Does it really just boil down to the mathematical probability when determining if there is life out there? Sorry but to me I think it should be a bit deeper than that. In my opinion it's like trying to explain our emotions, feelings, and consciousnesses with linear math or logic. Sure, it can help you grasp a better understanding of how things work but there are still always going to be mysteries about. Kind of reminds me how "the meaning of life is 42". :lol: Anyways, onto my main point: Just because we have observed something (our existence) doesn't necessarily mean there has to be more of it elsewhere. Which is impossible to prove and I think we both know it. Yes. :)

It's like your beliefs are selected at random because the arguments supporting them can easily go both ways. You are asking us for proof that there are no aliens out there - how do you expect us to prove a non-existence? Isn't it much easier to prove the existence?

Yeah, I agree. That's how I handle all of the bad times in my life. I just think to myself that things will always get better - and it's always true. In order to be happy, you have to choose to be happy.
