For range, it's pretty much essential to get Void for good training. It's fairly easy to get from PC, and is well worth it. Edit : And free! Actually, you will earn money on it!

And if you think it's bad training for 20k exp with a scimitar, just wait... Other than that I can't see any other quicker way for you to train, although strength potions will speed it up a bit.

True, but is that because you find the mighty banshees hit fairly often/hardish? 'Cause I found that straight away. Sure, they drop decent stuff but I didn't think it was worth it...I was having to bank after 15 mins :oops:

I know you probably bust a lot of money on skills etc, but with your combat stats, shouldn't you have a DFS by now? It's like...amazing for castle wars. You probably have your reasons, I'm just curious :P

Yeah you should be able to do it if you learn how to lure certain monsters, etc, while taking your time. getting to wave 30 isn't hard, your levels should be fine. I agree with ryder (When don't I?), perhaps you should consider a full blown attempt. You don't need expensive items to get/kill Jad, just a degree of common sense and the ability to breathe calmly :lol:

Experiments, Yaks (after Freminnik Isles quest, or at least start it I think), or, slightly lower exp but with less clicking, go to the place near Bedabin Camp, in the desert, with a Sara or Zammy item, and the bandits there will attack you. It's lazy training, but it does the job. Also with that method, you'd take 'x' amount of noted food, 100k or so in cash, sell the food to the general store, then buy it back unnoted. Other than that, you can try dagannoths, DT skeles (wear a salve amulet), or the temple on Ape Atoll. But my best advice would be : do slayer. It's more interesting and, while slower, with a black mask/slayer helm you'll hit harder, while gaining exp in slayer and potentially great drops.

Wow hold up...Marigolds sell for 2K+? Why is that? Marigolds are a secondary item for making bull ant pouches.

I have a similar problem, but not exactly the same. On the previous 2 updates my friends have sent "random" pm's to me, leaving me to think whether they were insane or not. Thankfully they weren't, but for some odd reason I get the System Update In 3:00 message about 1 minute after my friends do, so as soon as it gets to 1 minute on the clock, I'm logged out, even though technically it has 1 minute left to run. Edit : I think OP is saying something different than the Login Server problem we're having at the moment.

Hey guys, great to have TIF back :P Anyway. I want 90+ range, and I've heard from several people that the exp from grey chins is not too far from red chins, while being a lot cheaper. Is this correct? How much exp should I get per chin at the MM dungeon? I'm using full void, a few range pots, and 1 of the range bonus prayers. How many chins would it take me to get to 90-93ish? 20k chins? 30k? I'm currently level 82 and while an exact amount is too much to ask, an approximate guess would be much appreciated. Is there a proper "technique" to getting the most exp out of each chin? I've heard that you're supposed to get the monkeys/skeletons into a 3x3 square and hit the middle one. Do they respawn where you kill them? Or do you have to go back to lure them each time? Sorry if I'm asking too much but a good range level is a big priority for me at the moment and any other advice is much appreciated.

I think it's some sort of cross-game chat function relating to Jagex games. Also, did anyone notice, in the first update today (Mon 25th Feb), they mentioned the word 'FunOrb'. In the update after that, however, it seems to have been removed. Unless I'm not reading properly..

Surely this would only be for people who had 99 mage or something? It would be a real way to distinguish themselves from the rest of the RS magic 'community'. But as mentioned this does mean that richer players who can afford loads of laws could tele to and from banks, resulting in even more money, which is exactly what Jagex is trying to take out of the game.
