Don't listen to death as much, but still have a few death metal bands on my playlist. Mostly listen to Power/Progressive/Speed metal. :D

HXC FTW!. Lol. Im into some death metal, more hardcore and a bit of power/metalcore. Some of Bleeding Throughs songs are on the verge of death, aka. This love, this is murderous. And Kataklysn have a few good songs out...But Hardcore and thrash owns.

yea man my fav bands are cradle of filth, lamb of god, rammstein, and children of bodom

rammstein isnt deathmetal

None of those bands are death metal, and rammstein + cradle of filth are like the lamest metal bands in the world.

Rammstein is more of a Nu-Metal but i like some of there songs its a change when i dont have to listen to the lyrics.

I dont really wanna get into an argument about genres but i woudlnt put rammstein in death metal or nu-metal. They refer to themselves as being "industrial metal" in the same genre as Oomph!

Lamb of God and Devildriver are good tho. I dont have the LOG album but i did see them last year at Download Festival.

Symphony X = Progressive power metal, I'm pretty sure, not even close to death metal

I mostly listen to power metal, the only death metal band I really have had much interest in is Wormed, but maybe when I feel like finding more bands I will look for some more.

i don't really like death :(. I mean, it's just a couple of guys getting famous by screaming profanities and violence into a mic.

You might not like death but you obviously do like revelling in your ignorance. There is more to it than shouting, and the shouting I don't particularly like.

The main attractions are the technical drumming and guitar playing.

I'm going to go and see Cryptopsy on the 7th.
