If it was structured even close to how Offtopic.com has their subscription - defiant no; never going to pay for basic forum functionality. As for the "improvements" you listed; still a no. I get by perfectly fine with what's here at the moment.

1. Using dirty needles is ILLEGAL; health and safety will shut them down and fine them like all hell. Also; you have every right to tell them to open EVERYTHING that they'll use in front of you; if they refuse; you can simply walk away / sue them if they refuse mid-process). Tattoo-ist generally wash thier hands up to TWENTY times a day; more than. Clinics are usually one of the most cleanest places you'll ever vist (sparing hospitals) but they come pretty damn close. At everyone having a go at Tattoo's and those who have them, etc: [cabbage] generalizations should be kept to yourself till you know the industry that you're insulting more than your own guesses :uhh:

Ditto. :x Yeah a few of Rick's question came from a while back so "newish" people wouldn't know all of the questions. I'll be hoenst and say that about half required at least 2 years or more of being ACTIVE in most of General (not just OT). Three were from the scapeboard era; but have been mentioned a number of times since; some of them fairly recently as far as I could tell while digging through the old posts (yes - I went through every post to find questions / answers).

It's not easy to make one, feel free to do so yourself. And alot of the questions are about users. I had road blocks creating 20 totally different questions that were still relevant enough, hence the avatar one and history buff one, those were last resorts. My last resorts took me half an hour to work out; I doubled up on one type since I practically ran out of directions to take. The result -.-

A tutor at uni tried to pull me up for plagorism on an assignment; because it had content from "another student" - If he'd read both of them he would've realised they were both mine and the phrases I used were exactly the same because the argument was exactly the same. Two different subjects wanted a report on the same thing. I was one of about 8 people doing both of the subjects at the same time; and we all got pulled up on it :uhh:

Sounds like something beyond Winamp is broken. I've had the last 5 versions on 4 different machines and *never* had it crash. :? I'd have to say my most hated would be IE 6. It's a major PITA when it comes to web dev. IE7 does better (it renders the stuff I work with fairly close to FF and Opera) but IE6 just mangles things beyond recognition. :( Everything else I use was easily replaced with stuff that works. :mrgreen: Truth that you have to support either IE7 or IE6; can't do both because one'll break the hacks for the other - or something like that? I haven't done any interface work (like serious stuff that'd require me to find out) since IE7 came out - so I don't know :-?

Yea; that's common sense; but in all honesty - I almost forgot it existed till someone else mentioned it not too long ago (comments about names on his site); so I wouldn't exactly call it "awesome" if it can't get me back there on my own accord.

The amusing thing is that you can find out all the answers by searching the forum; pretty much. And most of the information isn't people - it's more content.

There's some professions where visible tattoo's go against company policy (I know Retails tends to have a big 'no-no' on visble tattoo's and very strict on what peircings you can have. I never quite got why white-collar jobs that don't put you in front of an employee are against visibles though; it happens - and it's bad decisions on managements imo; for the reaons you stated.

I'm hoping it's just bad photos; because that line art looks pretty bad in some places. At least i'ts not going to solid black - solid black tribals ftl; But it seems like it'll turn out fairly well - post another pic when it's finished :)

Yea - I'm with this. Now all we need is people to use the same kind of self-restraint they've had in the last month to stop every second thread that even mentions either science or religion and turning it into a debate between the two #-o

Exactly - they gave them back once before; and straight away people were posting pointless crap with a poll attacked - just because they could. The ability to make polls as back and gone pretty much in 24hrs (exaguration). And when we could make them again - they did tell us not to abuse them or they'll be removed; people didn't read / listen.
