I'd just become members first, and then for your level goals. Skills like crafting and smithing are difficult to train efficiently in F2P, because of the limited resources/items available to make.

I had that once (minus the wc axe), but got bored will it and sold all my scim, dds, and hally :P .

Maybe if you posted you stats we could give you some real advice.....at 80 defense and 77 magic, I can stay duo-ing for about 2 hours with a partner around the same level. If you solo, you get pounded pretty hard by the Spinyolps, so you won't be able to stay long unless you have something insane like 90+ mage and defense. This, of course, is assuming that you mage rex from the safespot.
