  1. Well you can already have a dragon as a pet, so it's unlikely they'll release them as a familiar. Dragons are strong anyway so releasing a weak version of one would be pointless, and releasing a strong one would be way overpowered. Tiger, again, unlikely considering we have Graahk/Larupia/Kyatt which are closely related to tigers in terms of design and look. Back on topic : I really, really hope the Phoenix is a strong, pretty high summon, and it would make so much sense for it to be a healing familiar, especially given the whole 'rebirth' concept that surrounds a phoenix. Ashes could be a second for it, or some kind of fire based item. I would love it to be like that, but you never know...
  2. Nice blog \ Really well laid out etc, good luck with your goals.
  3. Use Chaeldar for most of your tasks then every 10 and 50th task do a Duradel task for extra points. Dh legs, maybe switch to veracs skirt, has more uses. Yes guthans is worth the no food unless you feel you can get to 68 summoning soon. Buy a black mask ASAP, then worry about prayer when you have some cash available.
  4. Wait until at least your post is on the second page before you bump. Knew it was something like that, thank you
  5. Bring crush + stab weapons. Also wait more than 14 minutes before bumping.
  6. I know it's a mistake but still  Would be a Jagex style reference (Jeremy Clerksin anyone?) but sadly I doubt if he has a reaction to you using it on him.
  7. Get them in order of : Fury, Chest, Warrior, SS, Ranger Boots, Axe, Crystal Bow. Currently you can afford the first 3. How convenient : Personally I'd swap d legs for veracs skirt, it has more uses. But each to their own.
  8. Grind = Pestle and Mortar in Herblore Baby Blue Dragons because they don't require an anti-dragon fire shield, and are much lower level (although they do give less slayer xp). Yes they do give less than half the slayer exp but they're about 2x as fast to kill, especially if you want to range them \ Bank scales, then once you've completed your task grind them with a pestle and mortar (you get no xp), sell them on GE, you make about 50gp more on each than you do if you don't bother grinding them. Also I would advise bringing an antifire shield along even though the baby blues don't breathe fire the 'mother' dragons are very close and if you're not careful could surprise you with an attack.
  9. Taverley dungeon, range the baby blue dragons there and pick up the blue dragon scales there, which are worth ~650gp, more if you grind them. Keep the baby dragon bones if you want, they sell for ~870gp, or bury them.
  10. Very good idea. Forgive me mirthas but you didn't post the ore you wanted to mine, I'm guessing it's gold ore you're talking about. If it is, I think it's OK exp, and OK money. I went from 65-68 with it and got a couple of crafting levels out of it too, alongside some magic exp from alching. However a better route is, set your house to Brimhaven, house tab, exit, run north west, and there's like 9-10 gold ores there. Get your fill, then duel ring to castle wars. Rinse and repeat.
  11. Actually the no fail level at Ape Atoll is 75. But apart from that you are right about Dorgeshkaan, people think that because you may occasionally fail it's worse XP. It's not.
  12. Ok fair points there Kent  Heat of the moment and all. I should simplify it. Slayer is more fun. For ME. This is the crux of my point. This is why I argue with friends about it, and why they shouldn't do something bad like bandits. I realise now that bandits are indeed a very bad example, forgive me on being slightly behind the times here #-o And to play devil's advocate here kent, why don't you recommend more beneficial forms of training for exp? No agenda here, just wondering.
  13. Using knives on slayer tasks is probably a decent idea (although some monsters i'd recommend a rune crossbow with maybe mithril bolts at your levels. Doing slayer would get you charms for summoning, decent exp in both range and melee. Agility, do it at Gnome Stronghold until 35 then use the training area at Barbarian outpost. Thieving, I can't really remember how I got up at those levels. Probably stalls in Ardougne, i.e silk stall or baker's stall. 85 mage, eh, most people would do alching. But it's not profitable (well..unless you do some part of it yourself), so be prepared to take a fairly decent loss on that if you want 85. In short, do agility first really, then perhaps move on to slayer.
  14. Exactly, I can't believe the amount of people that say slayer is bad experience. It's not, unless you can only stand grinding your way through bandit after bandit (or whatever choice of dull enemy) gaining 80k+ an hour. Zammy brew + super strength + slayer helm is always more fun than grinding or powering your way to a level. Not to mention the charms you miss out on.. And also in response to the original post, saying that slayer is dangerous is a frankly lame excuse. Dangerous? Of course it's dangerous, you're fighting monsters often higher than you. But there are always ways around that. But since some people can't bear the thought they might have to use a bank on occasion, slayer sucks, right? And slayer is bad for training range? Maybe it's not great, no, but if you want to blow 30m on chins so you can claim you're a range master (because you have a spare 30m), fine, but what does that have to do with slayer? How is it slayer's fault you can't blitz your way through range levels with some explosive red squirrels? I still love slayer and always will, and I'll continue recommending it over any other form of combat training.
  15. Ah well, 20 and 45 minutes are quite different ;)
  16. I think I must misunderstand this, but I have to ask anyway. It takes you 45 minutes to check 4 allotments?
  17. What does this mean? For all we know, the mith dragon dungeon is nearby and there is a door that wont open... EDIT!!!: I am just doing a hellhound task in the "members dungeon" and a Guardian of Armadyl came and gave me a paper, will post back what it is about. Give news. Yeah the baxtorian waterfall > halloween, although I will enjoy some RS tricking. \
  18. I think you're overcomplicating it, lol. Everything you said is true but he's quite a way off some of those things. Plus, do you really count slayer as a combat stat in itself? I don't. But yes slayer is very profitable in the long term. To answer original question, range. What should i kill to get my range up? Thanks, pto6. Bronze or iron knives at experiments or fire giants at waterfall, or magic shortbow at fire giants. Experiments are probably better exp, with lower def and high HP, but fire giants have a few decent drops.

  20. This. But you could look at it like : Master wand = better stats = more accuracy = faster kills.
