The two big cash earners (Sara and Arma) require defence and range generally, so attack and strength are only really that useful if you're going to Bandos/Zammy. Also if you want to maximize the ability you have soloing, get 52 summoning, if not 67+. Oh and 70 prayer is very helpful, even if you're soloing and won't need to bless graves, it will give you the option of piety and also make your trips last that little bit longer.

Anyone who says dust devils are bad for charms has never been to the Chaos Tunnels. Fight them there, with some B2P tabs or Bunyips, and they're great exp, good cash, and excellent crimson droppers.

Looks like you have a problem switching prayers - it's the same for me. Make sure you have sounds on, and watch videos of how Jad attacks. Apart from that, just try to remain calm and think about what you're doing. I, on the other hand, end up a jangling wreck of nerves whenever Jad pops up on the edge of my screen #-o

I have picked out some bits in bold which are plain wrong. To the guys above ; I think he is saying his preferred 'order' of how players should buy their armour. But, really, there's no need to do that. The answer is so simple : Wear the best armour you can.

If you have a DFS/67 summon/Zammy book take v helm instead of arma helm. you're losing like a tiny bit of range bonus for extra defence and prayer, imo. only problem will be having to have a switch item.

Tank, use excalibur special between aviansies, and use the goraks there to your advantage. Bring a healthy amount of B2P tabs and you'll be fine.

What are you asking? Will BGS fall or will your Bandos Chest fall? Do you mean the offer is max for BGS? I think the BGS price will lower a bit before steadying, but with the introduction with lending it's all in the air.

If you go to a mass world for bandos.. i dont think theres anyway you CAN die cause the boss dies in under 5 seconds, you just need pray pots, sharks, a hammer, super set, and a rope if its your first time going -.- If you go to a mass world you're not going to get half a chance at the minions. Not exactly good exp.

No, they barely ever drop the rare items..and you'd get attacked by the boss anyway. So there's a big risk of you dieing, and you'd need prayer pots...It's a pretty stupid idea, actually. They are a lot better ways to train and make money at the same time ; slayer, for example.

Could've posted stats but w/e -.- In my opinion, it's a good setup. Don't bother with torso for slayer. You may want to change Wealth for Warrior ring if you really need the extra slash bonuses, but otherwise keep the wealth. I always keep it on, for some reason. Obviously if/once you have a little bit more spare cash you might want to swap your glory for a fury, but apart from that, it looks like a good slayer setup, if you're training strength. Also, if you don't have 68 summoning, start working toward it. Then you'd be set.

Because of the trade limit, some rare items, for instance, Animal Masks (from TT), are valued much, much lower on the GE. For instance, a sheep mask would cost you 327k on the GE. But it's extremely unlikely you'd be able to get one ; since the forum value is anything between 4-7m, depending on how greedy a certain player is. So nobody in their right mind* would sell it for 327k. So how do players get around it? Simple. By adding more value to the Sheep Mask. In order to do that, they need "junk". Such as : Summoning scrolls, unstrung bows, etc. Things that nobody, realistically, will buy in large amounts. So while the junk has a cash value, it has no real player value. If you had 4m worth of junk, and a sheep mask, in a trade you would put all of that up, to increase the value of the mask to 4.3m. Another player comes along with 4.3m, and buys the Mask, and the 4m worth of junk. The player who sold the mask gets the full amount, and the player who buys gets the item he wanted, and 4m worth of junk, which he can then use to sell another item for more than it's GE price. Hope that explains it a bit. *Obviously some people who don't want to waste time collecting junk may just choose to sell the item at GE price. Collecting 4m or more worth of junk can't be fun.

Bank - Brilliant. Although I'm having problems moving the right items around. For instance, I tried to put my void knight gloves in my armour tab, and every time it moved something else, like 148 games necklaces, or boots of lightness. Took me 10 minutes for the gloves to get in the right tab. Anyone else have a problem? Or was I doing something wrong (pretty sure I wasn't). Item Lending - Already sick of it. Two most common occurrences: "OMG I've got 3a!!@1111" No, you haven't. You, like many others will no doubt do, paid 30k for an hour's loan to pretend you're stupidly rich. "Can I borrow your GS?" - this already seems to be the most common question at the moment. I've kind of made a resolution not to borrow anything, and only to lend medium value items to friends. I really, really hope, most people get bored of lending and go back to actually working for the items they want, and that their friends get bored of other people scrounging off their hard work. I know I will on both counts.

