I also stopped fighting him when arobpl came, and he hit me for some high numbers, I hit him for none.) I've had some others but I forgot the names. Will post if I remember. Thanks for reading. EDIT: If you know anyone like that, post them in here. I'm sure it is useful for people knowing who is worth dming

Off-topic: stop whining everyone! I doubt anyone has worse luck there than me. I've been killing them from 78-93 magic(around 5M exp alltogether) and got: 1 legs, 2 skirts, 1 med, 1 half shield. I believe I haven't got a d drop in the last 50k chaos runes& 2k Mithril arrows. I've used 20k+ chaos runes and 2k Mithril arrows since the Visage update too, got nothing. Comparison with my friend who raced me to 85 Magic(I started at 78, he started at 80): ME - 1 D legs; HIM - 3 D legs, 4 D skirts, a few meds, 1 half shield On-topic: congrats dude! It really feels good getting a red drop from those fellas :XD: Good luck with more of those and especially THE Visage =)

Fertile soil is very useful too. I never make supercompost so I just use that spell. Teleport spells also go to most of the patches. And there is also Swap spellbook, which I can use with Magic essence potion. It also owns for Slayer =) That is what I'm using the spells for these day \

BUMP! :twisted: I got four Dragon boots so far, but I forgot to take pictures of the last 2 pairs. I'm still killing Spiritual mages, want to get another pair, then I'm back to slayer. After getting 3 boots I sold 2 pairs for 1.2M each and did the clue from Suqahs. Unfortunately some level 115 Ice barraged/DDSed me and I died. At least I have already completed the clue and it was JUNK! Items lost: Obsidian shield (250k) Rune boots (180k) Amulet of glory (70k) Ring of dueling (1k) :P Black d'hide body (5k?) + a few k worth of junk in my inventory (maybe 50k) That is approximately 450K lost, but I still got 2.4m from Dragon boots so I have almost 2M profit :) Darn pkers -.- EDIT: ANOTHER PAIR OF DRAGON BOOTS! Fifth pair so far! Off to sell them :)
