  1. - Rune Large - Addy Plate - Rune Legs - Anti Breathe shield - Blue Cape - Rune Battle - Lobbies (actually, like 10 lobbies and 10 swordies or something) - 1 Strength Potion (which I forgot to even use) There you have it. Full rune basicly, but with an addy plate. It wasn't bad either. Completely forgot that I had the strength potion so I ended up not even using it.
  2. I second that. Atleast I'm fairly sure it was 2.1 billion. How do we know? I'm not sure who it was, but I do believe 1 person tried to deposit billions of gp into there bank and only 2.1 billion went in. The rest of it dissappeared. Something of that sort. Not sure of the real story. Perhaps I'm completely wrong and a Jagex staff member told us?
  3. Dang it! The merchanting town of Seers is crumbling? How will we live!? [/sarcasim] #1 - There has never been a lot of selling in Seers... other than fletching material and nature runes . #2 - Merchanting hasn't died down at all. In fact, over the recent years of prices rapidly dropping (a.k.a rune and tings of that sort), there has been a boost in merchanters IMO because items have become easier for people to get and merchant with. #3 - Merchant for teh win! \ .
  4. =D> =D> Now that is what f2p needs. More people who will drop cooked lobsters. Or did I miss the point?
  5. Least Favorite: Herblore. Most Boring: Firemaking/Prayer My least favorite skill is herblore. Simply because it takes forever to gather up a lot of ingredients to do some massive leveling. Plus you gotta gather the vials and fill them up, ect. Of course this is all considering you don't buy any of it. But as for most boring I had to go with either firemaking or prayer. Prayer isn't too bad if you have a lot of money to buy the levels. Plus... it isn't too hard to click the bones and bury them. It's fairly simple. But firemaking? #-o . It is so boring! You click the tinderbox, you click he log. Repeat. Run into something in your way? Welp, you gotta move. If you try to light the logs over a flower or something? You gotta move. PLUS when you are finally finished with your inventory of logs, you then have to run back to the bank and start all over. So annoying.
  6. I rather enjoyed this article. It gets right to the point. It also describes how there is no use in complaining or hating Jagex. Nicely done!
  7. There has never been, nor will there EVER a black party hat. Back in RuneScape Classic the party hat which we now call "the purple party hat" was called "the pink party hat" (it also was.. well.. pink instead of purple :? ). When RuneScape 2 came out, the pink party hat changed to the purple party hat. That has been the only change in party hats ever since their release. There has only been and will always be only 6 different colors in which case black is not included. End of story. EDIT: Those of you saying that Andrew, Paul, and Jagex mods may have them... well in all these years there has never been one spotted nor has one ever been confirmed by any of the Jagex staff. So that TOO puts to rest all the rumors.
  8. I wouldn't worry about it. I played Runescape for 4 years before I quit... and do you have a clue as of how many people I up and exploded on because of their stupidity? Countless! Had to be hundreds. Many of them probably didn't deserve the amount of verbal abuse I threw upon them... but people are idiots. How many times was I reported for yelling at noobs? Probably hundreds. How many notices have I ever gotten? Not even 1. So I personally wouldn't worry about it. Just my opinion though :-w .
  9. When I was younger I used to love Dragonball Z #-o . Not I die-hard fan... but I did watch it everyday on Toonami (years back when it came on @ 5:00). ANYWAYS! I also liked to do the little DBZ RPG things. Texted based ones. I thought they were quite fun myself, and they also seemed to pass the time if people were into it. A guy on there named Kakuri told me through AIM one day about this new game he found called RuneScape. He gave me the link and I made an account (Zibl). He was only level 8 combat when I joined, so we were both fairly new. His RS name was Kakuri_SSJ. I won't go into too much detail, but he basicly stopped playing for a bit because he said it took up too much time that he didn't want to spend on the internet. A few months later, the GM of the dbz rpg we were both on told us about how we were in the last saga of the game and that he was going to stop it. After the RPG closed up, I never saw or heard from him again (because the AIM name he used to get on was purely for his RPG buds). Sucks. He was taken off my friends list a couple weeks after the RPG closed because he neve got back on so I figured it was a waste. It's been almost 4 years since the last time we spoke and I doubt I ever see him again. But it'd be cool to show him RuneScape (and my account) today. P.S. - The old link to that DBZ RPG is http://www.angelfire.com/ak4/DBZRPGgame/ <-- if anybody was wondering.
  10. Haven't played RS in quite a while, but playing at night always seemed to be more effective for me aswell. Why? I can't tell you exactly. Perhaps it was because late night nearly all of my friends were asleep. So I wasn't bothered by I/Ms or any other annoying stuff. Plus... I mean it is late at night. If you are at home and you are bored, what else is tere to do then Runescape it up? Plus most of my RS friends weren't on late nights when I was so again, it made it easier to do what I wanted.
  11. Thanks for the heads up TunaBoy. I do have 1 last question though. My brother's computer has a Recovery Disk (somewhere... I'm still looking for it lol). If I were to pop that in to the wipped computer, would the recovery CD start up and "recover" windows xp and stuff? Thought I would ask. I'd save me a headache trying to get my hands ahole of a Windows XP Home Edition disk.
  12. http://www.majorgeeks.com I actually have a few things from there to help my computer. Most of which is used mainly for freeing up unnecessarily used space and what-not. I highly suggest AVG Free Edition (anti virus). Enjoy.
  13. Oh alrighty then, thanks very much :) . Guess I'll have to get my hands on one of those sometime soon. But while I'm still hooked on the subject I was wondering something. Could there be a way to make this some-what outdated computer into a much better computer? Figured I would ask. I hear people talk about Linux and all this great stuff but I haven't a clue how to use it or what good it (and other operating systems) actually do. Just wondering.
