Anyone got any ideas on what to do when RS is down? Aside from post on Tif more.. I'm thinking this^, kinda wanna troll some phishers too, since RS is down :).

Yeh, I put in some items last night assuming they would sell even though they seemed to be crashing..Now I'm not quite sure. I take instasells for granted.. :( What do you take for granted in RuneScape?

I have no idea what this has to do with the rest of your post.. but I will answer it for you. Jagex used to stand for "Java Gaming Experts" but prior to the release of War of Legends this was changed to "Just About the Game Experience." Your other points about the developers and updates have some validity, but I don't see what they have to do with "the end of RuneScape." On another note, I'm moving this to the Rants forum since that seems to be more appropriate. Damn it. Really. Just delete the post then. I didn't mean for it to come out as ranty but I guess it is. Tbh I used to always pay for membership, but once all this started happening, I cut back by over 70%. As in every year, since about '07.

Today, we sit back and watch as RuneScape crumbles around us. The markets going insane, everyone possibly losing everything. You cannot move, you cannot breathe, you cannot even log in. Today is the beginning of the end of RuneScape. As I woke up from a slumber, I steadily walk out into the kitchen and begin my normal routine. Turn on the computer, get a drink, use the bathroom, sit down and set up my browser. I sit in my chair for nearly an hour, clicking and clicking on "Login". No response, feeling it's just my internet bugging out. I scan my computer twice, change a lot of internet settings that I probably shouldn't. Nothing.. As I go onto the internet, assuming my 40:1 Recieved/Sent packets is a DDoS/Trojan/Keylogger, or something worse, I search high and low for a solution, praying that there is one. After 45 minutes, I give up, I assume it's Jagex's fault just like everything else. So I decide to check their Tech Support pages, and then I went to go e-mail them, but decided to post on the forums for a quicker answer. In the top 5 topics, I saw "Login Server Offline" as a sticky. After 1 hour and 10 minutes of troubleshooting, all I had to do was just assume the obvious: Jagex did it. This irritates me, Jagex in general irritates me, because they seem to [bleep] up a lot when it comes to their game. In the Q&A session, they would rather answer questions about pizza and tea, or what the square root of pi is, than actually answer players' questions about the game they play on usually a daily basis. They said that the direction of their updates, and their vision for the future of RuneScape, is entirely based on what Jagex/the developers want. So you aim to please yourself, than please the people who keep you in business currently? I do not get their logic. They seem very stupid when it comes to specific areas. They even removed their "Java Gaming Experts" thing from their website. I tried looking for 20 minutes and could not find it. They are losing respect quickly, they kill off player base on a massive scale at times. They may look like they're improving as of recently, but to me, this is the beginning of the end of RuneScape.

I'm having the same problem as these people, maybe not as severely now but it's hardly improved. I get no difference between min and max gfx with my 'piece of crap' computer. Just saying. Maybe you should've thought it through that RS probably is affecting certain hardware differently than others before posting, also. The Min spec's on RS are also very low, why would anyone need a new computer all of a sudden? The RS ping thing is really messed. I can get delay on a low-ping world and no delay on a high-ping world. I think it's mostly reserved for the amount of disconnects anyway.

Yeah, I'm making a handful of cash it looks like, even though the GE is calculating something wrong. But my point is I have proof of it messing up just a -little- bit. I said it messed up hardcore yesterday morning, and again with Wioneo (he totally should not have gotten that much gp back). Wait until the GE calculates completely wrong and someone loses like 10-200M off something stupid.

Alright, sorry for the picture size, and it's sloppy cropping/untidy appearance. I was flipping super restores, when I realised it was either not giving me the correct amount of items when buying, or it wasn't giving me the right amount of gp for selling. About 2 minutes before I started this flip, I sold 11 super restores for 86k or something, when it should have been over 120-130k @ 11980gp ea. It happened right after I bought 1 super restore off myself, to be sure I had the lowest price selling. -------Info--------- Started with: 37,564,072gp (top left pic, in the chatbox) Buying for: 11,435gp each Bought: 237/1000 super restore (4)'s, have 236 in inventory. 2,710,095gp for 237 / 237 = 11435gp per. Cancelled my offer, withdrew the 8724k, examined my money pouch. Total afterward 34,876,847gp. 34,876,847 + 2,710,095 = 37,586,942gp..??? I didn't start out with that, and is more than 1 restore missing. Bottom left offer pic: Selling the 236 (supposed to be 237), total that n see if it adds up correctly, if you want. Bottom middle pic: My GE history showing what I had done prior to trying to sell these 236 potions (couldnt take a pic of that because someone trumped my offer and I would've deleted most of my history trying to find his price). What...the helllllllll... Just happened..??? I also was flipping yesterday morning for 3-4 hours straight, expecting my money pouch to increase by 2000-3500k+. I made 400k total, and I flipped at least 15 times with 5 different items, for 100-450k profit per flip. And on top of -that-, Wioneo had bought 25k fire runes about 1 week ago and got 1M gp back. What the hell is wrong with the GE? Am I seeing shit or is this real? EDIT: Just sold my super restores for... 27 sold for 323,460gp - 11980gp each offer. Math says = 11980gp each. 147 sold for 1,759,590gp - 11970gp each offer. Math says = 11970gp each. 64 sold for 765,440gp - 11960gp each offer. Math says = 11960gp each. ----------Totals------------ 27 64 147 = 238, I bought one super rest twice to see who was lowest gp sale offer. Still 236 originally. Total amount of gp after sale: 37,701,397gp Total amount of gp from supers: 2,848,490gp = Average price of 11968.445gp Total profit: 138,395gp. Difference between 11,435 and 11,968.445 = 533.445 * 238 = 126,959.91gp profit. 37,701,397gp (end total) - 37,564,072gp (start total) = 137,325gp (total gain). Give or take a few potions sold for loss to check price. What the hell is wrong with the GE?...Like I don't get it, is my math wrong?

Just deleted a 4000 character post because fetuses. Look @ my sig, has some botpk statistics in it. They're actually really good money (green dragon bots) and pking em can really [bleep] up goldfarm bots. I saw less spam pm's and higher pricing after I got a handful of people into botpking. I laughed my ass off for the first 2 days I did this, then I ran into pker accounts from bot owners/asked to come pk me possibly?..anyway, It's even funnier when you get a bot's pker out and kill him too. I bet they rage so hard, esp since you just used tuna and 40k in gear to kill them :thumbsup: . Best way I've found to combat bots for now. Just waiting for the day they dissapear entirely from greens. Then they'll be everywhere else and have a forever-footprint in RS once again. Here come botted bosses. EDIT: The bots give roughly 20 to 90k in drops at a time, based on inventory space and what they pick up (you can see their drop list after like 30 kills). It's roughly 600k+ per hour to kill them, depending on weapon, location/how you get there, and what BOB you use. I've killed maybe 30 or 40 without picking up drops, and another 40+ without any good drop at all. But with less bots it's a bit easier to find one that has drops, the only problem is pkers come out of nowhere pretty fast now, and do not stay long enough for you to go get pk gear (if you wish to hybrid/actually kill them guarenteed). Theres also an asston less bots that are over 103, which is basically my attack range where I kill them (I'm 125 F2P cb). Just try to do your best at reporting them. If you go to green dragons ever and see a handful of bots, turn on rightclick reporting. There's no wait time for macroing/bots, at least. You can get 15-20 reported in 60 seconds pretty easily.
