Yeah pretty much. Sex is a really good thing when two people are using it to show how much they love each other or to start a family. I wouldn't even consider porn as a bad thing. They are consenting adults after all.
  2. Item scamming is now only for runecrafting, people lieing about assisting 2x nats/10x airs for the exp. Doesn't telling people to help manipulate GE prices with you count as item scamming too?
  3. Umm, never made the assertion that Sailing is definitely coming out. I just said it could be a good idea and it's not as unlikely as people say it is. Someone needs a comprehension check... Thanks for proving my point for me. Next time be sure not to bring up evidence that backfires on you. Here, I'll clear things up for you so that you cease at making a fool of yourself. My argument was against the people who say, "No, Sailing will never come out!" and "No, Sailing is the worst skilling idea ever!"
  4. Wow, then homophobia is pretty damn prevalent. I don't know a straight guy who's not afraid of that.

Depends on what you mean by bad. If you just mean it's not as intense as a good session then I guess you're right, but if you're talking about rape, AID's, seduction... no.
  6. No. It's a completely different situation. Schrodinger's cat describes placing a cat (that we know exists) inside a box, then letting an event occur with two outcomes with are both equally likely. One kills the cat, one doesn't. The uncertaincy arises simply because we don't know which event has occurred until we open the box. I can't see any analogy between that and God. I think he was getting at how it's completely impossible to know if God exists just like it's impossible to know if the cat is dead. No one can tell for sure. I think that's more of an agnostic ideal though. I see the existence of God as a 50/50.
  7. Nice Slayer level, keep it up and you'll be 99 in no time. 8-)
  8. Yep, I like the lyre recharge though. I always hated the walk up there. I finished every single Achievement Diary now. \ Time to get my Quest Cape back now.
  9. I don't think that's a good idea because people will probably still use passwords that are very similar to the ones on the list.
  10. What slayer task are you given the most? Iron Dragons Do you enjoy that task? I enjoy it if I get a good drop. How often do you get that task? Probably around 20% of the time.
  11. I don't see how it makes any logical sense at all to give yourself disadvantages.
  12. One Runecrafting level. :D
  13. Under one of the leave-traps at the Elf place.
  14. Lumbridge because the river and farmlands are so peaceful.
  15. Helm: Slayer Helm Plate, Legs: Torags Boots: Dragon Necklace: Fury Shield: Crystal Cape: Prayer Cape Weapon: Whip
  16. And you're supposed to be some wise prophet or something...? :-k Obviously they will be updating the old skills hence the title "Year of the Updates" but still, I don't see how that means they won't be adding in anything new. I'm not saying that - it's just your argument seemed to revolve around the usefulness of skills as opposed to anything else. Slayer and Construction aren't necessarily as useful as most of the other skills, but the way Jagex introduced them into the game made them enjoyable skills. I don't see why the assumption should be made that Jagex is going to stop following their old successful ways. Yes, it could. This was my main point in the first place. I'm not saying that it's definitely going to happen but I just don't see how it's anymore unbalanced than the other skills. Oh and whatever you think is implied by Sailing is your personal opinion. What Sailing implies to me is struggling to ride through ominous storms, accessing new areas (areas where you can train your other skills), new methods of fishing, plunging into watery depths for treasure, upgrading your ship, facing off against other ships, maneuvering through reef-mazes, etc. That's what I call an intricate place in the RS system. No, I just don't see how it would be any more unbalanced than the other skills. That's nothing but a pretty bold assumption if you ask me. You should give Jagex more credit. Don't you think that if they can make a the most successful Java game ever then they have the genuine ability to make a skill that fits almost perfectly into the RS system? I don't know where you got off that Sailing implies nothing more than making money. What says that Jagex isn't going to make the enjoyability a big part of it? Like I said earlier, Construction and Slayer aren't exactly useful but the way Jagex incorporated them into RS is what got people hooked on.
  17. Exactly. I also always think, "WHY ME??!!??"
  18. We assume that everything must have a cause because that's what all our experiences tell us. Again, we also assume that something can't come from nothing because that's what our experiences tell us. But if matter/energy is never destroyed or created, why does it make sense to ask where it came from? Why does it even make sense to assume that the non-existence of something is the necessary prior state before existence? To me, there doesn't seem to be any physical reason why the Universe must have 'come' from something, and why it can't just exist. In fact, according to Victor Stenger the latter is the more preferable physical state which the former would collapse into. I can understand the idea of the universe always being here, but I can't understand how our world has nothing aside from ourselves influencing it. You can call it karma or God or whatever, but I just think something ties everything together. When you look at aspects of life like math, love, music, etc. it's kind of hard to believe that all of that just happened because of nothing more than bizarre probabilities.
  19. I also sit in positions like Final Fantasy characters.

It even has a long neck like one. :P
  21. Just out of curiosity, what reasons do you have to disbelieve? And no, I don't mean the burden of proof - I mean what makes you want to be an atheist. I don't know about you, but the idea that we have something 'sheltering' over humanity sounds comforting.
  22. You use Crafting as an example to show that every skill has interrelating elements in Runescape? Sorry, but only a few skills can be placed on that same pedestal of diversity. Woodcutting and Agility are both skills but you don't see much variety in those... yet people train them all the time. Wait a second. You completely omitted the fun aspect of the game in your argument. Besides, I don't think adding more efficient/profitable means is as infeasible as you make it seem. If it was possible with Hunter and Farming, skills that everyone assumed would be pointless, why can't it be possible for Sailing? Sailing for loot and fun isn't a new dimension to the game yet obtaining herbs is? Also, you never told me how any of that makes Runescape "unbalanced". You seem to be forgetting that people train skills just because of the fact that they are skills. If Jagex implemented Sailing, that doesn't mean people are going to stop using other methods of loot gathering altogether. Different people have different preferences. For example, PKing is probably the best way of making money right now, but personally I prefer making money by RCing. The fact that PKing can earn you a larger quantity of money does not suggest that people are just gonna completely forget about RCing.
  23. Probably when I got my first 99 skill which was Woodcutting.
