Lets say if the lvl 70 faced a lvl 40 in the first round, and lost 5 hp, and the lvl 120 faced a lvl 126, and was left with 20 hp. That's what can happen.

Before we start, I have infact won a tournament, I won 280k, in a melee only tournament, but still this thing seriously needs changing. Heres a couple of things... 1. Well, personally I think in the first three rounds, the system should sort who fights who by combat lvl not rank. This would then prevent things like a lvl 55 vs 110 in the first round happening. I mean, come on the lvl 55 may aswell just press the x in the corner of their screen, they'd have a better chance. Anyway, this way we would have more fair fights, and it would be more competitive. Plus it would be much harder to lose the first round five tournaments in a row. 2. The higher hp if the time runs out. This mean that even if you completly owned your opponent and they eat througthout the entire fight, you can still lose, lets say if the timer runs out, and you have 50 hp and they have 70 hp. Surely it would be better to decide who goes through, by how much damage was dealt by each person, or how little they healed throughout the fight. 3. The time it takes for each tournament to start can be tedious. Say if your rank is 1800, then you can only use two of the registrars (two and three). This mean that lets say registrar two is doing magic only and registrar three is doing range only then you'll have to wait a max of 20 minutes for the right tournament, lets say melee only, or all three types of combat. Personally, I think it would be much better if jaegx added around 4 - 8 more registrars, and having one do magic only, one range only, weapons only slots only etc. This way it would only take 10 minutes max to enter a tournament, and there would be les waiting around. 4. Finally, the no healing between rounds rule. This can be fun, but lets say if your a lvl 120 whose been taken down to 10 hp from their first round fight, and they come against a lvl 90 in the second round who has 70 hp left. The lvl 90 can basically one hit the 120, and they can do nothing about it. Personally I think this is fun, but it could be tweaked a little so that people are paired up by the amount of hp they have left, and their combat lvl respectivly. So overall the duel tournaments are fun and possibly rewarding, but they do have many flaws and holes which can easily be patched over.

Chealdar is Zanaris, Vannaka is Edgeville. Chealdar is better IMO.

Barrows can easily be done without a karryal portal or 50 con. What I do (and I personally think this is the best method) is note lets say 200 sharks and 30 prayer potions. So, if you've done shades of morton, every trip you just go to the general store, sell the required amount, and then buy back with around 20k gp you bring with you. This is also much faster than using a portal.

Lately I seem to be getting a lot of fake e- mails, saying stuff like 'You have been invited to become a player moderator' etc. I opened one, and was wondering, is it a possibility that there could be a keylogger attached to the e - mail?, and if so how would I go about identifing and getting rid of it? Any help is much appreciated :)

Ye for the first 3 tournaments I had a lvl 120, lvl 113 and lvl 110. Beat the 110 just, but lost to the other two.

Won my first tournament (5th tournament ever played). Thought I wouldnt stand a chance, and was only playing for fun but oh well :P Won around 280k. Special thanks to: Piety and Monkfish (Seriously piety really kicks butt in this new minigame).

Ye I agree, with your points, but they are fun. Just one thing though, I played my second tournament today and came up against a lvl 120 on the first round (I'm 101). Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't jagex state that it's supposed to match you to someone close to your combat lvl? Fair enough in the later rounds, but on the first round with 60 people? Give me a break... Edit: 3rd Tournament: lvl 116 with 94 mage.... do I need to say more? Edit 2: Just saw a lvl 58 vs a 117 in the second round....

What zybez probably did, was go onto the RSOF and see a lot of the fake threads selling for a lot less, and they probably thought 'O, rares have gone down, better change the price guide.' Plus a lot of price manipulators have reported the price on their guide leading them to believe there is a price drop.

Inflation is when a currency (e.g runescape gp) decreases in value, and so therefore everything takes a price hike. A good example of this would be Germany in the 1920's, where the mark, basically became near worthless, and to buy a loaf of bread you would need a wheelbarrow full of notes. P.S. I'm wondering why Veracs has gone up. Surely more people would be trying to sell, considering 1 vs 1 staking has been abolished, and Veracs was the main armour used :-k

When I read this on the knowledge base I thought I read it wrong. But then I come on here and find out it's true, I was like wow! Jagex could seriously lose a lot of money doing this, been as a lot of people may end up quiting due to the circumstances. I'm just glad I decided not to make my character into a staker :o

I had the saem problem, I made 100 p pots (4) for 50 herblore, and couldn't sell them for ages, so I just had to put my price down by 1k, and then they sold easy.

Thanks, I 've got them now. On trying to do the zybez thing, a monkey came, but then randomly died and dropped the bones lol.

I'm having trouble obtaining these. I've read zybezs guide, which cliams you have to go to the middle of the warehouse as a monkey, then unequip the talisman. Then as soon as the guards arrive when you are seen re equip the talisman and a member of the 10 th squa sigil wil come and kill the monkey and it will drop bones. But, everytime I do this a puff of smoke comes out and they dissappear. Please help!
