I'm sure I speak for everyone that you're right to be sceptical for that reason. The Hitler Youth basically was Hitler's "grooming" so to speak of young children of the Ayran race (Blonde hair blue eyes). But only being kids at the time, I'm not sure how aware the children like Ratzinger were about the whole regime Hitler was about to inflect on them and the world. Maybe after being enlightened to it, he decided he wanted nothing to do with it, but again I'm not sure. He was just a kid, blissfully naive perhaps of Hitler's final solution. Yeah, it's quite a well known fact that a good majority of the kids in the Hitler Youth were just after the fun, games and commradery it offered, and just ignored alot of the propaganda. I mean, I know if I was there it would bore the hell out of me to sit and listen to political drivel. That said, I defintely see what Mad's saying.

I think they all need biblical names. I'm no expert on Catholocism though.
  3. Ah Dan, i can always count on you to rain on my parade. Wouldn't want to let you down. Back on topic, Geddy Lee is a great bass player, and Neil Peart is a fantastic drummer.
  4. Oh hell yes, Zakk is the man. About the Van Halen thing, i know the dude was a good guitarist but why do people always mention Eruption? It's just a load of tapping in pretty much the same pattern - admittedly i'm not good enough to play it, but i'm sure there are plenty more technical/harder pieces of work he's done. People don't mention it so much because of the skill involved, but the song did revolutionize rock guitar in a way.
  5. Walking home at night, when it's really dark, and having music blasting in your headphones. Comfortable silences are great too. With some people, you feel the need to fill the silence with pointless chat, but with your real close friends, you can just enjoy it.
  6. Blackmore is, has, and always will be my favourite guitar player of all time, and the biggest inspiration on my playing. Other guitarists I respect are Petrucci, Satch, and Hammet (he's not really technically skilled but he writes great solos). As for bass players, I quite like Stu Hamn.
  7. Hehehe. Is there any other way?
  8. Sig's your's, do what you want with it.
  9. Sorry about the text, haven't done this in a while.
  10. Yeah, the 3rd one is old. Comin' up Azvy.
  11. Found some old sigs around, thought people might want em. One per person, names will be changed obviously, big one will be adjusted to fit TIF rules. I posted em in Discussion because I wanted to know what people thought of them too, so even if you don't want one, tell me what you think. Cheers.
  12. Irrelevant comparision. The Nazi symbols represent a hatefull ideal, *not* a state. The Swastika is directly representative for the murder of millions, the Confederate flag is not. England claimed ownership over the colonies that now make out the US and thus you could also say they claimed ownership over its citizens, which is basically the same as slavery. Should it be outlawed? Actually so the Swastika is an ancient Sunsymbol and Hitler is directly representative for the murder of millions. And yes England claimed ownership of the citizens, then the citizens traveled to Africa and claimed ownership of citizens there which they brought home, which were very bad. The symbols themselves should not be outlawed because they are innocent. (Although it can be considered offensive to wear them by somepeople.) Actually the Swastika and the sun symbol are different. I think the Swastika is flipped horizontally, and rotated 45 degrees. They're similar, but not the same.
  13. Because The Lord of the Rings doesn't fit that description...
  14. The one with all of the posh people which is like a horse race? It's the one with like, a race course, then at the end there's a bunch of pistols. Whoever shoots themself with the pistol first wins. It's just [bleep]in' hilarious.
  15. The Suicide Race sketch from Monty Python's Flying Circus should definately be in there.
  16. DMX is also in Exit Wounds with Steven Segal.
  17. Can get all 3 of them in Virgin, I did anyway. :D Soul plane is quite a good film if you like that kind of comedy, that has Snoop Dogg and Method Man in it. How High is also a good comedy with Method Man and Redman. Training Day has Snoop Dogg in it aswell. Ja Rule was in fast and the furious. Can't think of anymore that haven't already been said at the moment. Isn't Dr. Dre in Training Day too?

I think it might be alot different if it was someone you cared about. If your mum died, does it affect me in any way? No. Would I be an wagon about it though? No. Have some respect. my moms already dead... anyway im not saying that its a good thing that he died hes death is just be enriched by the media the same way terry shiavos was the same way it will when the next pope dies. But when it come to other people dieing like a religious leader in some other country you dont see the people goin awww lets all sit down and do a prayer for him... He died wow! I agree that the Schiavo case was definately over publicised. She was just a normal person in unfortunate circumstances. If you google it a bit though, you might discover the Pope did some things worth respecting him for.

Tarantino movies have the best, and most natural sounding dialogue. The "Royale wit' cheese" speech in Pulp Fiction, and the "I don't tip" speech from Resevoir Dogs are some of the best movie dialogue ever written.

/me comes a little closer to Dan and touches his hot steamy and sweaty body. Like that, pal? :P The fact that I know what you look like without a shirt on makes it so much worse...
  22. Danabis replied to opu's topic in Off-Topic
I've never been in a sauna, but the idea of getting extremely sweaty in a steamy room, often with other guys never really appealed to me.
  23. Surely there's more Hindus and other eastern religions that there is Catholics. I have no idea what the numbers are, but surely that's extremely hard to know. I'm listed as a Christian I believe, but I'm still an atheist. I'm sure the same applies to millions others. Well I'm sure I read the numbers somewhere, but the reason I thought there would be more Hindus and whatnot was just because of the high population of the countries, and the fact that religion seems to be alot more forced there. EDIT: After checking a website, apparantly Christianity is the largest religion - is Catholicism grouped under Christianity?
