  1. Thats fair enough, I hadn't heard that Western countries disarming, and if they are, then it is quite understandable that they don't want other countries to have them. Still seems as though Western countries are calling the shots a little though?
  2. Yeah, I am. If Western countries can place themselves into Iraq and try to force a system of democracy, are they not measuring Iraq's downfalls relative to their own system (democracy), ergo comparing the two? I know we aren't talking about Iraq right now, but the list of Countries that need our help goes on and on and in another year or two we will be helping another out of their terrible situation. Everyone can talk about their 'freedom' but what have you really got? The right to talk about absolutely anything, unless the powers that be don't like it? Thats not freedom in my books, it looks alot like it, but as soon as you push the boundaries it looks more like a marketing ploy. In essence, what right has any Western country got to say that North Korea can't have Nuclear weapons, or any Country for that matter, when they have Nuclear weapons themselves? The only answer to the above answer that I recall is that it is potentially dangerous if they have them, but does no one see the hypocrisy of that?
  3. Because they are practicing their right to do what they want, without someone hypocritically pointing out that they shouldn't be arming themselves/developing their nuclear weapon technology. I personally hope that North Korea carry on doing whatever they are doing, God knows that if anyone tried to tell a Western country what to do, they would be on a political/justice crusade faster than China's economy is growing.
  4. If you need any help doing that... Necromagus originally posted SpaceMonger.
  5. True that. ^^ I would suggest PHP, it's relatively easy to learn the basics, just type in PHP tutorials on google and see where it leads you!
  6. Top row - middle. What are they? And yeah, there is a sticky for this, but you wouldnt know unless you've been in that particular section.
  7. When Tip.It develop a calculator i'll use that :P
  8. According to RuneHQ's Calculator: Money Left: 750k Coal Mined 15884 Gems 79 Maples 12967 Bird Nests 129 Apparently its pretty accurate.
  9. Its why you should write webpages using W3C specification, so you don't alienate blind people who use applications to read the internet!
  10. You forgot that they are culturally bias. The people that make and standardise the tests are largely middle class and the tests therefore include middle class vernacular and are also bias dependant on class in society. Furthermore, a canadian Psychologist gave an IQ test to Yakima Indian Children, and although he remarked that they did not seem less intelligence, the mean result of their test was lower than that when it was given to American Children. Unlike the Western culture, the Yakima do not place a priority on speed in life and therefore scored lower on the test. This illustrates my point that it is unfair for anyone to decide what intelligence is because of its problematic definition. Whilst i would agree to some extent that there is a correlation between IQ and 'Intelligence', getting a higher IQ than someone else does not mean you are more 'Intelligent' than them, it means that you are better at taking IQ tests than them. If IQ tests were completely accurate, any preparations would be in vein, but i beleive that practicing IQ test techniques increase your IQ, which defeats the point in measuring natural intelligent. And anyone who "hit the ceiling" on their test could not have taken very good tests, as Intelligence Quotient indicates there is no ceiling, it is a ratio of sorts
  11. Losing two blue masks (not at the same time) when they were worth about 1mil each, in level 2 wild edgeville dungeon while AFK collecting herbs. 8-)

GameGuard is awesome, what's wrong with you? When I downloaded and installed Silkroad I just got an error when I tried to connect. Then the client just closed. Oh thats their way of telling you that the world is full. They close down the game. Quite frustrating. So much so that everytime i think i might give it a try again, the worlds are so crowded that i remove it from my computer. The game is alright, but unless you have Korean blood, you won't hack the grind.
  13. Makes sense to theW3C too. However i still write my dates the oppostie to that, as i was taught and how everyone else i know presents it. Today being 04-09-06.
  14. I dont think you could buy them in Red/Blue. And i just went on GameFAQs and Ctrl + F 'ed Rare Candy in a guide and it didnt mention any stores selling them, only finding them in random places.
  15. I've just downloaded Firefox 1.5.0.6 and on mine, it may different because i think i'm using a skin, it's.. Tools > Options > Content > Then untick enable Javascript. It forced my webpage to open a link in the same window whereas it otherwise would have opened a new one via javascript. But other scripts may work, i don't specifically work. And there may be Add-ons you could get for firefox that would stop ads and javascript more selectively, but i dont use firefox, so i cant tell you for sure.
  16. If you are using Internet Explorer: Go to Tools > Internet Options... > General > And it says homepage. You can either Type in the URI yourself and if you are on the page you wish to use press Use Current. On firefox: Its the same except at the start Tools > Options On Opera: Tools > Preferences > General > Homepage. Hope i helped!

ART? I think that's the one that the pubs are willing to be fined for using because the profits they retain outweigh them. And Phil, do you ever venture to the lower leagues of FM06?
  18. With notable mention going to the 1234 1234 re-do.

What more could you possibly want... Except maybe a moment of silence/violence
  20. I'm in, i've been using it for a while already!
  21. Yeah I play texas hold'em (who doesn't?). Me and 4 friends play around someones house, all in ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5 and winner takes all. I managed to come first last time I played which is quite an acheivement, i'm quite good but usually under-perform because it seems i can go ten hands with nothing more than a pair.
  22. Okay I've been brushing up on my HTML, reading through this topic for a couple of days.. I have used HTMLGoodies for about 3 years or so, it got me started and continues to help me. Also http://www.yourhtmlsource.com/ is quite good with what it deals with. And please use EditPlus, does exactly what it says on the tin, wont bloat your HTML, and it makes you better because you have to know what you are doing to an extent. Only thing i don't like about HTML, is that it is quite 'artsy' if you go deeper than basic tables etc, and art is not my strong point. Thats why i started learning PHP, successfully, but i found that my webpages were *ugly* #-o . So i'm back, with Adobe Photoshop at my side and im learning through tutorials. And by all means take breaks, if you're like me you do it for enjoyment and self-better-ment (is that a word?) so doing it while you loathe it won't make it seem very fun.
  23. http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?db=1 Thats the official mod database. And you will need to follow the instructions that should come with the modification.
  24. I'm so jealous of you both ... :-X And what it is with Ska bands, hasn't Less Than Jake's Van been vandalised/broken into twice now ?!
  25. Same. Silkroad (the grind mainly) put me off RPG's and i haven't been bothered with them since. But i supose it is quite exciting at the start, and the build's were quite interesting.
