Lmfao Malzra, that's epic. Oh god, this system might be better than anything before..That's why it's so funny. Over 210 users reading now, let's hope that we don't outnumber the Jagex employees working on this.

Buying rate/limit for GE
I took that into mind, but it's not the only factor at play. Whips are too common to be a full example. I just know that they could change the Grand Exchange or remove it, and it would be very different (for the better).

THAT would suck bad, I was even playing DGE when it happened :(. EDIT: The Ad server is back up! Go figure they fix the smallest problem that makes the most money out of all of them first. EDIT#2: Login server entirely down, problem should be being sorted right this second (hopefully). Woot.

Just as a forewarning, if you are logged in still, DO NOT LOG OUT OR YOU WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BECOME STUCK. Don't try it, you will become a forum lurking blood-hungry vampire until they fix this. You will definitely regret it :). P.S. Holy crap @ C110's pic :o. RuneScape is deaded :(.

Buying rate/limit for GE
I refuse to vote in this because I know that there are more important things than a limit on items. For the most part, the limit is excessive for anyone who doesn't die a lot, or play over 8-10 hours a day. You -do not- need to have 25k runes or pure essence more than every 4 hours, I have no idea why you would ever need that much. Two godswords lost in four hours? You are a terrible pker, and should probably stop. Even then, you can stock up beforehand, the limits are there so people can distribute their time between things and not focus on one thing at one time. That helps prevent erratic prices. As I said, there are bigger things wrong with this 'game economy'. Free trade and the Grand Exchange really shouldn't exist, because of the simple fact that a med/market price influences price rises/drops more extremely than it ever did in the past. Items were much more stable, people would look at what others would sell at or would be able to sell at without it being a huge loss. Even then, people operated in even increments. Most items wouldnt change more than 25-50k, and that helped a lot. The fact that you see an item you own drop 400k because of a few players wanting their money back quickly and sold for whatever the next person/merchant was buying for made the daily price drop, then people sell theirs too kind of will make something falsely priced, and rise/drop a lot more than it should or normally would. It goes both ways. People hear about an item possibly rising like a Soulgazer in Dungeoneering and they freak out. They go off to buy it before it rises too much, which is funny because most of the time those people just want a profit. In all cases, they will still pay the same price if it were higher or lower, because that's what the med/market price is and what everyone else has to pay. For example, whips were 3.2m, they were fine and dandy and I had no problem paying that, so did a lot of other players. Now they are about 1140k and steadily dropping, but people are still paying that regardless of what they paid before. I just don't get why the Grand Exchange exists with free-trade. However, I once saw a "RuneScape Nostradomus" on the RSOF. He apparently predicted every system removal since they took out bounty hunter/pvp, or even earlier. This would mean that he predicted free trade, wild, pvp, bh, statuettes, pvp systems, drop limits, whatever was included in the past 3 or so years. That would mean the Grand Exchange is next.

Ok, the title is a bit excessive in description to the matter at hand, but nonetheless, RuneScape is currently more close to death than ever before! :o! Friend's server is down, clan chat is down partially, the Grand Exchange is down, accounts logged in while RuneScape is continually crashing are stuck in-game. (I have 3 so far stuck >.<) For one log-in, I got the message that "Our system is currently unavailable. Please try again later.", so maybe they're pro-active right this second, but it doesn't seem to be working. Feel free to start rumors of Grand Exchange items being eaten, rollbacks, servers possibly being hacked, who spilled the coffee, or what you've gone through so far!

00.30 North, 24.16 East
00.30 North 24.16 East - In Lumbridge Swamp go to the shack for the Lost City (Zanaris), and head Northeast until you see an open area with rocks on the ground. It's easy to spot once you see the area. ------------ Change to: In Lumbridge Swamp go to the shack for the Lost City (Zanaris), and head Northeast until you see an open area with rocks on the ground. Dig in the center of the ponds. Image: http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/7054/rendcoord.png Sorry. The original confused me w/o looking at the picture, and now you have an updated one you could use :) (even though I highly doubt you will use it).

