  1. EDIT: Fixed it myself. Thanks for all the help guys :shame: lol. But yeah.. used Windows Encoder to turnt he AVI into a WMV and I was then able to use the seeker thing.
  2. Glad to see some interest generated in this thread \ ! But yeah, I'm only on the medium level as of right now and my favorite songs I've played so far have both been encore songs (War Pigs by Black Sabbeth and Sweet Child o' Mine by Guns 'N Roses). Good fun. Great time passer. PLayed about 5 songs today, looked at the clock, and noticed 35 minutes had gone by  .
  3. Well for me it would have to be a Wii. Why? Here are some good reasons (IMO): #1 - I have always been a Nintendo fan. I don't know why. It almost makes me wanna jump for joy remembering the old games I used to play on my NES back when I was quite young. Contra, Ghost Busters, Zelda, ect. Granted I was very young (about 5 to 7 years old if I remember correctly) I still loved my NES even though I wasn't old enough to be "awesome" at any of the games. I always liked the Nintendo series because of the fun and imaginary games they came out with. Especially on the SNES (Crono Trigger, Mario RPG, Zelda III, Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, Super Punchout... just to name a few). #2 - In relation to #1, I want the Wii because I also want to continue to play the titles that I grew up with. By this, I'm talking about the games they are continuing to make. Zelda (my favorite game/series in the entire world), Metroid, Super Smash Brothers, (most likely) a Mario Kart, Sonic, and games of that sort that have been with Nintendo since it's early days. #3 - Xbox, honestly, doesnt interest me that much . Excluding the Halo games and some random medioker (spelling?) games and it's online capabilities it isn't really all that great to me. #4 - The Wii is something new. Nintendo has always amazed me at what they do. They are the very pioneers of the gaming world. And that excites me!
  4. Well okay. So you may be thinking to yourself (as I first did), "Wtf. Guitar Hero II? What a homosexual looking game!" Oh no my friends. Not at all. It is quite possibly the most fun/interesting game that I have played in the past few months! Now I won't go into too much detail of the game, because that isn't what this topic is about. But in GHII (Guitar Hero II) you pick a character, guitar, and you name your own band. You start out at your high school's "Battle of the Bands" and eventually move your way up to playing in a stadium infront of thousands! There are 4 different settings to the game. Easy (which uses only 3 colored buttons), Medium (which uses 4 colored buttons along with more difficult notes), Hard (which uses all 5 colored buttons along with more notes), and Expert (which basicly means you are the most coordinated person on the planet). But enough about what the game is. Lets get on to why I made this entire topic: How good are you at this game? I've only had it for 2 weeks because my cousin left it at my house over his thanksgiving break from college :-w . I've played it a bit each day for the 2 weeks I've had it and I have beaten 28 of 28 songs on Easy mode, and 13 of 40 on Medium. I gotta admit... Medium is a ton different than Easy but I'm getting the hang of the finger motions and stuff. Guess it would really come in handy if I knew how to play a real guitar \ :-s .
  5. Thanks guys for the suggestions :) . And I have Morrowing: The Elder Scrolls, but I can not (for the life of me) figure out how to actually start into the game really good. To be honest, I can't even figure out where to go and what to do first. It's so massivly large and confusing that I don't see myself getting that interested in it anytime soon :-k . I used to own Fable. In fact, after beating it, I took it and traded it in for store credit to the Rhino Games store in town :-w . Kinghts of the Old Republic seems to be the crowd favorite on this thread. Perhaps I'll try that one out sometime soon. And thanks again guys!
  6. Okay so I'll just get right down to it. I am bored to death. Football has ended. After lifting weights after school, I normally get home around 4:30 with absolutely nothing to do. I need a video game. A game that will take a lot of time to complete. I'm talking about an RPG type of game or a large adventure type game. As of right now, I'm looking for a game on my Xbox that will bring me this pleasure. I enjoy games like Zelda, Final Fanatasy: Crystal Cronicles, Crono Trigger, Quest 64, Secret of Mana, Mario RPG, and more that are similar. Basicly I'm looking for long adventure games (like Zelda or Crystal Cronicles) or an RPG type games (Crono Trigger/Mario RPG... where you have a party and you have to choose an attack for each enemy and stuff). If anybody has any suggestions to games then it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance  . Oh, and please no "you should try this game!" if it isn't for the Xbox. Not Xbox 360, not GameCube, not PS2... Xbox.
  7. *Sigh* Look at the first post 'This doesnt work for skillers or pures' Some people :-w My mistake. I didn't see it... I'm not even going to poke fun at your 79 total posts. So please, don't act like a msart [wagon] : . Ok. so excluding skillers think about this. somebody with 115 combat and 1700 skill total. According to this little chart, he has about a 14.6. Wrong. This guy is deserves a lot better credit than what this chart is supposed to give him  .
  8. What about these skiller players who stay at level 3 combat but have 500-1k skill total? Unless you are serious about combat and skills, this little comparison chart won't work at all. Cause you could have 100 skill total and be level 3 combat and have a rating of 33  .
  9. As everyone has already stated, the only way to bring cooking back to it's "glory days" is to remove the ability to cook fish. Which will never happen. I do support the idea of a complete overhaul torwards the cooking guild. I especially support raising its level requierment considering cooking is so dern easy these days :-$ Cook All :-$ . The mining and fishing guild take a whole lot longer and harder work to get into (these days) than the cooking guild. I'd suggest putting the cooking guild's level requierment 50 to 70 or somewhere in that range.
