as a matter of fact I don't have my own shop to bump. I haven't made sigs for money in a long time . I did make a clan banner recently, and didn't finish the other. I got tired of being a slave to deadlines and people like you. I just do art when I feel like it now. As I said, he is quite ABLE to bump people. But it will just make him viewed less highly. Maybe I should make a large bid just to make you wait.

Translation: He doesn't bump people for money, he just bumps people for money. If you take LOTS of money and put someone who is already in line on hold, that is BUMPING PEOPLE FOR MONEY!

Well since I closed the shop, anything that wants to be done now has to be at least 1 mill to motivate me enough to move away from my clients in the list as they take a while to finish and I have almost no time for sigs now. It's what people have offered a few times so I want to be fair to them and my clients. You can run your shop how you want, but bumping people for more money could get you less liked by all. My advice...finish the orders, scrap the shop completely, take only private orders that you really feel like messing with, rely on personal referrels for business and set insanely high prices. That way, since it is all throug pm, no one knows if you are charging them more :) And if you don't feel like doing one you can just say, nah, forget it, I can't be bothered. Course, what do I know. I didn't even finish my recent orders :) (I used to be so prompt..ah well..pity.)

well I think you would follow the join link :) Post on the forums, and I will mention that I know you. But at the moment we are not recruiting much. We just had a new wave we are integrating.

easy to fix...I just didn't bother until I decided if I like it. As to the button text, yeah were cleaning that up. I would try the center tags, but it is all absolutely positioned. So it doesn't seem to cut it. vector huh? okie dokie :)

Great job here, well organized shop, eventual order fulfillment, great art and maintaining good prices :) Only compliant...use a different border color sometimes! Great to see some hand drawing artists around.

A breif history.... The original SMG idea was floated by lookin4luv, the gf of then prominent sig maker IDPUP. He had just won the most popular sig maker honor in a poll. It was intended to give credibility to certain sigmakers based on their PROFESSIONALISM. That did NOT mean how good they were. It was supposed to be based on whether they were honest carried through with orders in a timely manner (wow, I actually did at one time) Were helpful, etc. In the founding process the first step was to pick a leader. They had a poll and it came down to the wire with Keiphus being edged out by IDPUP. Then began the initial groundwork, the orgainzation of the guild, etc...actually a lot of this was going on concurrently, but I am simplifying. Immediately there were problems with a. the choice of the leader b. The perceived actions of the leader. Two people were banned as a result of name calling of an extreme nature, Keiphus quit the guild right out of the gate, and from there the SMG started its course of slouching to mediocrity. We were completely abirtrary in who we let in, but most were pretty good. Keiphus eventually came back. Pup quit over the leader thing. Eventually we realized we let in too many artists who were good, but not that good, and we set down strict standards, and reorganized into the DAG, Digital Art Group. We had two membership reviewers, Keiphus and I, and Huang was the leader. We were strict..very strict. And most people were left ticked over the whole thing. Not many posts, but I WILL say that we had great reviews, far better than the ones in the media board, but I think the lack of activity by the better artists hurt the media board. WE eventually changed it to a friendship group by invite only, but dropped the skill requjrement. It was a relaxed social group. If it were not for inactivity it was fine. It died when the boards died. I would suggest NOT doing it again. It hurts feelings, and while providing a good place to hang out with media friends, was not worth the work.

Sorry to advertise, but at the heart of this issue is the thorny discussion over what exactly is Runescape clan honor. I have made a new proposal that would elminate the need for this kind of post. Essentially it would define honor PRIMARILY as, don't mess with us, we won't mess with you. It is of course more complex. But the upshot is that once a clan attacks you you should have the RIGHT to defend yourself with ANY MEANS necessary without worrying about being called dishonorable. The proposal can be found here http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=54603 It also proposes codifying in print form the agreed notions of honor. Then you could advertise your clan as SUBSCRIBING TO THE CODE OF HONOR of course clans wouldn't have to be honorable, and certainly all wouldn't That is fine too. this way you know what you get when you sign up.

Go back to making sigs huh? I will assume that is an inability to confront my actual argument. I quit making sigs a while ago. Now I am interested in the clan scene. I hardly need stop making sense just for you do I? Now give some substance. What are your other ways? To whine on here? I don't see that defeating them. If anything it is making more people defend them.

thats kinda classed as cheating, this isn't between DI. ~Pete Oh no! not cheating! anything but that! Please, it is not cheating, you said they could bring whoever. Now your scared because it might be DI. Don't bully and boast and strut for 14 pages then wet yourself after someone accepts. It is not cheating. It is just what you asked for. Again, an example of the honor card.....honor gets me what I want...and when I don't want it..it isn't honorable.

Perhaps DI is interested in breaking the power of the alliance. They can ally with whoever they want you said. don't tell me after all these pages of boasting your going to freak because one DI said they might fight you.

First off, i am speaking for myself, not my clan. I am not the leader, Elf is. ------------------------ I hate to mention it but the consequences are....nothing. You can't force them to war you. You can try to shame them all you want. But it appears they have seen a larger force they can't fight one on one so they plan to fight you in a different way. The only way to FORCE a confrontation is to do what they do...trick them. But...you are too honorable for that. Face it folks, you have built the honor system and now it ties your hands. The honor system is a way to enforce your idea of how the game should be played. Well now you have said you are honorable so you won't crash them. Then all you can do is cry on here while they continually crash you. You may not like their tactics, but if you continue to cling to a false honor system you will be unable to do anything about it. Crashing is part of the game. Spies are part of the game. You can keep talking honor, but you are just going to be hiding from the facts. You can't stop a determined enemy that doesn't care about honor without forcing the fight. --------------- On another note, if a clan wants to war all the time, and their opponents agree to it, why is that wrong? (this is not addressing crashing, just normal wars).

Thunder...I sure will...but have two orders already, and have ....little motivatoin :) I have decided NOT to make the other monk one. Just cellsnakes. I don't think it is fair to take both as I will split my good ideas between the two. Sorry.

Or you could do what the elves of mirkwood did...think it was them. They started a thread in the clan discussion page and just talked away there. And actually...I think they still do so...but some clans used to employ hidden forums on scape. Check with an Admin