08-Mar-2011 Artisans Workshop
My signature is now relevant to everyone in RuneScape. Dude, I would LOVE to throw a fetus at whatever Jmod decided not to give this any rewards. Brb, calling for back-up. We're gonna need some help, and a lot of fetuses.

My signature is now relevant to everyone in RuneScape. EDIT: On a side note, everyone that thinks this makes smithing cheaper, look at the street prices of ores and how much they'll rise within a week. You're still gonna pay the same amount, or more, for POSSIBLY faster experience. This update [bleep]ed smithing up.

Any ranged 2H tank guides?
Also, all my combat levels and max hits besides the 90-99 range ones are calculated. Those are exact figures, or only off by small margins.

Any ranged 2H tank guides?
Double posted. Anyway. The weapon is really easy, so yeh. Rune battleaxe has a faster speed making it a bit more easy to go back to ranging. I only suggest it when your range is powerful enough on it's own. It has like 20 damage less than a 2h and 20 damage helps LOADS. Gear again, very simple. You don't want to wear a ton of -range bonus items if you don't have very accurate range already (like level 50-65). Rune chain + med/full helm, dhide chaps and vambs. Power ammy is optional but I prefer str for the KO power of 2h, range still hits the same damage without Power ammy. Alternate gear setup would be what rusttoid said (hi loser). Rune full helm, dragonhide body, rune legs, vambs, power ammy might be better in this case. And only use that gear at 70-80+ range. If you aren't 40 def yet, just use same gear as I said before, just addy/mith instead. Depending on your range/str levels, watch where your def and combat are at, so you can still tank a bit and knock em the hell out.

Any ranged 2H tank guides?
Well I don't have a guide, but it's pretty easy to make a range/2h pure, let alone a tanky one. What you wanna do is either go for good pking levels for the HP:Combat level your average pure would be then, or just go for x levels before pking. Optimal ratio would be 20+ def 50-60 range 40 att 40+ str (get str as high as possible w/o being melee-based). In this type, you can get higher def. My range/2h tank has 40 att, 46 str, 31 def, 53 range, 49 HP. It's not all that great for it's level (47) but can tank people and kill people easily. If I were to pk again, I'd get 58-62 range first. And if I were to get higher str/def, I would get 33 def and say, 72? range then do dragon slayer to hit like 50 strength and 40 def without gaining as much HP. At lower levels, it's better to have 40 attack 40 str than 30 att 50 str because it'll give you less HP exp, which will up your combat even more, and the max hit with rune 2h would be higher than addy 2h even though you have higher Str. But if you already have high HP due to your range level being decently high, just go for higher strength. Check the average HP level of what a 1 def str pure/range pure would be at your combat level and then make sure that you can at least combo higher than when they can get hit by range then eat once. I.E. They eat at ~230 life points because they have 64 constitution, you hit a 113 with range max. They would probably have swordfish, so you would knock them down to 117 life points, and eat +140 to make it total 257, so your 2h should hit at least 160, preferrably 180+. That isn't very hard to achieve, as my range/2h combos like 250 with range and 2h and is only level 47. Keep in mind range is faster than a scim hit and people still easily combo with a bad scim hit and surprise with a 2h. The range makes the 2h hit much more surprising. For the fixed levels before pking method, I suggest you go for.. -40/60/40 melee, 64 constitution, 72 range. You'd be level 61, combo 280-300+, most level 61 str pures have the same constitution and would eat ~250 -40/70/40 melee, 72 constitution, 80 range. You'd be level 67, combo 300-330+, most level 67 pkers will have higher constitution and would eat at ~270 -40/74/60 melee, 78 constitution, 86 range. You'd be level 76, combo 320-350+, most level 78 pkers will have higher constitution and eat ~290 I've not done much pking beyond that combat, so I don't know what attack level would be recommended, but you could get 90-99 range, 70-85 def, at least 80-85 strength, and combo like 400 at ~89-94 combat? ish.... You could also get 44 pray/31 pray then too. ON A SIDE NOTE: The combat level gains from 31 prayer ARE NOT USEFUL until 81-84 Strength. Only then would it boost your strength enough to compensate for the gained combat. But if you feel the need to have 44 prayer, then wait until you feel like you'd be getting PJed or something easily, or can hit rapid 150s without the prayer. Training spots aren't really hard to find on F2P. Moss giants, lesser demons, possibly greater demons (in rev dungeon?), hill giants (decent money-ish). Train dungeoneering and you could get a few decent training items, or just unlock good places to train for at least slightly less crowded monsters. I hope I helped. :)

