I totally agree with this topic. I turn off active-x controls for websites that aren't on my "Trusted List". This causes all video adverts on RS to not show, but doesn't block picture adverts/slideshow adverts. I think I'm doing nothing wrong and I'm doing it for security reasons. GFYS, Jagex, if you feel otherwise. LMK if you want to know how to do this.

Well put. Isn't much I can say that hasn't already been said. There are other things that are very wrong with this book, but the idea sounds pretty nice. It's a lot like what I was thinking of once, but way more overpowered #-o . The Game.

Started new char named "Hnnng I Came" for kicks at first, then decided to make a really decent build out of it. I go to the Chaos Altar and start burying bones for the Prayer part of the build, and I meet a few newbs that threaten to kill me and such, but eventually leave. After a while, this one guy comes up, says if I don't stop taking all the bones he'll tell his "mod friend" and get me banned, for a long time. I ended up saying "Rofl, go ahead. He'll just get demodded for wrongful mute/ban.". I log out for first time on that account, and try logging in again 5 minutes later. Turns out I get banned for having an "Offensive, repetative, or confusing account name". I appealed it, took until just a few mins ago to get the answer back, appeal didn't work. BS, Jagex. I had a legitimate reason for the name... Jagex sucks.

OK, no one is going to believe me for this, and I already argued with Lalala on this, but I have stated that I've gotten 235-279k exp in one 3-hour trip to aviansies at 85-87 range. I bring better gear than that, and 24 prayer potions which (at the rate stated by Craven) last about 2.82222223 hours (remember, I had better gear than that). Jard Y Dooku and I both separately calced it at about 96-103 average hitpoints for the aviansies I was killing. I would get 600+ kills a trip, 675 being my highest, and about 600-675 bars (never below). If you do the math, 600 x 96 (this is worst trip possible for what I did) is 57,600 damage dealt over the entire trip. Multiply that by the xp per damage dealt (trust me, it's 4.1 xp/dam), you get 236,160 xp per 3-hour trip, which is 78,720 experience per hour. Most will say this is IMPOSSIBLE even at 99 range. I would say that maybe I mixed up how much xp I got per trip because I'd always remember what I started at, but I did the math for how much xp based on skills and Craven's prayer point/5.2 second formula just proved that I get more than the 'max possible'. GF'd, Lalala. I was right all along :twss: . BTW, I calced the BEST possible scenario, it's 285,053 xp/trip OR 95,018 xp per hour. About 5 or 6 months ago, I came back to RS after losing a santa due to a known lurer in '05. I was broke and needed money, so I talked to a rich guy and he taught me how to make hundreds of thousands within a few hours of gameplay. We were merchanting karils pieces and sets along with 2 of his friends. After about 4 hrs we called it quits and went on to merchant more tomorrow. We get there and buy out everything as usual and spend 5-10m on pieces and sets (10-20 sets of karils max for each of us). As we sell more, we also are buying more. We begin to notice that we arent selling our stuff as easily so we start competing with eachother to sell. I go lower, my friend goes lower than me, and his friends do the same. Eventually we start losing money because the karil's armor isnt selling. The next day we sell all of our stuff for like 200k a set less than we bought. Lost lots of money :(. We decided to leave karils alone for a week or so. When we came back there was no one selling anything, or maybe 2 or 3 people. And their prices were soooo low. This continued for about 3 months, and then Karils rose to what we sold our sets for. Here's a sceenshot of the karils spot after we waited a week. :D Empty. Crashed those prices :D. I was wondering if Halo 3 could be a banned topic, for a little while. There are a few Lightning chat users that ask/tell about it and it usually causes spam. I also hate to see spoilers :cry: . I'm open to be a chat mod btw. I'm on RS for at least 6 hrs a week, and this chat is the only one I use.

Magic is the skill that Jagex ignores... Even though they gave lunar spells, from what I heard, most are junk. The max with mage on f2p is 16. The f2p max with range is 18/19 (I think) and melee can still hit pretty high. I'm pretty sure spells cast slower than a whip can hit, and no spell hits as high as whips can. The max with magic is 30, it splashes, and it doesn't even freeze all the time. With range or melee, you can hit upwards of 50 and nearly kill someone. Sure, it may cost a lot, but look at magic. Comparison shows that magic is far cheaper for damage, but it hits 30s max and is slow. I just feel Jagex needs to up the power on magic.

The last game I had played, after I quit rs for a bit, had skill breakpoints. An example of a possible RS skill breakpoint would be that every 9 atk levels, you get a +2% accuracy bonus unincluding what your accuracy bonus increases by every level. I'll make a small, 9 level list to give you an idea. Attack|Accuracy bonus 1 | 1% 2 | 3.5% 3 | 6% 4 | 8.5% 5 | 11% 6 | 13.5% 7 | 16% 8 | 18.5% 9 | 23% At level 9 attack, you can see a noticeable increase in the accuracy bonus from level 8. I feel that it's possible for RS's atk/str to be set somewhat like that. I also feel that it's possible that atk and str can have different breakpoints. I was talking to my brother the other day while playing RS, and I had said "I noticed that I hit my max more often when my strength is 7+ levels higher than my attack.". I do not know for sure if this is true, but my brother agreed, because his pure has 7 str lvls over it's atk and he hits fine. On my main, Renderer_123, my attack and str are 6 lvls apart. 82 atk 88 str, I supposedly can hit 19 or 20 with Rune Scim, but I can hardly hit 18. I partially blame it on the scim's low bonuses. On my 1-def pure, I have 30 atk 41 str. On my rune pure, I have 50 atk 69 str. They both hit rather well when they have 7+ str levels over their attack. It can't be proven until I have confirmed reports from some other people. I don't know if attack makes you hit better/higher if you have a few atk lvls over your str. I've never known anyone that has had 3-10 lvls of atk over their strength. Sorry for sloppiness. I'm no good at writing/typing correctly :| .

Well, I suggested something VERY similar to this on RuneScape Official Forums, and got locked (stupid jews.. took me 10 minutes to write :evil: ). Well, have 9 boxes, then the 10th one being one that can have a PIN setting on it, for items that you want EXTRA security on (such as Rares, Dragon items, etc..)
