Hope I don't have to post this in the technical forums... Anyhooow, I've been thinking of getting one, but I've never tried using one or for that matter even seen one. There are some on ebay for like ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30, seems pretty good to me but I was wondering if quality really does matter? Like, if I get a ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã30 one am I going to get fustrated with it and want a better one within a week? Just looking for some advice really. I said one far too many times in that paragraph. :ohnoes:

Blargh. Shutup everyone. Those sprites look freaking awesome. Love the rocks in the top right too. Only crit really would be that the red parts of the dragons wing seem to have rather random highlights, I think it would look much better if it was shaded in the same way as the green parts. Also I think the center part of its neck could be lighter, as right now the head and neck too a bit 2D.

I think the colour is fine but it needs some (or more?) AA on the lines running through it.

Give it a nice border and colour the black lines. Also if I were you I'd add some mountains or something in the background, or at least shade the sky. How much better does that look compared to your first attempt though? Fair play to you for sticking it at it, you've succeeded where many have failed. =D>
