  1. You make switching browsers sound like it's a big deal. And please, stop jumping to conclusions. You can switch the tabs to the bottom with two clicks. Why do you like FF2 so much? It's an old browser. The UI of Netscape-derived browsers has not changed drastically in the last ten years. What's so different about the layout that you don't like? Again... too few, and too cumbersome due to being fancifully simplified IMHO... :( "Facifully simplified" makes no sense, and if you don't like it you can customize it.
  2. Like I said, at least one person. :-) Once we get all of the positions filled up with one each (And five for the brown, three for the gray) we can start adding to each position.
  3. Not anymore, it's looking good actually. And my ink is on the verge of 7000%. But let's get some organization! I hereby declare the organization to be as follows: We need at least one person for each letter. The duty of each guardian of each letter will be to defend their letter to the death. Don't use your ink for brown or gray, save it for the vandals of your letter. We will need at least five people for the wood circle, and three or more for the stones. Who wants to take what? R - U - N - E - T - I - Y_guy P - S - Wooden circle - (Preferably people who can find the right shade of brown) Stones - I won't be participating completely until later as I won't be on the internet much until next week.
  4. I just saw this article on Firefox 4 beta 1: http://hacks.mozilla.org/2010/07/firefox-4-beta-1-is-here-whats-in-it-for-web-developers/ Highlights: And best of all... I don't think I'm the only one who has been waiting for this!
  5. You're just about two years late. Yes, apparently Jopie is a boy's name.
  6. Wait, what?
  7. Oh whoops lol. And I guess wishes do come true! :3 It looks like my other personality has been vandalizing. Silly personality. You are not a troll! You know, organization would be good.
  8. Kind of the wrong place to post it, but here it is: "Progressive Phosphorescence" by Dimentichisi or LP of these forums http://dimentichisi.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d181s2k
  9. In the color selector, put the thing between yellow and orange (More towards orange) and move the brightness down a bit. Test a bit and adjust as necessary. Lol Nadril. How could someone possibly be stupid enough to think that would work? I can't wait until someone vandalizes as me. Vandalize as me please!

I had the leading lines and rule of thirds in mind when adjusting the composition, I would have taken it from higher up if I had a way to do it (My tripod is broken). To take this I had to hold it still on a table just below waist height and adjust the exposure manually. Needless to say there are a lot of outtakes. IMO I'm sort of evolving from minimalism, which I still like of course (Who doesn't?) to more detailed pictures where I still have things under control. That's where I'd like to be.
  11. ^ Definitely true. There are a lot of things that are considered pretty weird in Finland that are normal in America, like making eye contact with people you don't know in public.
  12. I'm honestly impressed, I didn't actually think we'd get this far. I'm on a new ip now so my ink is reset but in a while I'll have quite a bit.
  13. Yeah just one object per deck, that contains a property with all the cards in it, and has methods like shuffle() and anything else you might need (Possibly a function that deals) that processes itself.
  14. To me using a specific object to modify another specific object seems like bad design, it throws away the polymorphism you have available. Do one of these two things: Create an object for initializing decks (Creating them, shuffling them) and keep decks as a separate object, or Integrate the functions needed into your class, so that it can process itself in the style of deck.shuffle(), deck.deal() or whatever. Option two is better for you as it's pretty unnecessary to use a factory method pattern for such a small program.

Dude, seriously. Don't wash your sheets. Burn them. Your mattress and blankets too.
  16. I don't know, do you think there's a Dutch part of TIF? Maybe i do, what do you think? Do you have any thoughts on the subject?
  17. They're not priced similarly. PHP is free/open source. I'm not sure what you meant with that last sentence. C# has little to do with PHP, it's more like Java. I don't think that this discussion was meant to be about C#, just ASP.NET and PHP.
  18. Probably doesn't work anymore, a lot has changed.
  19. You dare use the forbidden font, on The Gallery? Shame, Stevepole. But lol @ the rest of it. :-P I don't know, do you think there's a Dutch part of TIF?
  20. It's pretty visible now, added all of my ink. We should try to come up with a good shade of brown that we all paint. E: Here And it seems /b/ is at it already. There's a white spot appearing on the logo.
  21. Yes. Underage drinking is an extreme problem here.

Yeah I kind of like tonemaps. But my overuse of the dodge brush made the color kind of inconsistent. :| And I suppose that if I want comments on my photography, I should comment on other people's stuff too. Occurred to me after posting this. :-P
  23. I was more concerned with identity than with nationalism/patriotism but I suppose it doesn't matter that much (And it's a bit late to say it). I suppose that's true. You might be right to a certain extent, but it's not like he's a basement dweller. I suppose you're not the most popular of them all, but not an authentic loser archetype, dsavi? (david?) Close, it's Davis actually. I am kind of in between. Due to the language I had problems making friends when I was younger, and at my age now, social lives pretty much revolve around drinking, which I have chosen not to do. It's a social thing, but it's not what we would call "social drinking" in the US; it is generally true that when people my age drink, they drink a lot. And I want to stay away from that.
  24. Will respond to more posts later, I'm kinda short on time atm. Try telling that to the Perussuomalaiset or Sverige"demokraterna". :-P
  25. I would be dead several times over without penicillin. I suppose you could just say modern medicine.
