Test cricket yes, but their ODI performance is well below what they usually achieve. Like bottom of the ladder low. This I can agree with. Although the "have to win to have any shot a the final" has me thinking it's the only reason there's any fight to this game :-? It's the first real resistance they've shown since Adelaide.

Has anyone else been a bit "meah" over the series so far? After the ENG vs NZ last week, I pretty much gave up watching... Like I wasn't exactly watching anyways after Englands humiliations in the Ashes so I didn't have high hopes for improved performance for the Tri-Series, this game proved it... England is meant to be the second best team in the world, and they were beaten (easily) by New Zealand, which is essentially at the bottom of the ladder. The entire cricket season to date has been a disapointment due to Englands hopeless performance. I almost feel sorry for anyone who's purchances tickets to any games where England is playing :-?

Tried and failed. Actually - if the "remove" votes were all under one option and not seperated; remove would've one by miles - but since it was split over "remove but keep in profile" and "totally remove" the "keep" vote won somehow even though remove (in some manner) won by majority :uhh: Too many people attached to a number which means absolutely nothing to anyone with common sense to go off quality not quantity.

On the side.... The war between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray hasn't exactly done much to push PS3 sales either. Neither format has really won many people over from DVD and Blu-Ray was a HUGE pitch for the PS3; but with neither of them really "dominating" DVD, people aren't exactly in a hurry to invest in either* After all - the difference between HD and SD isn't that grand to the average consumer; and those are the people who make the difference - not the early adopters. * Like, when DVD replaced VHS it happened pretty quick because of the obvious advantages: longer life better quality ease of use (no more rewind, fast forward, etc) compact Between SD and HD it's effectively down to picture clarity. And most people simply don't care for such a small difference.

I was watching Penn & Teller: BS the other night; they had a bit on bottled water (in the USA) and how 1/3 of it doesn't meet the national standards for it; and they even filled up 4 bottles of "top end bottled water" from a tap and had people in a resturant buying it - most of them were all "better than tap water", even people in the street were picking tap water for "tasting better" even after many of them said that bottled water tasted better, :rofl:

Sounds about right. Last time I can remember pushing for it was when the music & movies board was implemented; the two basically went hand in hand after all. But no dice then; so I dunno anymore
