nope i just couldnt get the quest screen to pop up, (the one with the req and stuff) finally got it, combat lvl 20 advised or something so its not a high quest

I thought about this a while ago, but was thinking more along the lines of a special attack restore prayer, that has a double a double restore rate for the special attack like rapid heal with hitpoints and stat restore for all stats except combat. nooooo!!! you know how many pures will get those pots just to keep trying to ko with spec? prayer sounds good but it needs a higher drain rate than rapid heal :wink:

i'd do all the quests possible, like the ressipe for disaster and all the sub quests for that. then i'd deside if i was ever coming back to rs. if i was i'd keep the phat, if i wasnt i'd sell it and enjoy the moneys... btw, slayer can make you some good money

well there arent any offical drop rates, but jagex must have a system to determen the drops. So if there is a system then there is also a drop chance no it is just luck and nothing more then big luck like the wheel of fortune there is no way you know whast number comes out because u should always win then That might be true for the recipient of the chain, but certainly not true for the dusties that drop it. It might be as close as possible to "random" as to when they drop but it would still be within a defined numerical value. You cannot program "luck" so hence there has to be a drop rate. THANK YOU! just saying im kinda annoyed that we cant finish this quest with our pures, and get the reward (dark gloves) I mean, what i want them to do is make it that you go so some other npc to get the xp reward or atleast get the option whtn you talk to him 1. to go the island 2. get xp reward :roll: i mean, just getting the 33 def from mm alone kinda kills the 1 def pureness

yah i know that, im just saying you cant go back to the monkey island because you talk to the guy that gives the def xp, therefor you cant get the snake for the monkey ambasider (sp?)

dont you have to finish all the mini quests to unlock the "dragon" gloves? (idk i did the mm mini last)

so i was thinking about getting these ownage dark gloves for my pure. (i heard someone say you dont need def for them idk if thats true or not) Well one of the subquests is monkey madness, well we all know pures do this quest all the time, but, you cant go back to derio (sp?) ( the guy you talk to that takes you to the hidden glider base) or else you will get all that nasty def xp right? Or, sence i havent finished monkey madness on my pure yet, can i do the 100th quest b4 finishing monkey madness so i can go get the red banana and the special monkey nuts? I dont think so cause i remember a req for the mini quest was finishing mm. So, in conclusion, the best gloves pures can get are the "rune" gloves? This is of course if you dont need a def lvl for these gloves in the first place, if thats true then iron will be the best :cry:

the worst thing is when they hack a pure and get him def and prayer lvls lol i had a rs1 pure lol, i was sooo mad when one day i log on and i had 45 def and 40 prayer :( lol no more pure for that account lol

THANK YOU!! you took the words right out of my mouth, if we are talking about pures, after 45 combat mage start to lose their worth, max mage att in f2p is 25+ ( we havent had any new items sence rs2 came out! and the only thing we got sence rs2 is TB and tangles (btw, bind in f2p is pointless unless your in multi and with a big team)) also! this is with the blue robes that means NO DEF to like anything, to recap, mage gets a nagitive attack for useing any other armor, except a wood shield, also range gets this but considering just a metal plate takes like 20 mage attack away and the max mage attack in the first place is only 25+ this slaughters mages Also, green hide vambs and chaps dont take any def to wear! maken them the best option for pures to wear, so now the mages dont just have to worry about the rangers that wear the hides to acually range in them but they also have to worry about the melees that use them for there slight advantage in def + and that pretty mage def, it goes on with, just the rune simmy, gives 49+ for slash right? (doing this from memory so corect me if im wrong) the staffs give 10+ for mage att! wait, are you saying that 1 item is 2 times the max mage + FOR THE ENTIRE MAGE SET? this seems intirely unfair. and yes this post is regarding f2p only, i do beleive that 1 def mages should be able to wear mystic bottems and gloves just because rangers get to wear their!!!! ~psy~

also wasnt the all your base line a cheat code in, ah darn i cant remember exactly i think it was age of empires (1or2+conquers) or empire earth (1or2) ? i think it just auto killed everyones buildings or converted them or something i didnt know about that movie but i know its from one of the games, maybe they got it from the movie idk :?

it is a glitch, friend lost full dhoarks to it, although he did kill one of the pkers with a 70 rofl still died and lost but 1 ( from prayer) and no the chaos does not skull u, this glitch has been around for forever kay? this is one of the reasons ppl hated p2p multi :roll:

a little off topic really but still, what are the prices on the items i almost have enough points for mage's book, seeing its the best item in the shield slot for mages and dont take def i figured every pure mage or barrage person would want one, but i havent seen them sold ANYWHERE, my friend said it was going for 10m then i saw a guy "buying" one on rs forems for 5m but no one posted to sell, my question is this, is it worth getting book or top or should i just get full and sell it as a set or just get like 3 tops and sell them all or get 2 books and sell them? p.s. what is up with the bottem robe costing more than the top :?
