  1. Bump  . Dang. 27 views (3 of them are mine), no replies :? . I'm not expecting any "Oh meh gawd that is teh poonage!", but I'd atleast like some feedback, suggestions, and C/C. But oooooook. Nobody has to reply I dont guess.
  2. I agree. Even a couple of the images on there aren't too visible.
  3. I believe my Photoshop skills have taken a turn for the better. I realized my former ones were pretty plain, and they all seemed to "have the same feel". After about an hour or 2 (total) of straight fooling around with just about everything I knew to fool around with... I finished with my best work yet :) : C/C welcome. Ratings also very welcome. I know it isn't the best in the world, and I know that I still have a lot to learn. But I gotta say I'm pretty darn proud of this one  .

    New avvy

Did you make it in paint? If so, save it as a .png and post it, and I'll see if I can save it as a very high quality .JPEG.
  5. Lmao @ the Straw 8) . I like it. 8/10. What is that thing on the left of the guy (beside the fence)?
  6. Yeah, I've seen it quite a bit too. Though I must say I wasn't focusing too much on the image this time. It was all about the backgound and blending in this signature, which came out to my liking :) .
  7. Wow thanks everyone! I would have added more text (bitmap/pixe font), but the way I made the sig wouldn't allow it. Why you ask? Because there were many points in the sig where I merged layers together to the backgorund (therefore it locks it). I COULD add text, but it wouldn't blend in like the "Zibl" text is  . I have already deleted the image I posted on there, and the tutorial was a bit complicated to find. I searched something like "image brushing" at Good-Tutorials.com, and it brought me to a forum. I ended up finding my way to the Tutorials section of that forum :? . I'd post if I could, but I don't ever keep images/tutorials I find after I use them. Thanks again everyone!
  8. I must argue. Though it may be alot easier, ImageReady is far better to use in quality. Not to mention, if you know what you're doing, you can do 10 times more w/ ImageReady than you can Animation Shop. If you don't have/know about ImageReady, then any flash program would work (as would animation shop as they've suggested). If you DO have/use ImageReady, I could always try and find a tut for you.
  9. Thought I'd go with something new. I found a very helpful tut on blending images, which I think is why I like it so much. Rate if you'd like, C/C always welcome. It isn't perfect. Background didn't come out AT ALL like I wanted it to. It also doesn't look like it is in the best quality. That's basicly because it isn't (got it to 29kb from about 81kb :? )... good 'ol Tip.it resrictions  .
  10. #1 - I called it a render for good reason, but I will not explain it here (because it has been explained in another topic). #2 - The render quality is fine  . If you're referring to the edges (which you said), I'm 99.9% sure you are looking at the outer glow effect. #3 - I put a drop shadow on the picture because I didn't think it looked good without it there. It didn't look bad, but I still didn't think it looked too good. #4 - It has a drop shadow and outer glow because I DIDN'T know how to "embed". When I say embed, I don't mean using the lasso tool and make the edges get lighter into the background (dunno what you call that :? ). Thanks for the critisism, next time make it a bit more constructive  .

  12. I dunno why people look and not reply, it's one of those unsolved mystery things :? . I like it :) . I've never tried a Tech sig myself though, so Id on't know anything about them. Looks good to me though. 8/10?
  13. Lol, no kiddin  . Thanks for the replies. I should have embedded (right word?) the image into the background, but I didn't have a clue how to. Oh well.
  14. Well, I have been practicing my rendering (cutting out a specific part of an image, while deleting the rest). I did the sandrock gundam. Upon creating a new abstract sig, I added the rendered (cut) picture in it. I think it came out quite well. Of course I'm not too happy with the text  , I suck at it. WARNING: Yellow based. May hurt eye balls  : The quality isn't very good. I saved it as high of quality of JPEG as I could (it ended up being just under 30kb), so that is as good as I could get it. I also gotta say I wasn't at first planning on adding the gundam picture. The signature was my best work so far, and the big picture took up alot of it :? , but I don't mind. C/C always welcome :D . Yes, I forgot the border.... so sue me.
  15. http://www.imageshack.com Err... works for me. Hasn't NOT worked in months :? .