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
Considering I've been saying this for the last few days, FM cape is fail, see too many of them and they're easy and very cheap to get. Gotta suck a lot to want to have this as first cape.

Tip.it Times March 7 2010
Article about macros: If you go on F2P and do normal F2P actions, you can see sooooo many bots, it isn't even funny. The autotyper is clearly the most common, but that's not a real bot. The only thing keeping that character from logging out is the constant typing program. I see bots mining, killing hill giants, straight training, you name it, they are probably doing it. At least that's the case on F2P. For the most part, I've seen a lot of the bots to be male avatars, with black hair and/or black pants. But besides those common features (which not all bots have), they are literally undetectable. And sometimes, even then they have a human playing for them, that or they're programmed so well, that they react differently to each situation! It's not fair. It's not right. And Jagex isn't doing anything about it.

Well, thanks for the info on Easters. I'll have to look into it more.. And I read on Rsof that it's actually very easy to get Easter eggs on the G.E., just sayin'..

F2P Boss Monster - Elvarg | 30+ supporters! | NEW! Support siggy's!
I'll support it for the sake of F2P boss monsters/massable places. Needs things beyond improvement though (just not a concept I prefer  ). Well-made supported suggestion, though!

The Grand Ex Is Broken And Affecting ALL Gameplay
The GE actually updates randomly, but averages one update per day. It updates partly based on randomness, and partly based on volume of trade. As I am typing, the GE hasn't updated for about 35 hours. But I've seen it update twice a day before and I've heard it's even updated 4 times a day in the past. Hah, the whole thing that started this suggestion was totally wrong. Funny, isn't it? Yeah, I was told it updated twice a day. Ok, so I'll edit it to say twice a day at most on average.. Forgot to ask, is that "volume of trade" based on all trade? or just of specific items?

The F2P General Discussion Thread
Don't forget that the streetprice of these Phats is way above the g/e prices. Goodluck anyways though. There are a few phats that get sold on G.E every week ;) So far, pking has sucked lately..not doing great. Got 92 str today though!

The F2P General Discussion Thread
OK, I have an interesting solution to my problem (getting a purple/green/yellow phat) . Say I PK 130k profit (including rebuys for food, weapons, and whatnot) per 5 fights, not counting corrupt drops or win/lose streaks, on PVP BH. 130,000 / 5 = ~26,000 per fight on average. Say that I do 23 fights a day (not hard I don't think, not at my level) 200,000,000 / 26,000 = ~7692 fights for 200M gp (extra) 7692 fights, fighting on avg 25 pieces of food, 12.8 healing per food, 90HP (constitution now) per player I should end up with ABOUT 12,163,000 experience gained. Which will leave me about 2.5M exp off of my 99 hp goal (I DO NOT WANT 99HP). I will be able to get 98 strength and about 98 attack/95 attack with 90 defense on the way. (I plan to max melee all at once with d claws for untrimmed/trimmed hp, interesting I know) I should have enough to make a large dent in my goals. EDIT: I don't plan on flipping at all to get the money for it, but I might end up doing it for the end of the cashpile along with skilling.. I will definitely try doing this, but I can't guarentee it will work, lol Just a thought and experiment really. PKing my way to a Phat on F2P   . Wish me luck while I test this.
