  1. I don't mean anything personal by it, it's just an argument that comes up a lot around here. Not everyone instaquits though. For most of us, it's more of a slow drift away from (or weaning oneself off of) the game: maybe some updates don't sit right with us, but there are still enough that do to keep us in. Something like this update would be, for someone like that, a wake-up call. Maybe it shows just how far gone they are, maybe it touches a pet peeve, things like that. Given how blatant it is, the issue might even have less to do with the update and more to do with the attitude surrounding it. ...Speaking as someone who loathes what they're doing with the lore and the endgame, but sticks around for a small section of the community and the base game being no worse than it was in the beginning.
  2. Ah, that argument again.. Is it so hard to believe that some of us might like the game but not the direction it's headed in?
  3. Son. Child. Boy. Cthulhu. Youth.
  4. >Not Jagex's fault >Actively and intentionally enabling these players by rewarding them at the worst possible time
  5. For the maybe... two of you that still browse here and care about this.
  6. I've seen better. I've also seen much worse. 7/10, would read again. TNPW review a film.
  7. There's just a lot more that they can do with an entire skill dedicated to exploring dungeons, especially when people are still complaining about how self-contained it is.
  8. They could flavor it as a general survival/knowledge skill
  9. I'm assuming that the second game is much better than the first? Have been going through Dragon Age again, to keep the dark fantasy thing going.

I had just assumed he found the center if the internet: the cat gif from which all others originated.
  11. That is actually a really cool effect. TNPW make a post with the text matching their eye color.
  12. Paying attention was a thing I was not doing. Bad Pokemon rom hacks will do that. God damn it guys I'm playing you to avoid grinding, stop throwing level 16 mons at me before the first gym even opens But I did get this! At around ~7 memories. I think I'm going to stop at 7 memories. Who thought this was a good idea. So that's base 80 again.
  13. A nice cool green. At least I think that was the cool one. Nobody said I was good at color theory. TNPW do the same.

Big pecks. I am so sorry.
  15. Something for the inevitable Mythbusters porn parody to consider, then? ...WHY IS THIS THE START OF A PAGE
  16. Alright, "Marginally different but just as useless and arbitrary". Better?
  17. It's the old formula with range/mage given the same weight as attack and strength. ...Which is pretty much the current formula with a max level of 138 instead of 200.
  18. I'd assume it's just a safe assumption for a new player to make: The tutorial introduces them as a new adventurer, and then the game officially starts in the sixth age. Maybe they should frame Ashdale as a (playable) flashback during the tutorial, or just flash forward after? Say, open with some narration about the Sixth Age and the Adventurer's role in it, or give that same infodump at the end.
  19. Including happy feels. TNPW DO THE SAME