    Flipbook!

That is... the most jaw droppingly horrible attempt at a flipbook... that I have ever seen... ... Other than that, cool. I added to favorites, but I haven't the time right now to fool with it.
  17. Not too bad :) . The background is quite basic, but you specified in your topic that you needed some good brushes, so I won't be too harsh  . I also see you found Nuzza's Tech Border tut  . Or that border looks almost just like the one who makes in his tutorial  . All in all, not bad for a 3rd attempt. If you want some good brushes go to http://www.deviantart.com . Not only a good place for brushes, but an overall great website dedicated to graphics and picture design (if that's what you'd call it). P.S - Here is a direct link to the brushes page at DeviantArt --> http://browse.deviantart.com/resources/ ... 5&limit=24

    My work

I like em :) . Some more than others, but overall they are good (IMO). Ryan - What's wrong with using "copyrighted" images? Even if we don't actually make the images or anything, why is it so bad he uses them? Just asking is all.
  19. Well, alright. I wasn't trying to prove anyone wrong, persay... just trying to defend myself so you wouldn't think I was a mindless noob who heard the word render one day, and decided to call it that :? . I must ask. Where might I find Tttia's guide to "channels". Never heard of them, or worked with them/it. I'll do a search though.
  20. Whoa, whoa... I'm not trying to be a whinny noob here  . I wasn't complaining or trying to pick a flame war or anything, I was just saying. As you may can tell from my signature, I am fairly new with photoshop. I know that a render is an image made... I figured that out myself from other people's posts. Why am I calling this a render? I'll explain below: As you can see, I'm not the only person calling them Renders :? . There is an entire part of the forum based on them. This is inside the 'Renders' part of the forum. Each topic is dedicated to an image that has been "cut out" of it's background. In fact, here is a link --> http://www.gamerenders.com/forum/ ~~ I'm not arguing, or trying to start anything. I am simply showing you people WHY I am calling this a render. If it isn't called a render (which according to those forums, is what it is called), please tell me what it is called so I won't make the same neeby mistakes   .
  21. Damn bombings. We had just cut on the TV where I work (during lunch) to watch the Showcase Showdown on The Price Is Right, and the dern 'Special Report' about the London thing inturupted it. Grrr...
  22. Ryan - Well, I was just asking for an opinion. Sure, all I did was delete the background... but that takes longer than 2 seconds  . Tell me a way to do it in 2 seconds, because if you know a way, I'd really like to know. It isn't very "important", but I was just wondering if my work was all-right, bad, or horrible. Carlos - A render can be something you made yourself, yes. But it also can mean something else. Take a look at gamerenders.com :? . It is a website/forum based off of renders (which is what I did to the picture... I rendered it). I posted my picture there too, but I wanted the good 'ol C/C of Tip.it. Oh, and about getting it from a google image search... err... most people who render a picture get them from a website/search  . Once again, Tip.it slightly dissapointed me. All I wanted was a "Well it's ok, but it could be better", or, "Daaaaang... that sucks"... but all I got was short lectures  .
  23. Actually, I dunno what the guys name is :? . Got the picture off of a google search. But when I saved it, it said "Neji"... so I assume that is the guy's name. I am posting the pictures as thumbnails (because the are too big), so just click on them. Original Picture: Rendered Picture: +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Now... as you can see... it isn't very good  . That is mainly because I SUCK at doing renders. It is, however, my first attempt. C/C is welcome :) .
  24. Very nice sigs. But uh... http://forum.tip.it/viewforum.php?f=58& ... f6463e70da - For buying and selling ALL Media-related things - sigs, art-work, ect. There is a reason for the Media Market :? .
  25. Media Disscusion is where this goes. I would not give 100k for your sigs. Not even your new ones. Sorry pal :? , I'm sure most will agree with me.
