  1. I don't understand the question. The title says you need money, ok.. But..your post says you need 100 lobs...and then you post your combat level and say you have a high range level...? So, let me get this straight : You need money for 100 lobs? Which is what, 35k? 35k ain't hard to get.
  2. It's a close one, but for me the bank is the most important. It will help soooo much, even if it isn't perfect, it's got to be better than stressing around looking for that lost quest item. But also, can't wait for the new achievement diary. The item lending will be a nice bonus, but not something essential to my 'scaping.
  3. Edge if you can. Plus, the armour helps speed it up any way, so you might as well combine the two.
  4. Agreed, but I also feel even more bitter about the fact I can't play HD. I have to say since the update I've lost most of my appetite for RS.
  5. Am I the only one realising that the picture with the dragon looks as though the dragon is attacking the island, not the player? If it was Dragon Slayer Pt.2, don't you think the Dragon would be after the player rather than some coconut trees? "Raaargh! I hate coconuts!" - sound of dragon breathing fire - But seriously, it looks to me as though the character in the picture has summoned that dragon to attack the island..Which is, just plain odd. I'm starting to think it's mostly just a promo picture to show off.
  6. Ahh yes the invisible f2p Green Dragons... #-o Indeed. We are all not as wise as you, oh Holy one..
  7. Yeah I'd say you're too far away in most skills to be thinking of a 99 just yet, although your combat skills are pretty nicely rounded. Slayer is my favourite skill to recommend for people like you, because it's such a broad skill once you get into it. Essentially, it : ~Raises combat skills ~Earns money ~Gets charms for summoning ~Gets herbs for herblore ~Gets seeds for farming ~Is more fun + varied than power training ~Gets you clue scrolls ~Lets you use a black mask ;) Don't just buy an easy skill. I've tried that and halfway through the attempts I realised I would get no satisfaction out of mindlessly grinding away on one skill.
  8. Less exclamation marks please next time. Green dragons, mining, hill giants, fish lobs, etc. If you've tried one of those and you're not making good f2p money you've got problems.
  9. Simple. Plant the best trees, fruit trees, herbs, crops, bushes you possibly can. Pay the farmers if you want a guaranteed amount of exp, otherwise buy supercompost, plant them. Then do the quests with farming experience, use magic secateurs to get the most out of your herbs, etc. And in the meantime do Vinesweeper for small side experience. It sounds so easy but I always forget #-o
  10. I think it's ~20k greys with Void + range pots. Not sure about reds. Remember, though, you can't chin at Ape Atoll, so the exp is less in other places. So my figure is probably wrong :wall:
  11. They have to be in the house when you enter. Generally people who host open Guilded Altars are alching or something, so they're in the house 90% of the time.
  12. Well yes, but you don't bury the bones. You 'use' them on the guilded altar when the two candles are lit for the best exp. It's extremely quick if you use any decent teleports. Also, 85+ def for soloing, preferably 90+.
  13. Greater Demons > Dusties for crimsons. Dusties have a decent crimson drop rate but they drop a lot of other ones as well. So if you want purely crimsons then it's : Waterfiends > Black Demons at CT > Greater Demons. 60k an hour is possible if you use super attack and strength potions.
  14. Well, the major "fast" money only really comes from Armadyl or Sara at GWD. But to be anywhere near efficient at those you'll need : 85+ Range at the least, 90+ is great. Unfortunately chinning at Ape Atoll has been effectively removed so training range isn't such a buyable skill to train up quick. Expect to take some time with that. 70 Prayer, and 85+ Defence. Once you have those 3 skills you could easily go to one of those bosses and hope for a big drop. A few drop in a small team could earn you 60-70m pretty quick if you commit to it. For the other two bosses, all you need really is 70 prayer and 80+ melee stats, obviously if 85+ then great. But realistically it's going to take you a long time to get the skills to get to the big drops from Arma and Sara. And even then you're not sure of any drops.. Slayer is a good way to earn money once you're 75+. But not as "instant" as GWD. And just another point : BGS really is NOT worth it. Not even with 85+ stats. There are much better things to spend 30m+ on, ala DFS. EDIT : Please, please, please don't train melee stats at Yaks. Do slayer.
  15. Not seen the new one before - that looks bad lol! am i the only one to disagree with all these ranters, EVERYTHING looks better, its called texture, i know yur scared of change and bump mapping but its not a bad thing@@!! Texture? Texture? The new one (which has now been changed again) looked like a blurred orange mass of emmenthal..
  16. [Answered] Hey all, I have a black demon task for slayer and I want to use the Chaos Tunnels because I've heard it's much much better for charms.. I've never used Chaos Tunnels though, but I have done the quest needed to use them..I need advice on : ~How to get to the black demons ~If there's a safespot I can use to log out if a certain world is crowded ~Whether to take the normal prayer equipment I would at Taverley I'm very confused by the map here http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=chaos_tunnels.htm Thanks for any help.
  17. Best guide I've read in a while, and I like your confidence that slayer can be done without Guthans. Yes, it's very helpful at some places but it is definitely not needed 100% of the time. I try to tell people this but most don't believe me. Still looks like there's a bit of work to do but so far, so great. Bookmarked.
  18. It doesn't take much imagination.. Pyramid Plunder? Agility training spots where you get hurt? Castle Wars? It's not hard to use your brain -.- Edit : Least, it shouldn't be :P
  19. Ok, don't know if anyone's posted this so.. When you're wearing a feather headress it makes it look like your ears are a foot in front of your face (lulz.), and also, I tried to wear a green feather headress. It said : You can't wear this item. Despite the fact I was wearing it before the update... And also wearing some capes (guthix cloak for example) with Karils makes it look like you're wearing ghostly :wall: Both on low detail.
  20. Looks like a resolution problem. Experiment with different settings. Right click on your desktop, then hit 'Properties>Settings>Colors'. I have mine set to 'High Color [16 bit] and it works fine. There are a few other options to choose from so try them and if one of them still doesn't work... :ohnoes:
  21. huh, don't quite get what your saying. He's saying they [Jagex] should have kept the old RS2 graphics, and make these new HD options into a "RS3" (even though it's not, it's a good way to explain it.). And he's right. They did this with classic so why not with the old detail modes? The ironic thing of course is you can still play RSC. And I bet they didn't change those graphics, did they? Anyway : Likes : The new pictures of HD, especially in Fullscreen. It looks great, I have to admit. The new improved textures on things like walls, carpets, etc even in the Low Detail mode. Some of the new emotes. Dislikes : That there's no old detail option. The character models/avatars/sprites. They look cartoony and boys look like girls while some girls look like boys. The colours of items are completely off. There's no way to achieve the same nice aesthetics of a good outfit as you did before. The lag/bugs (although I do accept this is a BETA, that's fine.). Really, really hates : Smug high spec PC users who can run HD in Fullscreen and then post on here and RSOF about how there's absolutely no lag and how everyone else should shut up, and that if you don't have a good computer, too bad.
  22. well the majority of the regulars on here prefer their forum to run smooth. the regulars should have more rights than the guests. you can take your whole 59 posts elsewhere Ah yes the old bigger-the-post-count-the-more-important-you-are attitude  The regulars do have more rights than guest. For example : they have the right to post.
