  1. F2P activities are supposed to be steaming piles of cabbage. Why would anyone upgrade to members if they could just be F2P and get everything they want?
  2. Hmm, it was either Socrates or Plato who said that something exists once we have given it a label. This reminds me exactly of that. An animal can't give a definition of something like "good", so it is up to the humans to define it.
  3. Nice to see you post in my blog too. :D I've finally got a few levels (it's been forever!!!). -85 Farming -79 Summoning
  4. But that is saying that combat doesn't fit under the subcategory of "skills". Wouldn't a more appropriate title be "Noncombatant" or something like that?
  5. Like I said, it's not made up my Man. It's there. Some people think that it's just an artificial way of recording events in chronological sequence, when-- It's not. Artificial, arbitrary concepts can't be warped by gravity. Well, in a way, it is a measurement much like length and weight. But just because we use it as a measurement doesn't mean it can't exist naturally. Even if humans didn't exist the flow of time would remain the same, different objects would grow and gain weight, etc. I think it really just depends on how you look at it.
  6. And how, exactly, am I a hypocrite for believing flat out that god does not exist? (i.e. "strong atheism") Like I said, the burden of proof is a two-way street. You can be indifferent to the existence of God but making the claim that he doesn't exist is also a positive assertion. See Tryto's last post on page 100.
  7. You forgot to mention the item with the worst case of this: cars.
  8. Ahh, that's much more sensible than a god punishing his own creations. I wonder why it's so embedded into modern Christianity though. But anyways, thanks. :
  9. The cow is a lie. Taste buds never lie, unless you just brushed your teeth.
  10. (Playing devil's advocate here.) That's exactly it. We can never prove it incorrect, so technically there is no proof that God doesn't exist, either. I've always looked at burden of proof as a two-way street. You don't believe in hell? Doesn't that contradict your own beliefs?

In your opinion obviously. Yeah, no one can speak for everybody when it comes to "Which sport is the best?".
  12. Okay, let's talk about... hell. If God does exist, why would he send any one of his creations into eternal damnation?
  13. The title of this forum is "Off-Topic". Really??? Yeah, just thought I'd let ya know that trailing off is common around here and allows for greater discussion. Especially in these really big threads.
  14. ...They don't speak English... Anyway, goodnight. Don't forget to fall asleep on your side. ;)

Soccer is the most popular, but American football is probably the most intense and exciting.
  17. Are you asking if doing drugs is justifiable when French people annoy you? If so, the answer is yes.
  18. Or God could make the disease nonexistent in the first place which would ensure that 101 people were healthy. That sounds like the more preferable method of an all-loving good god.
  19. Believing a religion = hearing God speak? Um, are you sure?
  20. You sure the little voice in our heads isn't just our subconscious?
  21. What is "basic" and what is not is very subjective though. In my opinion, what we already have incorporated into Runescape (the broadest aspects of the game) is what I define as basic. It wouldn't make sense that Jagex added more "basic" material into the game. As time goes on, the updates get more advanced than the previous ones.
  22. Iron Maiden - Two Minutes to Midnight
  23. Umm, TIF of course. Even when I'm doing something that requires extra attention like Firemaking or Hunter, I still tend to log in because it makes the time pass faster.
  24. I tried four times. The first time I was unprepared and had a horrible Ranged level so I died on the wave before Jad. The next three times I got to Jad but I panicked and died. :D