I would only duo Zamorak if you both had, at the very least 85 + combat stats, and both had 70 prayer. You should both have 70 prayer anyway, truth be told. For Piety + blessing graves. I reckon you could trio bandos easily enough if you found a good tanker. He's a pretty easy beast to tame. For me Zamorak is a pain ; but only because the only time I've been is as a tanker, and we only managed about 10 kills w/trio :wall: Sara won't be worth it until 85+ range, and 70+ prayer is a must there. Arma is similar although perhaps 90+ range. Also take into account two things : Bandos is easily the most crowded general, so good luck finding a world with nobody/couple of low levels who won't match your hits. On the flip side, remember that while Zamorak has the better hilt value, Bandos has more opportunities for cash. Plates, tassets and boots are all possibilites alongside the hilt, which is depreciating in value pretty steadily. Edit : Saw your stats again, aim for 80+ att and def.

Well here's what i think and i guess a breakdown of it all. First sara sword is better than whip overall even with def. Why? Because in a pvp situation or pve one the sara swords spec will make up for all the lost hits in the defender and will out hit it considering that the special itself hits as well as str training. Sum: Sara Sword is better than whip. For the price? No not worth it. However this sword is dropping significantly and not long from now will it drop enough that its whiplike and will probably be favoured over the whip. :mrgreen: :thumbup: hope this helps (I wouldnt buy it again if ur going to absolutely train str and would die to not use it) I very much doubt it will become more favoured than the whip. Anyone who's seriously training slayer, for example, would rather have the def of a DFS/sq. Also to say Sara Sword is better just because "the spec will make up for all the lost hits"..Well.. What if the spec hits low, or doesn't hit? Then you're stuffed. Really, Whip + Defender > SS except for 2 extreme circumstances (waterfiends + str-loving-pures-who-cant-put-up-with-scimmy). Edit : Anyway, if you use a DDS, the numerous specs you can use with that outweighs any spec the SS does (unless you hit 10x zeros).

Good advice here, imo. The whole "value" thing with items like 3a is silly to me. It's only worth 140m if you make it worth that much. Collect 120m worth of junk just to sell as part of 140m? There's a lot of better ways to spend your time. Collect a little bit of junk, sell it for more than it's worth, and enjoy the game..

Ok, so, I don't have 68 summoning. Will that be a problem? I know the best set up is roughly : Mask Karil's Trimmed cape/god clok SS etc. But simply, I can't afford the SS. Would using Karils + a zamorak spear be ok? Or Verac's flail? I've also heard that Guthans is useful in some cases..But this seems kinda risky to me - is it worth taking? And how would I use it? As normal? Or..wear all of it all the time? Hm, essentially, I'm kind of nowhere as to how to tackle these guys without a bunyip and SS... Thanks for any help/setup advice.

Although you may still want to take an item like Verac's skirt, or helm, to A) provide more defence against Verac and B) give a small prayer bonus.

Jagex does love puns... but it's called Spirit of Summer :?: I'd bet you 30k that Summer is the name of the girl you need to help out, and seeing as she's probably a ghost, could also be described as a 'spirit. Therefore, Spirit of Summer.

I think your stats will be fine if you have decent armour (e.g. wear a rune plate instead of a torso, etc.). Just make sure you pick up the bones, and bring a few pieces of good food with you for emergencies/until you get into the b2p 'cycle'. Drop rates...Urgh..1/12,500? Something like that. Don't hold out for one. But ESPECIALLY don't go to Dusties JUST for a Dragon Chain. It ain't gonna happen (unless you're extreeeemely lucky.) Yea, probably. They drop a couple of rune items, and also runes + herbs. Make sure you fight them in the Chaos Tunnels. Much better charm drops.

Slayer, use defence.

..Or it could just be 'atmosphere', ala Underground Pass. But the BTS does seem to link it up.
