    Iron Maiden

I agree with everything except what you said about Blaze. I like ALL Maiden... Blaze was'nt THAT bad. My favorite Maiden song is The Clairvoyant.
  2. Glad there are some others here who have good taste in American muscle. :) (This is a clone, I know... but it's the only black one I could find for now..) ^'72 Mach 1 Mustang... What a cruiser! 351 Cleveland or 429 Cobra Jet... I'll take it!
  3. 1994 Ford Mustang, 3.8 Liter 5 speed. Black. :P It's kind of fun to drive, very reliable and great on gas, that's all I can say about it. :P My dream car is a black 1971-'73 Ford Mustang Mach 1. It'll take me about a year to save up for one that's restored so that I won't have to do the work, but it will be worth it.
  4. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but as a kid, I've always enjoyed the music on the NES games. I've always wanted to mess around with a synthesizer that could use the NES sounds, and I stumbled across one here.. The "2A03 Synthesizer" as it was known... http://manfreda.org/LordFrito/2A03/ You *could* use your pc keyboard to play it, but if you have a midi keyboard that you can hook up to your pc (still trying to find what I need to hook mine up... is it a midi cable of some sort? I'm not too pc savvy...) then you can probably play it more easily IMO. Knock yourselves out.
  5. A clarinet has a beautiful, pleasant sound- that might be what you're looking for. :) edit: A stringed instrument, you say? Hmm... you could always settle for a ukulele although it's an acquired taste for some.. :P

    New Guitar!!

You move one of the strap buttons to neck joint and it balances it out. Otherwise, yeah, they tend to nose-dive. Yeah when I had my first explorer, I was thinking... "woah this thing is neck-heavy..." With time, it's fairly easy to get used to. To the topic author.. If I were you and I were to get an explorer, I would avoid a bolt-on neck... don't be afraid to spend the extra money on a set neck, it's worth it. If you don't care about that and it's just wild looks you want, try a Jackson Warrior instead, I thought it was more playable than an EX-50. A Warrior is more comfortable than something like an explorer or an ML.
  7. Those who think that death metal is gross or disgusting might be right in a way, but I guess it's like a horror movie: it's just entertainment, and if you can't stomach it than it just is'nt for you... I'm surprised only a few people mentioned Death. Chuck Schuldiner was a musical genius and one of the pioneers of the genre- it's a shame that he passed away. If you like thrash metal more than death metal but want a mix of the two, Death is a good place to start; Death has always been more technical than your average death metal band.
  8. Chris Broderick- Jag Panzer "Dimebag" Darrel Abbot- Pantera / Damageplan Dave Murray- Iron Maiden Eddie Van Halen- Van Halen Bobby Gustafson- Overkill All Metal... I know. :P There are plenty of other guitarists that I'd name under jazz, blues, and rock... but this was just a top five list and my favorite genre is heavy metal.

    Homeschoolers

I graduated from high school with homeschooling. My parents wanted me to have a Christian education. I still had my friends from previous schools so I would'nt say I was socially deprived. I did dramatically better in homeschool because it is much less distracting without any trouble makers and I learned a lot more than I ever could at other schools. In my opinion, the methods I were taught with were much better than a traditional schools' as well. And, for those who are wondering, being taught at home is'nt a new concept at all if you think about it. ;)
  10. Well... there is a button that says "PrintScreen" on it. It's located to the right of the F12 Key. Press the PrintScreen button once to take a snap- shot, then open your favorite image editor (or most people just use MS PAINT). In Paint, select "Edit", and then "Paste". Voila- you should have your screen shot there. Or to paste it to ms paint, click on the white area of ms paint where the image would go, and hold the Ctrl key and press V to paste. From there, you can crop, resize, edit, and save... etc. Here's a topic on another forum that you may find useful. 8) http://runevillage.net/ThePub/viewtopic.php?t=176139 Hope all of this helped. Otherwise I wasted my time! =S
  11. 1997 ESP Explorer- EMG 60 at the bridge, and an EMG 80 at the neck. Set Neck. Fender US Highway 1- Teal Green- Agile AX2 Ghost- Set Neck. I use Marshall Amplifiers and Guyatone effects; N-2 Noise Reduction and MMX-Metal Monster Distortion.
