ima have to go with you on this one, although it really depends on what lvl u start at, if your lvling from lvl 1 con would be the faster option because u to get ice barrage u need lvl 94 + dt ( i know not that hard for dt but it takes time away from lvling. and we all know jagex has to make hard quests for mages. (small side rant, jagex just hands over crossbows and whips but to get lunar we need 40 def and lots of other quests for dt u dont need def which inables pures to get but its still a hard quest to do without a blocker.)

barrows, because it is a high lvl mini game that is fun prolly the best mini so far i think the worst update so far is pest control, thanks to pc we have so many more pures (and just general ez lvling) with maxed out stats and low hp :ohnoes:

i HAD all three capes when they switched over from rs1 too rs2 they had that option to move all your items from rsc too rs2 so i tranzfured it all, then in rsc i went and got the next cape, trzfured and repeted for 3ed, Although, cause of lack of bank space i was forced to drop them awhile ago.. ontopic, GUTHIX FTW!!! zammy = best cape, best effect if you dont have tb sara= for ppl who smite and mage (phr33 whip, ftw!) guthix = Best effect after you ahve tb (lowers def) (pking ftw) best for lowering def, bone xbow spec if you attack first, then charged claws ftw! just my $0.02

i personally have owned every full set, the best thing i did was have verac and guthan at the same time, that was fun as heck at black demons, no food used super setted i blasted through those demons like they were imps. personally the only place i hardcore train is dustdevils so i cant use a full set of anything down there, the best option for me is torag plate+legs AND bones to peaches, this spell literally makes guthans worthless [obously this is only certon times] (obviously demons dont drop bones so guthans is still best option here) offtopic:WHY DONT BONES TO PEACHES WORK ON BIG/dragon/daggonath bones? in the end i use torags half set the most cause it is cheap, def is good the best full set imo is veracs, because i do use bones to peaches alot :) and verac pwns barrows, kq, and high lvl pvm just my $0.02 :twisted:

hmm to have bad luck in rs is like the story of my life 1.(i barrow in full verac's cause its great def and hits nice on everyone) the bad luck started at barrows, you know that glitch were you go into a room and your tunel bro pops up? well i had dharok for tunnel, and so i run out of that room to pot up right? when i go back into the room with melee protect on, low and behold, a 2ed dharok pops up, " oh ****" and to make matters worse, i lag out right then. screen goes white* " ffs " log back on and i have no verac helm ( bear in mind this is when helms were 3.3m or somthing 2. in other things i havent had to much luck, i.e. NO guilded or ranger boots or robins best i have ever got was a enchanted hat 3. i never win in cw 4. suck at pking. 5. 7k dustdvils killed without single drag drop

with the new quest you can buy the new prociliy (sp i know ) armor in pieces or in a box for a few k cheaper, the box itself isnt armor so you go to entraca (sp) with the box of armor, open it there and wala! you have full * :XD:

so really the only point would be if you were loseing members like tomarrow and you had done the new quest and you wanted to wear a skirt that has the stats of monk robes mixed with addy? \ :-$

now try it with that new armor from the quest, you can get 33 prayer + with all the stuff i think full procilty (sp) unholy ammy, white gloves + boots + drag mace + prayer book + fire cape is like 33 or somthing

killed 6k+ no chain im getting my pure to 65 slayer so he can range them too :P off topic, i killed 1k iron/steel drags and no legs or skirts but i did get 2 guthan spears in 10 trips, so i guess its a bit of give and take

ive done roving elves and i used my crystal bow up and now i want to recharge it. I CANT FIND the elf that charges it. PLEASE can someone nice post a map with where to find him circled or something its getting annoying and i only have 64 left i looked on HQ NPC database and all they said was southwest of the log that you pass by when you go to that city to with the gate, something close to that, anyway im hopelessly lost, im going to finish my homework and check back TYVM IN ADVANCE. :thumbsup:

i did dt on my pure, 1 def no protect prayer, fareed wasnt the ezest one, if that fire kid cought me it was almost insta death ( nailed duel 36s on my pure, thats not ez imo) if you know what your doing dt can be a breaze i did it on my pure in a day

ok so i was really bored, ( killing kaliphites with hally for slayer ) anyway, i started looking around the knowledge base and i ended up looking at crossbows and the new bolts, now this might not have anything to do with anything, BUT the silver bolt doesnt have a tip to add to it yet, and sence vampires dont like silver... i dont know about 100 but this is what happened to me... and the wierd thing about this is, even though it is single way combat both attack you at the same time, so lets just say it was bad, but, i did make it out alive and i killed both of them \ \

A little off on the first post? And I always wondered why it had veracs helm.. just didn't quite get it.. Anyway, I have never seen a quest guide that needed full guthans or drag. And for things like Abby demons or Dustdevils it says to use full guthans, but that is because that is the most effecient way. And because you don't have the stats to do either, it doesn't matter if you have guthans or not. Err. You can't use Guthans on Dust Devils.. And If you try pm me first and I'll steal your spear. :) :XD: thats where i got my first dragon drop, the day or so after dt came out some kid is down there running around i watch because he isn't wearing a DUST MASK ( reason you cant use a armor set) and low and behold i was looking at a nice shiny d med \

You know, a great place to train range and the possiblilty to get a nice drop. I am currently at level 56 and not doing so well. What do i do when i get onto a world? I look at the people there killing the monsters, and if there aren't enough spawns for all of us then i world hop. Now i will say that there are a FEW players, that when they see me hallying kaliphites they nicely hop to a diferent server or they hop after i ask them and tell them that im doing slayer. Because i have run into those random people that think that: I am on a slayer task, everyone else can go to hell, and when i say im currently doing slayer they are very sorry and hop. But the mjority of people i meet have this aditude of " i have a combat lvl of 110 + and your only 65 i have every right to come on your world and take every kill and greedly snatch all that slayer xp with no consideration to your feallings or respect for fellow scapers." The spot that i have found this to happen most is at kaliphites and it is extreemly annoying to have to switch worlds (that i have been on for the last hour) to some lvl 100+ that has a fire cape and a super set. my question is how often to you take other people into consideration?