  14. Alright well I'll try and keep this simple and brief. Please keep in mind before reading this that I'm a newbie to this stuff.. I just need a bit of help :| . My cousin's computer received a nasty virus last weekend. In fact, he recieved a FEW nasty viruses. His whole family was fed up with the thing so they decided to get a new one. Not the point. The point is, however, that I offered to take their modem (just for a bit of fooling around). Well last night I 110% COMPLETELY wiped the hard drive on it (used DBAN to do this). Now when I cut the computer on, all it says is "Operating system not found". I expected that. But uh.. exactly how can I fix this  ? To be perfectly honest I would like to somehow get my hands ahold of a Windows XP Home Edition disk and load windows xp on that bad boy and have an extra computer laying around :) . But I wasn't sure if that is all that it would take. Then Linux popped in my mind, but I haven't a clue on anything about that. I guess my question is what should I do? Any opinions are welcome along with any ideas and/or help. Please keep in mind I'm a novice at all this stuff.
  15. Ugh. Let me give you the entire Runescape/Not runescape histopry and release dates. It's amazing at how PROVEN information can still get twisted and turned. There. Good god. To sum that all up, Runescape started out not even as Runescape but as 'DeviousMUD' and was solely being developed by Andrew and Paul. They never released it (obviously). They did what was supposed to b e a complete rewrite of the game but ended up with the same idea AND same name (DeviousMUD). But then in October they started on what we now know as Runescape Classic and released it TO THE PUBLIC on January 4th/5th of 2001. See the part I bolded and colored above? TO THE PUBLIC means that only a select few would have tested it before it's 100% release. Meaning anybody claiming they "beta tested" it are pretty much morons. PS: All information is from http://www.answers.com/topic/runescape .
  16. My first day is slightly blurry. All I really remember is misspelling the name of my character and having to make a new one right after  . I chose to be an Adventurer (sorry all you tutorial island noobs... tis is FAR before your time). Twas quite interesting. I remember I couldn't talk to other players for some reason. Then a closer look at my stuck "enter" button, and the problem was solved quickly :P . The first day I joined, the first person that responded to any of my questions... was Rubbermaid. He was the first on my buddy list and the first to actually help me in any way. He gave me (on my first day) bronze medium, bronze chain, and an iron short. I'm not going to say I didn't feel like a king because I did  . I think I gained an attack and defense level my first day, along with 2 woodcutting levels because as an adventurer your starting items included a hatchet and tinderbox if I'm not mistaken. It was fun. And became even more fun when a week later I finally got the nerve to venture past Lumbridge's gates and onward to find Varrok.
  17. Meh, I was hoping you wouldn't say that  . I personally don't mind the futuristic type games (Halo, Perfect Dark, Time Splitters, ect.) but my brother on the other hand hates them. Thanks everyone for your help!
  18. Ghost Recon eh? Well is it for Xbox live? Because I'll say again, I do not have Xbox live or PS2 Online! I need cooperative mode without having to go online to do so.
  19. Thanks for all the replies guys. Halo = not a war game, but it still p00nages you  . I meant regular Xbox, because I'm too cheap to get a 360 :? . Though I will ask this. Out of the war games listed (Metal Slug, Ghost Recon 2, and Full Spectrem Warrior) which would be the best to get? I rather enjoy the WWII games, but I don't think any are listed here. Thanks for any info! EDIT: Full Spectru, Warrior is not cooperative. IF you read my topic, I even bolded and put it in red that I "Do not have Xbox live". While watching a GameSpot review, the guy says "You can either play solo or cooperatively over Xbox Live" .
  20. Well, I'm fed up. I've rented 2 different war related video games and they both do not support 2 player coopertive mode. The games were "Call of Duty: Big Red One" and "Medal of Honor: European Assault". They ended up being alright games, however me and my bother like to "team up" and play the levels together. so the question is, what Xbox and/or PS2 war games has 2 player coopertive capabilities? Keep in mind I do not have online play for either system, so this is out of the question. Thanks guys for any help! Feel free to discuss any good war games too (so this topic doesn't appear as SPAMish  ).
  21. Well in CSA (Conditioning Strength and Agility) class, which we do Weight Lifting and such, we do quite a few each day. It goes like this before we even get started with the weights: - 50 crunches - Turn over and do 30 push-ups - 50 More Crunches - Turn and do 30 more push-ups - Throw your legs straight up in the air, and your arms stright up. Now crunch up your hands to the celling. We do 50 of these. - Turn and 30 more push-ups - Now we do 50 bycicles - Turn over again for the last 30 push-ups. What's that... 120 push-ups a day? After a few weeks of it, you get kinda used to it so they aren't too incredibly hard. But on topic... yeah I have no idea how many I can do consecuativly  .
  22. Ok. That's really getting old now. What can you say... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery :P Has it already been said? I didn't feel the need to read everyone's replies considering this was a personal opinion type of topic. Get the sand out of your butt  . P.S. - You do realize kid's do come to Tip.it. Congradulations, you just crushed them  . P.P.S. - Protein Shakes?
  23. Oh yea, they changed everything. I mean if the owner of A & F commited suicide, half the population would die.  On topic: Don't hafta shave yet  and I don't look forward to it! Don't diss A & F :x (or Hollister). Besides, why would you want to have a freakin hair body anyways? Women love the smoothness of my face, and... well, the point I'm getting at is shaving in places other than your face has it's benefits.
  24. Which level are you on now? I'd help if I knew  . If you would have read the hints/rules, you'd know  . BUT, since I am a nice guy, I'll go ahead tell you no. None of the riddles on Not Pr0n (including it's passwords) have any spaces and/or caps.
  25. Santa's not real? NEws to my ears  .