  10. Even though mithril ore seems to sell at a fairly decent price, it still takes a long time to get a whole lot of ores. The only problem is it takes a LONG time to do just 1 trip of this mining. Plus, mithril ore isn't commonly bought (atleast that I've ever noticed) and most people probably prefer buying it in bulk. So it'd take a LONG time to get a lot of ores too. Good idea though for a bit of pocket change I suppose. But I don't see it working in the long run if you ask me.
  11. This is wierd. I can understand a couple 10+ hour days if you have nothing to do. Especially in the summer. But how does one manage to maintain a social life (this means going out with people.. not e-mailing/calling them), hold a job (even a part time job or job where you work only weekends), and manage to get a good nights sleep when you play for 11-14 hours per day :-k . Thats bad. Yeah, it is unhealthy too... but thats just... sad. If you play that much then I can only assume 3 different scenerios: #1 - You dropped out of school (high school or college). You must still live with your parents because playing 13 hours a day AND getting sleep doesn't leave you enough hours in the day for a good job (or any job for that matter). So you can't afford your own place. #2 - You are in college and take online classes. But even still... I don't see how you could have time with those classes when half your day is runescape and the other half is (or atleast should be) sleep. #3 - You're out of school, married, and you are a stay at home dad. Apparently not a very good one though... 13 hours a day on Runescape? I feel sorry for your kids  .
  12. Sadly, you didn't =D> :shame: . I've never really collected anything. Years back before I got members, I used to have quite a few tinderboxes because everytime I went to do any fishing at Karamja I'd forget mine.. so I'd end up buying 1 fromt he general store there and then throwing it in the bank when I got done with it. I believe the count got as high as 30 to 40... but they've been long gone.
  13. Well I quit Runescape (a.k.a not getting on it very often and when I DO get on it is never for long) months back. But I'd say I'm averaging a good 12 or 13 hours per month on runescape. That averages out to being around 40 minutes a day on Runescape. Some months I average 10 or less hours playing... so I'm hardly an addict anymore.
  14. But that is just it. You don't deserve any updates. F2P is just a massive demo, whether you think it is or not. It is to inspire people to get members... not to make people happy and want to stay on F2P. The more non-graphical updates F2P gets, the more you guys will think, "Hey. We got a cool update. Why should I buy members? If we complain and wait long enough, we'll eventually get what we want." Nuff said?
  15. I'll back you up on that too. Because I too (back when I used to play) recieved a PM here on Tip.it from some random person who had only about 6 or 7 total posts. It is quite a long story on why we needed to talk in-game, but to make a long story short he told me (in the PM here on Tip.it) to add him in-game. It was a Mod name too. I called BS. But reguardless I ended up getting a PM from the mod in-game and I felt pretty dumb.
  16. This post is pointless. It also proves that people (like you) shouldn't be allowed to drink if they can't hold down the fort.
  17. You can't read the text. It doesn't look too thought out and well coordinated (to me anyways). The camera angel(s) and movement is teh poo. Sorry. But I didn't enjoy it too much :notalk: .
  18. Your name doesn't set off any bells :-k . But then again, I DID just get back to the forums after about a 5 month break \ . Welcome back.
  19. How can you be a 3 year veteran if you've been playing for nearly 2 years (according to what you said) :-k . Oh well. Makes no difference. I don't know you, but lgood luck with whatever you do!

Runescape lost it's pep (to me atleast) after getting keylogged twice and being majorly backstabbed by 3 really close in-game friends (who all plotted against me to split the profit  ). Of course this was nearly a year ago. I've never liked leveling skills... simply merchanting. It's quite a long story, but lets just say I got tired of merchanting millions and losing it. I say take a break though. A couple weeks off. Maybe even a month. See how you feel then.
  21. I've never alched anything too extreme. I do recall about 6 months before i had quit, I was high alching some rune mediums I'd gotten from lessers. I accidentally had removed my rune large so it was somewhere in the mix. Oh well.
  22. Playing time won't matter much for me, considering I do not play Runescape anymore *points to siggy* \ . But back when I used to play Runescape, my playing time used to drop dramatically in the fall because of football (american football... not soccer). I'd play tons in the summer, but would rarely find myself even playing Runescape during the weekdays while football was going on. Considering school, practice, supper, and then homework... I normally was too tired and it was too late for me to sit on some computer game. For those of you who do not play an after school sport or do not have an after school job, I don't see how your playing time could suffer too bad. even with lots of homework, if you started it right after school you could definetly fisnish it by 5:00. Atleast in most cases.
  23. *Raises Hand* I'm from the olden days. Now, granted I didn't help pave the way for any skills. I wasn't an uber leet famous pker. But still... I did joined way back when Runescape was young. December 2001 in fact *points to siggy* \ . You wouldn't think of it looking at my combat and skills though. Perhaps it is because I've mostly merchanted my entire RS life :-k . Up until I quit anyways.
  24. This is quite possibly the stupid "time consuming" thing I've heard in a while. Wow. Sorry for the flaming, but just... wow.

You guys are talking about soccer. Not football. Get it right lame-o's. .. I'm joking
