I agree with this, although I think those are a little too extreme. Maybe a chance that you would make 4 dose instead of 3, but you shouldn't be able to every time.

And my argument isn't that low levels shouldn't get updates. It is that it would have been more reasonable to give high levels a new monster than to give low levels a new monster. Slayer just happens to be the first on the list, but I do think high levels need more updates in the other skills too. Slayer is hard and it has no major incentive to train it besides the Skill Cape. I mean, with most of the other skills you can do the skill at a faster rate because you have access to more efficient training methods. Your Slayer level has virtually no effect on your xp rate. The only difference between 99 and 90 is the extra xp and the skill cape. They aren't doing what they should but yet they are doing nothing wrong? Sorry, you're going to have to explain. I know the update doesn't effect me because I don't play Runescape anymore, but racism doesn't really effect me either but I'm still going to stick up for what I believe is more fair. My response was really directed at how you made it seem like anyone who disagreed with this update was just a selfish high leveled slayer with illogical arguments. This is not the case. :)

It's okay, friends are usually all [wagon] anyways. They're annoying but still good to have. I'd say keep him as a friend and just deal with his annoyances, but fight them back with annoyances of your own. Every time he does something to bother you, do something to bother him. The negative feedback he gets from being annoying should help a little. If he gets too upset by it and blows up on you, then he's a hypocrite and he brought it on himself so don't worry. I wouldn't try going out of your way to stay friends with him, but you shouldn't go out of your way to stop being friends with him either. Just go with the flow.

Those 30-85 leveled players already have tons of material available to them and they have so much to look forward to, and in such a small xp span. High levels work harder and yet they have nothing to look forward to in such a large xp span. It makes absolutely no sense. This isn't a matter of low levels quitting if Jagex didn't release a 78 slayer monster. In fact, I'd say quite the opposite. Low levels have tons to do already so why should you be worried about losing them? High levels are the ones with no new material, so I would say that they are the group that is more likely to have quitters. Oh yeah and I'd like to use myself as an example... 2100 Total, nothing really new or exciting about RS in my eyes anymore. So I decided to play console games instead. Jagex isn't only a business. They are a gaming company too and as such they should provide a game that is fun for everyone - not just a portion of the customers. High levels are paying customers too and their population increases overtime, except for the ones who quit (which is probably because of lack of high leveled updates anyways :-w :-w ). It doesn't make sense in a video game to have the harder workers get the same treatment as people who don't work as hard. Especially when you take into account all the xp they gained over the people with 78 Slayer. Acting like a noob is horrible for your case man. You expect people to take you seriously now? But anyways, you should continue this debate by all means. It should be fun.

You should always have the right to complain. That's the best way to get things done when it comes to government. I don't think a person that didn't vote should be allowed to complain about governmental leaders, knowing that they didn't do anything to stop that person from reaching power. Oh, and voting matters. What could they do to stop it that actually wouldn't just be a fruitless effort? Complaining is far more effective than voting. Your voice can count as millions, your vote can only count as one.

They don't have anything 91-99, besides the Skill Cape. Low levels worked for their levels and they get a reward, high levels work even harder and get the same as low levels. Why does it make more sense to ignore the high levels? That's really democratic. The majority being pleased by it should not be a justification, especially if it meant unbalancing the game. That's saying that if the majority of people vote to do something no matter how ridiculous, that it is still "rational" just because the majority says so, and the Salem Witch Trials were "rational" because it was such a prevalent belief that witches existed and needed to be destroyed. I agree 88 would be a good start. But 95 should be reached eventually.

Because the many thousands already have many monsters, whereas the few thousand have zip. I'll ask this again, because there are more people with 99 Ranged than Magic does this justify Jagex releasing more Ranged updates?

That's the problem I've always had with democracy. It only works to satisfy the majority no matter how ridiculous, not to do what's fair or what's right. That's a very nice way of putting it, because it sounds optimistic but it's still accurate.

Do you think your vote makes a difference or not? I don't think mine does, unless the votes are tied which is extremely rare so I wouldn't count that. Look at how many people there are voting. Those are slim odds. :)
