Okay I'm going out tonight (New Years) and I'm going to drink. I'm naturally quite a shy person, and I think that on an evening like this it will make it more fun. Now, I'm not going to sleep with a random girl, I'm not going to vandalise the neighbor's lawn, and I'm not going to end up in hospital. I don't see the harm in this sort of behaviour, but the way you lot talk about it, to touch a drop of drink is hellish and immature. Me and my friends don't drink because we're cool, we don't do it for a hangover, we do it to have more fun. But we also go out to meals and other more formal events where we don't drink and also have fun. In other words, we don't need to drink to have fun. Do users like Insane (doesn't drink at all) see this as a bad thing. I'm not starting a flame war, I'm asking for people for whom i have respect for's opinion. :)

I had my New Years and Christmas in New Zealand last year, the most surreal experience for an English person when you suggest to go for a Barbeque on the beach on Chrsitmas Day. :shock:

Also 'lol' is also the rough translation of fun in dutch. You would have to ask a Dutchie to confirm, I'm not totally sure on this one. :shock:

What could possibly bring the new year in, in a better way than having a great time with your friends? In 24 hours and 15 minutes i can guess that i will be having the time of my life with my college mates, and looking forward to 2006. 8)

Yeh i have the same kind of thing. I'll put on shorts to play a sport, and my leg will have a few nasty bruises on it. Someone elses always notices and asks how I do them, I don't realise they are there until someone points them out. Also similar to yours they don't hurt to touch, poke, punch anything lol. I usually get them on my arms and legs. And by the way I have a track record of being an 'Active sleeper' my recent ventures have been getting up and turning on my light and then going back to sleep. So I'm thinking its something in your sleep.

I've always been cynical, so when I first beleived he was real, I was convinced it was a sham. Then when my parents told me he was in fact ficticious I didn't beleive them and tried to prove that he was real. I'm awkward. 8)

What is dux? And yeah you could have said some things you were interested in lol. What do you have already? I would either spend it on; Music; Dvd's; or Computer.

Well although I don't get the magazine, I would feel the same way as you had I bought it expecting something better than that. I can't make out whats going on in the frame, all I can really be sure of is the large gorilla. And how did you get your BTTF2 frames, they are awesome. And incomparable to the King Kong one. But did you buy them specially, or receive them with a magazine. My opinion is that you get what you pay for, I wouldn't expect anything better from a magazine (maybe a bit more clarity), but they arent going to do anything special without charging a mint.

Just to add on to this, he was carrying enough drugs for 26 times the death penalty there. :shock: And those drugs a street price of around 1.6million Singapore dollars. Either his brother bought a few too many ferrari's or it wasn't all about his brother. I still havent made up my mind, because i'll always think that the death penalty is immoral and extremely risky, but on the other hand, you have to go with the rules.

A nice idea that can exist in theory but not in practice. If it were possible, it would involve never disliking anything your 'lover' did, and I don't beleive that's possible. Good topic though. Edit after reading bubsa's post: I don't think he neccessarily has to live a lonley life. You could argue that if you beleive in love you're leading a life of ignorance, and whats worse? (Rhetorical question, its opinion)

Whatever will satisfy my gross greediness come Christmas morning. The only present I need is the thanks i get from my friends. I hate the commerciality of the season, but it still gives me an opportunity to do a good thing, so I'll take it.

The weirdest dream is definately.... I went downstairs in my house and saw a swarm of bee's flying at my conservatory window. At closer examination there seemed to be a chocolate muffin stuck on the window that all the bee's were trying to get to. Then my sister opens a side door in my house, and all the bee's fly in through that way and attack me! And according to my friend (my official dream sharer), my strangest dream is... Me and another friend were standing at the bottom of some very grand stairs, and a butler was there. Suddenly i realised it was my house, and I owned the butler. At this point the butler told me something that i didn't understand (even after I'd woke up), that my birthday was 118 (if your British you might remember the two 118 guys running around promoting that phone number), well my and my friend had a certain fascination about them and i found it quite funny that that number came up in my dream. Well after trying to figure out why the butler in my dream told me that my birthday was 118, my friend realised that my birthday is on the 11/8 (11th August) and that is probably what it meant. The strange thing is, that i must have known that on a subconscious level, makes you wonder what else we know, but can't access.

Well after I've finished my A level's I want to go to University and do either Accounts, Sociology, Maths, or Psychology. I don't want a wife(or husband), but I want a kid, not sure how I'm going to manage that one. :shock: I plan on doing something that will leave me quite wealthy(Accountant), but because i don't think I serve a very great purpose, and i don't really want to do much in life, I'd rather give most of my money away to charity and/or leave it to friends/family to let them do what they want. Quite a depressing thought, and its been on my mind alot recently, I hope its just teenage attitude that makes me so much of a lone wolf.

Well I'm gonna mention a sample, because i can't think of any covers that you guys haven't already mentioned. :lol: First of, Fat Boy Slim - Praise You. The hook is sampled from a song about Black Power, influenced by Malcom X I think. Well yeah, no one knew that song really, but then he took it and put it into a dance classic. Also, Kanye West - Late Registration contains alot of Samples, there are less songs that don't contain them, than that do.

Kind of going off from Despaxes idea... iCame iSaw iPod. That was on the iPod lounge website, my friend told me about it, i thought it was pretty cool. I have '[Adthegreat]' on the back of my mini, mostly for security reasons.

Yeah its great, but also shows how insignificant we really are! Only thing is, I havent got many good uses for it, too much of a novelty really.
