  1. Do you kill them inside the encampment or in the main dungeon? If you're in the "main" dungeon, don't kill the 89's, they hit way more often than either the 71's or 83's.
  2. Sounds like you're not wearing any kind of torso/chest item. Also get rid of D long, it's way outdated, use a dragon scim, or a whip. Overall your gear is still pretty good, and also change your amulet for Amulet of Glory or Fury. And yes, definitely get a rune defender from the warrior's guild.

    SS?

Yes, buy it. You can always sell it back and if you train intelligently (i.e, slayer or at a monster that has good drops), you won't lose any money on it even if the price comes down a lot (which it shouldn't, too much).
  4. I only agree with this bit of what you said, I do think it's a slight oversight on Kent's part. But overall his guide is very good, and being the only large scale one that I find easy to follow, I'd recommend it to most people. Anyway this thread isn't here to discuss the values of his guide, it's to help the original poster. Dachef, hold on to your blue charms for later use. You don't have to hold onto them forever, but if you feel like you can wait a bit longer, do so. At your level I would continue to make bloated leeches, since their 2nd is cheaper to obtain. A bagged plant costs 1.1k at the moment, while raw beef is 63gp. The shards for bloated leeches cost 2925gp, while the shards for a stranger plant costs 3200gp, and the exp comes in at 215xp for bloated leeches and 281xp for stranger plants. So you're getting 66xp less per pouch while saving 1312gp per pouch. If my maths are correct Stranger Plants cost 15.2gp per xp, while bloated leeches are 13.8gp per xp. I think. So, yes, I would stick to Leeches. Also, if some of my other maths is correct, at level 67 you can't trade Stranger Plant pouches for shards. Guess you could alch them but it's another factor to add in. Hope any of this helps. And I know Kent will unravel my poor maths somehow
  5. I wouldn't use the tools for a little while until Jagex confirms their status/corrects glitches etc.
  6. And yet both he and you insist on doing the same.
  7. Hi, are you saying you're ruling out combat? If you are then you're going to have to do quite some skilling. First of all, your hunter and farming appear to be 1, or unranked. Get your farming to at least 32 - then you can grow ranarr seeds while you're away doing something else, and make an easy 15-30k profit per patch if you're using supercompost. Do that on 4 patches and it equates to, what, 60-100k profit, for about 3 minutes running/clicking and 0 minutes paying attention. Hunter is also easy to raise and 63 shouldn't take too long to start catching red chins. But 63 may seem a long way off to you. Your WC level is overall probably your best for making money - Yews, Eucalyptus or Magic trees to cut. If you want to fish, do swordfish/tuna. Fishing sharks isn't as fast cash as most people think they are.

  9. Ok well you must have been lucky because I always found people teled when near to death anyways. And lots of people prayed, and lots of people ate to full HP. There's nothing wrong with it per se, except those people unfortunately like you, that believe in not doing these things. Bad luck, or more organised players. Fight fire with fire. I don't see what you're getting at, they're using a weapons' special attack. Big whoop? Or are you referring still to PJ'ing? In which case see my above comment. You can't trust other people not to kill you, it's your own fault for letting your HP drop that low. Do you have a problem against rangers? Or players with a DDS? If you do you have a problem with RS. This may be true, but you can't just expect everything to be back the "way it was". New PK'ers use new techniques, and you have to try to overcome it. PK'ing is a challenge ; rise up to it.
  10. All of this. And I hope you realise the impact of AK47's on millions of people across the globe, then perhaps you wouldn't say they're so FTW. [/politics]
  11. Nope not a waste. Just a test :) Loan it and see if you find it worth spending all that money on. With how little BGS fluxuates, you could leave an offer at minimum, buy overnight, and sell it for the SAME or higher price a day or two later. If you can get a friend to loan you any GS, test it out and see how you like it. But if he doesn't have all the cash at that time..
  12. Correct. This is also a good idea if you want to camp/don't want to slay. Black Demons at Chaos Tunnels drop crimsons around 70 times out of 100 I'd say, and you can range them pretty easily there. Dust Devils at Chaos Tunnels can also be good, and probably more profit than Black Demons although less charms, and again, it is possible to range them there.
  13. You used to be able to give someone an item of any value before the trade limit, for any amount of time. Of course the only way you'd get the item back is if the player you gave it to decided to give it back. Generally you would share items like dragon battleaxes for the special, etc.
  14. Here is the setup I generally use : To explain : [*:20b10xmu]The 2x Trollheim teleport runes are for the Trollheim tele trick. [*:20b10xmu]Broad bolts for KC, although you could alternatively use high powered knives. [*:20b10xmu]1 War Tortoise pouch to start off. Put an additional 2 Tortoise pouches inside, or just 1. [*:20b10xmu]Switch to Armadyl pendant when getting KC. [*:20b10xmu]You can switch ROL for Archer's ring if you like. [*:20b10xmu]Use DFS if you have one. If you do, switch the Unholy book for it and then switch Karil's top for Zammy D'hide. My brews : restores ratio may be a little off, but this is just a rough estimate of what I personally take. Hope that helps, and good luck at Kree.
  15. Just because you choose to go against the grain doesn't mean they have to cater to you. I don't think you know what you're talking about. Just because some people ignore some skills doesn't mean everything should be the way those people want it to be. If you don't like the fact pures (and, presumably, you) without the required defence level can't weild those items, there's a simple answer. Back on topic ; I enjoyed the game for the first few rounds but eventually if you have a good enough combat level it's too easy to overpower the other team and camp outside their base. However collecting clay and making items ends up in more points, so with a couple of changes, it could be great.
  16. Golds - Fire Giants, Hellhounds, basically anything Crimsons - Greater Demons, Dust Devils (65 slay), Black Demons at CT Greens - Jellies, Bloodveld, Baby Black Dragons Blues - Don't "farm" them Basically, you can go to all those monsters through slayer. I would disagree with fighting metal dragons, it's unefficient unless it's a slayer task.
  17. Good luck with 99 range although i would recommend doing aviansies rather than black drags, and then get your charms some other way. but i guess its up to you how you want to do it. just get 99! \ :twss:
  18. Nope. You can only be assigned slayer monsters of a particular level, when you reach that slayer level. Hope that's cleared it up for you.
  19. I'm guessing this is hypothetical and hasn't actually happened. It won't happen. If it has happened, could be a bug.
