  1. I've got 99 cooking, but I didn't bother getting the cape when I got the level, seeing as it would be a bit nooby seeing a 116 combat player wearing a cooking cape. :P Though my in my eyes the Thieving cape (my first 99 skill) is more respectable than the cooking cape. Though I do have a little respect for people with 99 fletching, because I can't stand fletching lol.
  2. Just found it out from the KB in the Slayer guide - Extra features that you get 3k slayer exp from killing the Vine.
  3. I found him quite challanging at 115 combat. But I had sharks and no super sets, so...
  4. In a game like WoW, the death penalty isn't as harsh as a Runescape's, so you're expected to die against a tough opponent. But runescape has a "Die-and-lose-nearly-all-of-your-items" death penalty, so runescape has to really lower the risk of dieing than WoWs risk of dieing. Oh and there are some quest boss monsters which you can't use prayers.
  5. Just before I completed the quest, Horacio said something about a latin plant name for the slayer master, one of them was "Macrobotys", I lol'ed irl!! Great one jagex! =D>
  6. Lol I'll get 88 slayer and 62 farming from the quest reward! :D
  7. Looks like a nice quest, not looking forward to a similar draynor mansion basement maze again. :? A jade vine is a slayer monster? 'Kay... :-s
  8. I've been on the local TV news, I could see myself in a large crowd of other school children a dozen years ago. I've also been in the local newpaper with me against a bonsai tree (I used to like bonsai trees a few years back  ).
  9. I would probably prefer co-op over competitive gameplay anytime, I suck at any head-to-head things. I love playing co-op games with my sister on the console, we really work very well together, but hate going against each other.
  10. I've seen players with a untrimmed fishing cape, it is one of easiest skills IMO along with fletching, cooking, thieving, woodcutting and firemaking. Catching monkfish is slightly slower than fly fishing but definitely much more profitable. I'm also getting 99 fishing by fishing monks, it will be my 3rd 99 skill. Only 440k exp to go!
  11. I've never really thought much about the guilds being obsolete, but now that you come to mention it, I think they should update the guilds with something more attractive to use.
  12. Damn you get levels fast! Very nice Maz!!
  13. I did trawler when the themed world update came. Tons of people there. In fact too many people bail and fix the net you don't really need to do anything on the boat, just enjoy the ride. \
  14. My personality is the same in real life and RS: very quite. Though I do talk a bit more in RS, because I'm usually too shy to talk to people in the flesh. :?
  15. Lol so if I get a left half as a drop, I should just leave it on the ground, since it's literally worth nothing anyway. But pretty much everyone will pick it up anyway. Really strange... I remember when dragon squares were worth 5.5m. :(
  16. Pesronally I think a decent skill total would be better as a requirement to enter a "high level player" or "mature" world.
  17. Hopefully it won't ruin the raw monkfish market, players still want a cheaper method for getting cooking exp. But for me it's High HP food > Cost for food. So this choc bomb won't bother me much.
  18. I only use tip.its quest guide. : But now that I've completed all quests and complete new quests on the day they come out, I very rarely need quest guides anymore.
  19. Are you really quiting?! If not, then my sarasm detector is working very well.
  20. Coulda gotten them for 800k at the fishing place at draynor. Oh, btw, you can now sell 333k chaos for a fury, or whatever amount you need, in like 10 seconds. God [bleep] [cabbage] dammit holy effing crap! Well, 99 fishing worth it. -.- Lol, monkfishing your way to 99 fishing is more profitable. It's a tad bit slower, but the money is worth it. :)
  21. yeah, mud staff and curse... it only takes like 6mill from mage level 76... bodies are 16 each :P Wow, 5m+ for me to get 99 magic. Though I need to cast Curse like 300k+ times. -.- :-k
  22. But no Sell X? :( Fairly good update. I'm sure infinite stock will change the way we play now. I need to go check out Edgeville...
  23. Yep, I'm a "loner" in Runescape, I prefer to play on my own. I've only got like a dozen people in my friends list. I delete most of them regulay when they haven't talked to me for a while. I don't even like having parties when I get a 99 skill or a similar achievement.
