  1. Those are some odd side-effects.. I've been getting around 2-4hrs of sleep a night since about half-way through 1999, and that's never happened to me. Health is fine, I get sick less than once a year, head aches are non-existant, being tired only comes from over-sleeping. All in all, I'd say my sleep patterns do me more good than harm (that being I sleep only when I need to). It's almost like power-naping, but more stretched.
  2. Mr_Putter is on the ball. Shot whilst running around a corner to get away from a gang-shootout. That's a lot of damage for a pistol though.
  3. Probably includes things like military bases and such. I know Australia has a few US Military bases somewhere around the country which are mainly used for training purposes. The UK most likely has a similar setup.
  4. Yea... so trying to protect them for illicet content in sigs is meh. But still TIF policy, so whatever works.
  5. it's a neat trick used by phpBB group :) Just a text box with a background colour the same as the document behind it and no border. Saves having to work out some other form of dynamic text for roll overs of the bbCode buttons and such.

  7. Same here. I max'd out acrobatics as a minor skill by jumping everywhere. Had like 40 acrobatics and like 15 athletics at one stage, little bit creepy actually.

Read my first post. Even if the Greenland and Antartic ice sheets metled, that's a net water sea-level gain of 68m. Isreal's highest point is 2224m. There are HILLS higher than that. So unless their "world" was a few km's UNDER sea-level, their "world" must've been like the Netherlands, dead flat and right next to the sea. Although that aint the case now is it. Since the known world at the time did consist of mountains and what not, which are higher than 68m now aren't they.
  9. Please, give him a hint, don't give him the answer. A good hint would be: Change the base. Right now it's in binary, you have 3 other bases to choose from. P.S. any hints for 9.1? A have a picture.. with the bottom taken off.. I said that a long way back in the thread, but people either don't read or just don't understand.
  10. What's your problem? Homeless people have friend and family also. You think you're above them, people care about you not them, just because they have an addiction and/or are down on their luck? Well, you're not. These are real people. Real lives. Actually, cyco is almost on the ball. A lot of people consider homeless people to be a blemish / annoyance. And wouldn't care if they just vanished. You don't really hear much of people helping them out much; but when someone so much as touches one with a finger it's all "omg that's inhuman" like the person is their best friend. It's almost insulting how they don't care untill something happens. Kinda like councils who do nothing about something dangerous until someone is killed.

Well, you've got the Greenland Ice Sheet, which if melted would only raise water levels by a meager 7m or so. And you got Antartica Ice Sheet, which if melted would raise water levels by 61m; hardly enough to really flood the land, unless you lived in a low-set country. Still wouldn't completely drown Isreal (highest point: 2224m above sea level). Or most countries along the coast in that area anyways now what I think about it.
  12. Might suprise you then that there are people out there as young as 12 who have either had sex, smoked, taken drugs, gotten drunk, etc.

  14. Aye. Peace-keeping ftw.
  15. on the note of passer-by helping, yea.. I doubt many would help. slightly unrelated (but close) Today Tonight did a "hit-run" test where they'd back one car into another and drive off to see how many people would take down the number of the offending car. They'd also bring the offending car back and park close to the one they hit. Around 10% did anything about it.
  16. Yea, that's the bit that got me rather "the hell" more than anything else. They just killed a person, then went and got some food like it was something normal :-?
  17. Have you ever used a signature before? They're alot of fun. Just look at mine. Yes he has; and I'm tempted to agree with him. A lot of people get so caught up in their signatures it's almost scary :-?
  18. Battlfield 2 (Descert Conflict to be exact).
  19. Noctural crew. I usualy sleep around 4 or 5 am, get 3-5hrs sleep, and I'm right for the next 24hrs (or more).
