  1. Pretty much yep, you really need the attack levels to help strength and defence become more efficient. Also I hate to bring this up or sound like a WBM, but can you clear this up please? :
  2. I'm guessing this. If everything wasn't turned on (cough), and you weren't in a lootshare world, it would be a huge gaffe
  3. At 71 farming I'm surprised you think allotments are a waste of time. Watermelons are good experience and provide payment for pineapple trees, while strawberries are fast and cheap. Every little XP helps. The simple answer to the OP is : grow the best of everything you can, everywhere you can. You'll get your level very quick. Pay farmers to look after your crops everywhere you can, and use supercompost everywhere. Easy.
  4. Armadyl > DFS. Defender wins for slayer.
  5. True except from 90/92+ the Dorgesh-kaan course is recommended.
  6. You should always finish tasks in 1 trip, ideally, unless 1) you're banking drops like hides/bones 2) if you're given a huge amount of a tough task. And it also depends on what slayer master they are using. To answer the original question, yes, it's worth it, because the defence you get from Guthan's is a freebie, alongside it's healing ability.
  7. Well said. He doesn't have a bunyip, though. Ray : If you can afford it go for a Fury and a piece of Armadyl armour, if not 2 pieces, if you can afford, especially if you plan on slaying with range. I know you said you don't want to get a Fury but honestly, it should be one of the cornerstones of your combat, along with stuff like Barrows Gloves, Rune Defender, Dragon Boots, etc. And yes terrorbirds are decent to make, since you'll use a lot of them if you do any kind of skilling. Probably way more than you think you will :
  8. When you leave you just fall if you are below the requirement. However a summer pie is in 2 parts, so if you keep half of it, you could always eat the 2nd half when you want to leave. There's no reason why you'd want to (since actually falling is a quicker exit towards the nearest teleport lever), but, if for some reason you did want to, you could.
  9. Well, for starters, I meant Vulxai's post, which admittedly I misunderstood. I think we all agree that SS is best for him, considering he doesn't look like he wants to slay (42 slayer), and he has the cash to buy an SS. If cost is a factor, hey, why not PC it  p.s. on the armadyl, I would go with that too
  10. At what point did ultimatballr say SS was better overall? None.
  11. You don't really. But I agree, just farm and MTK to cover the losses, might as well do sharks.
  12. Sara Sword. Has more uses than any other candidate, and you can always sell it back.
  13. Gear Setup : [*:3j7di4ex]Robin/Armadyl Helm/Void Range Helm [*:3j7di4ex]Fury [*:3j7di4ex]Armadyl Chest/Karil's Top/Void Top [*:3j7di4ex]Armadyl Skirt/Karil's Skirt/Void Bottom [*:3j7di4ex]Ranger Boots [*:3j7di4ex]Archer's Ring [*:3j7di4ex]Barrows Gloves/Void Gloves [*:3j7di4ex]Accumulator [*:3j7di4ex]DFS/Unholy Book [*:3j7di4ex]Broad Bolts/Addy Bolts/other bolts like Diamond E or something, for metal dragons [*:3j7di4ex]Cannon for tasks you want to cannon Red is for weaker tasks that don't need the accuracy/defence of Armadyl. You shouldn't really be using Karil's unless you don't have the ~19m or so it costs for chest + skirt, but seeing as you said money isn't a problem, go for Arma, it has better defence and range attack bonuses. Also, I don't know what your summoning level is, but I'm guessing higher than 58. From there you can use Karamthulhu overlords, Force Regents, Hydras, Geyster Titans, and of course, Steel Titans, for extra ranged exp in a multicombat situation, where you don't need a BOB or healing familiar. Hope that helps, and I would take gun_hippy up on that offer ;)
  14. Ok, thanks guys, I went and checked myself. Turns out that, while technically you can train there without completing the quest, it is impossible to leave and go back inside if you haven't done the quest (or have the scout with you). So, I did have to finish the quest to use it freely.
  15. Nice 8/10 \ 1800 is a pretty hawt total to have, now get 1900 ;)
  16. Not really. Part of the charm of the Bunyip is you can eat the plentiful raw fish drops with it's scroll ability. Void Spinners don't have that option :( Everyone has pretty much mentioned the best way to do it however if you are struggling try: 1. Maximise your MAGE protection. A good start is to get rid of you Rune Defender and use a Mind Shield. You lose a little attack/strength bonus, but you will get hit far less. (I do this with Scarabites) 2. Keep pro-range on all the time. 3. Drink your pots earlier. You will need more pots but the extra boosts will prolong the trip. 4. Bring some food. 5. Guthans. Guthans does work, and it works quite well as it has the crush attack. However if they attack with mage then you are liable to get hit as Guthans has rubbish mage defense. Usually you can heal without getting hit too bad as the mage attack is rare. This is a bit risky though tho if you want to try this bring a one click tele with you. Agreed except, I wouldn't know about Guthans. Perhaps it is worth it, perhaps not. Also the Mind Shield thing, I would disagree with also. They're using an SS \ Maybe Drag Scimmy and Mind Shield would make trips last longer. :wall: Crush attack. Need I say more? ;)
  17. Do you need to complete the quest to be able to train there, or just get to the point where you get access to the dungeon? Thanks. Answer : You need to complete the quest to allow you to leave and re-enter the dungeon without the scout.
  18. If you don't have 68 summoning then : [*:3h4hkzpv]Use Guthan's Plate and Skirt all the time, and keep Helm and Warspear in your inventory for switching to, when you need to heal. [*:3h4hkzpv]Use dragonhide or Karil's top and bottom for defence against monsters that attack with magic. [*:3h4hkzpv]Fury, Whip, Warrior Ring, Rune Defender. [*:3h4hkzpv]Barrows Gloves.

  20. Like what? Anything that doesn't need particularly good defence. Plus it's nice having the rest of the set, because if you decide to get melee helm as well, then, it's very useful at stuff like waterfiends etc.
  21. No, I think you probably just saw a D SQ from a funny angle and thought it looked like a kite.
  22. A dragon 'kite' ? \
  23. 4.) Use varrock armour.
  24. Great Orb Project tokens, used for buying things like Runecrafting Altar tablets, which speed up xp no end. You can play GOP at the Runecrafting guild.
