  1. We all know of the phenomenon of the "skillers". According to popular belief, a skiller is a level 3 who trains his or her skills as high as they can without gaining any combat levels. Well, since when is combat not a skill? Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Ranged, Magic, Prayer, and Summoning all go under the category of skills, yet if you train them, some say you lose your title of being a skiller. I don't agree with that at all. Some may see it as a handicap to stay level 3. That might be true in some cases like Thieving, but when it comes down to it, all those maxed out players spent tons and tons of hours getting their combat up. Why isn't combat a "skill"?
  2. The only chore I engage in would be Farming and that's merely because I'm a skiller. Once in a while I will do Tears of Guthix. I never do stuff like MTK. I play to have as much fun as I can, and walking the whole way over there everyday just to get some money isn't my style at all.
  3. I am male and I wear skirts all the time IRL. Whoa, you better be Irish or something.
  4. I do miss the old trading system. You could make money a lot easier by merchanting and you could give and receive gifts. But, according to Jagex, it was the only solution to keep the game from being ruined. I'd rather play Runescape at all than be able to trade freely for a couple months.
  5. ^^^ Wow, that's a long list. I knew the book contradicted itself, but I had no idea it was that bad.

"Crookedly" would imply that the way in which someone placed the hat (verb) was crooked since it is an adverb. "Crooked" implies that the hat (noun) is crooked after someone has placed it on their head which is what I meant. It doesn't matter though. The point of this thread is that we should be tolerant about mistakes.

The guy who complained about someone making a grammatical error, even though he said "I wasn't trying to be a grammatically-critical". Plus, crookedly is an adverb and crooked is an adjective. I see you edited that first sentence out though.

Why do some people take it so seriously if you make mistakes on the forums? Nobody is perfect and we all make errors every now and then. I mean as long as your posts are legible and easy to comprehend, why is there a problem? It's like yelling at someone because of something trivial like having their hat on crooked. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter whether someone said "should of" instead of "should have".
  9. You know by saying that it makes you no better than us. :)
  10. "Critical" is a noun??? And I know you're not the one with a sig preaching perfect grammar. Instead, you take the energy to make posts about it.
  11. How can it be the last time when there wasn't even a first? Plus you never even implied that he should remove his sig until now. And so what if it is hypocrisy? It's like the most minor case of that I've ever seen. If you want to really get technical "trying to be a grammatically-critical" isn't correct either. PS3: God, I'm in a grammar war. Where have I gone wrong in my life?
  12. Well, maybe you're-right. ;) Still no need to be a grammar nazi though. You're not perfect either. Keep posting and I guarantee you'll make mistakes too. PS: I'd like to see you answer Pennywise's question. PS2: Actually, there is a grammatical error in your post anyways.
  13. There shouldn't be a hyphen in between "grammatically" and "critical".
  14. Wait a second. Are you condoning perverted comments? The world wouldn't be a very pleasant place if everyone spoke their minds 100% of the time.
  15. Still, when you compare those two with pretty much every other skill, they require much less effort.
  16. You use a formula which dictates what people should have in their banks and use it as justification for why F2P deserves more bank space?
  17. No, a funnier one would be "Smoking Kills". (Killing someone with Ancient Smoke Spells.) ;)
  18. My friends and I were in line for a rollercoaster and this one Indian guy leaned over my friend's shoulder and he was murmuring something. We all gave each other funny looks, and he kept murmuring for a while. We thought he was praying or cursing us or something. Then finally he blurted out a random number and we were like, "What...?" He was just counting the beads on the door and was leaning over my friend for a closer look.

^^^ You're allowed to flame but he's not allowed to comment on how you're a brown-noser?
  22. Well I would but I'm too impatient when it comes to leveling melee. When I see I could get a Defense level or something quicker than my next Strength level, I tend to pick the faster one.
  23. Very true. That is also the only problem I have with religion. If you want to go to church, worship, read, sing, and believe then that is your business. But when you take religion and try to force it on others or do questionable things in the name of your religion then there is a problem.
