Ok well I can anwser some of your questions, Range doesnt level up your combat untill it is 1.5 times higher then both your attack and str together. And i might aswell explain that every 4 attack and str levels you gain, is a combat level, and same with hitpoints and defence. prayer, well I dont know the prayer level up system but you could allways ask somebody else. And your main could be still a "good" depending on what you want him for, if its just for monster killing or questing then the more levels the better. but for pking generally people like specific stats. Try the graveyard help and advice if your leaning more towards the pking.

Well most people say that slayer dart isnt effected by mage bonus, but i have a theory that it does effect it, just not as much as other spells, its more based on your level then anything else. Also the barrows brothers have very bad magic defence (well not ahrim...) so your bad magic bonus gets balenced out by horrible defence.

^ sometimes its hard to sell lobbies for 250ea, unless you go to f2p edge and what not, so people just end up selling cooked ones for 200ea and losing some money, but not as much time.

Well if you got some glorys kicking around chaos runes are good using the abyss (watch out for pkers). Or you can make cosmics for allmost the same xp but it would be a bit more walking then using the abyss.

Well i bring a black salamander. I only use it for ahrim though, and occasionally karil, it much easier and cheaper to use slayer dart on the rest though.

obby sheild has better range and its better if your maging aswell. Rune is well... its a rune kite, you should know its stats by now.

Well first off your wrong... cause p2p stuff doesnt give any f2p stat bonuses, and for the record the barrows gloves are worth the money, just try not to die much.
